Awesome video man! Thanks for the ride. I’m actually from Florida (Bartow) so it seems really neat to ride near Disney. I’ve lived in Atlanta Georgia now for 28 years and cycle here on the hills. Maybe some day make down to the fast flats. You guys might be a little too fast for me.😂😂😂

I live about two minutes from one of the entrances to this trail. I frequently ride it on my hardtail mountain bike, but looking to get a gravel bike soon. I love riding into the wildlife drive and seeing all the wildlife. The lack of tree cover is brutal though if you are not riding it super early in the morning in the summer. Glad to see it featured in a video!

Top tier vid! Great footage and seriously, chatting while riding without a bunch of cuts is admirable! But balancing your water amount and the humidity is an extra challenge out here in Florida but it’s satisfying when you master it and can survive this summertime environment!

Where is grove land I live in Sarasota

i love riding my fixed gear....been looking for a level bike path that close to home....also been avoiding any local road....its hard to gain speed when there's some stops and turns....i leave close to Kissimmee...and i just go to Winter Garden and just do a 4 mile loop....do you have any recommendation close to this area....just wondering

I get not wanting to give trade secrets away but I would have liked to see more about that stripped thru axle and talk about what can be done if the female threads in the frame are boogered. I have to remove my front wheel daily to transport my bike and I worry about the threads. It's an expensive ENVE fork and I fear I may have to replace the whole fork at some point.

Alex TY so much for this video I have been struggling the past two years with time constraints and inability to be consistent as I have been in the past. I did not stop riding but I did get out and stay in my comfort zone in the process. This season I am surpassing my personal bests as a result of major changes in my life. I still won't get the bog miles like in the past but my miles are coming easier.....Hope to ride with you someday.

Hi Alex. I agree with what you said and you must not let go of your cycling. For us retirees, we have all the time now to ride our passion everyday because we put the effort in while working and raising a family. All the best on your new house.

That's a wonderful park! We were out there scouting it with the Rangers for a place to shoot a Discovery crime show CSI scene.... some place where you'd "dump a body". The CSI host said "noone would dump a body there". As far as taking time off the bike, that is great advice; I took 3 months off and it ended up being 12 years.

It's all about doing things in moderation.

This is 100% me right now. I haven't had much capacity to exercise over the last few months. I am down to maybe 1.5 hrs a week. It has been disheartening not getting the rides/runs in, but anything more puts my body at a further deficit. Here's to easier days!

This message was much needed! Some days I know I have to film for CZcams and make a video but I don’t have the motivation at times especially being a home owner now for the first time out here. Slowly building back my road bike so I can join some of the group rides soon!

Great video, Alex. The message is on target. After owning and running my business for 30 years and recently retired, I am "reaping the seeds I sowed" many years ago. Just remember that the life you live today will determine the life you live when you retire. BTW... you rode right by my house when going down Hancock. 😀

Minor correction, Colnago does not paint its frames at “their factory” in Cambiago. The C68’s (all C series) are shipped out to a paint house near Pisa called Pamapaint. Their Ti lugs for the C68 Ti are also made out of the factory. All in Italy of course but not all in house.
