- Here is another great place to ride in Central Florida! Lake Louisa State Park is well paved, has quiet roads and beautiful views, it's for cycling.

Florida’s State Parks are a hidden treasure. There are 175 state parks and many have them good riding. The annual pass is $60 but if you usually take a friend of two get the family pass for $120. That allows admission of up to 8 people in a vehicle in most parks.
I was very surprised with lake Louisa! I’ll definitely look for other parks to ride
Venezuela in the house!
Had a great time there, and I did ride faster with with Alex socks! Man, what difference ! I’ve been missing out ! 😂
Long socks is my secret sauce for speed 😄
Just don't go too long. That's just about as bad! 😁🤣🧦
Easily 5watt/🦶
Respect rockin the CK 😂
🤦🏻♂️
thanks for the video....been looking for a flat long trail without cross road....nice place to go really fast....it just an hour ride for me but will give it a try
Actually it's 10.2 mile loop assuming you go down the cabin road as well and turn around just past the dumpster just north of the RV sites.
Here now from Maryland. Have been coming here for about 7 years. In one of the RV sites for 2 weeks
There are some trails for CX and mountain bikes. The sand can get deep sometimes.
Yah, I really have to take a look into those trails
Nice place
Thanks Alex for the new area to bike. Marie and I (Dinsmore) will scout it for a route to and from Waterfront Park to add more kms.
Ive rode up to waterfront park from highlands reserve a few times, Sometimes I go in to lake Louisa to skip a good chunk of hwy 27. The gravel and dirt roads surrounding this park is where the real fun is!
That was great, and I enjoyed your ride at Lake Apopka too. I call more serious bikers "the spandex crowd", and I don't try to keep up with them. My socks are shorter, shirt looser, etc., but I like to do 20+ mile, sometimes longer, slower rides, and explore. All the extra info., like where to park, fees, what else you can do there, was right up my alley. I'm just N of Orlando, & I'd make the trip.
No matter if you are from the “spandex crowd” or “loose shirt crowd”, it’s all about riding bikes and having fun. Thank you for the the comment 🤙
How funny, the only crowd I belong to is a bunch of silver hairs and some of us wear spandex because of the comfort. Safe travels!
@@gypsywindadventures Maybe I should change it to "bike bib crowd", but "spandex" has a ring to it.
Nice video as always. There are gravel trails around Lake Lousia... for future vids...😊
I was thinking about that! Wasn’t sure if they were rideable. Thank you for letting me know
@@TheRideXperienceI was told by one of the park rangers that there are about 20 miles of gravel trails at Lake Louisa State Park.
Just say "No" to short socks! 😂😂😂
Agree!!!
