I'm 34, and have finally gotten around to learning some sleight of hand and up close magic. Wanted to for years now. So I bought four Bicycle decks, came home, and started searching online. Found this video, practiced it for a week, and stumped my 13 year old son with it. Gonna keep at it and hopefully be able to fool my older brother by Thanksgiving. Wish me luck. Thanks for the tutorial.
0:35 I thought he was gonna pull a card out of his mouth! 😂

Chris, I started doing this about two years ago and was getting in over my head. So I gave up. No I ran across your beginner tutorials and it seemed as if you were moving along at a pace where I could keep up and get back involved.. So I bought a deck of cards and started following along. You have brought this back into my life at the beginner level and have made it possible to gain a level of proficiency in a relatively short period of time. Thank you so much. I am subscribed.
Let's go my man always great to get motivated
Trying first trick: *cards fall on the floor*
Remi Lokhandwala when you flick the deck do it as a snap/quick move so they don’t fall
@@tonycoppen8498 Yes. Thank you. I was just joking but thanks for giving the feedback
I'm getting really good at 52 pick-up
Same happened

Thank you for not editing out your drop on the double undercut... You're a real person, who in much less spectacular fashion, makes the same mistakes that I do lol
Also, "calm down, it's just a card trick." So helpful. As a beginner, it feels like our whole identity as a magician hinges on not screwing up, rather than being a person who shares some magic.
True. :3
Found you by watching you doing your puzzles then started watching your magic. Safe to say you inspired me to pick up the hobby
First I learned how to solve a Rubik’s cube because I saw people doing it on YT and now I’m learning how to do magic too and this guy is really good at teaching and I also found him by his puzzle videos
Same!
same the first video i saw was him opening his $10,000 custom made puzzle
Me too! Was only interested in puzzles but now I love both! :))

I have always loved card tricks and have just stumbled upon your videos, really love the energy you bring to them.
i know i’m REALLY late but i wanted to say that you definitely inspired me to try other card tricks. thank you 🙂
Wow, I knew the 6&9 trick but the other one got me. Their were both awesome. Everything you do looks so smooth and beautiful.
I really like the explanation of the sleights. That's like my biggest problem in magic even easier ones like these I tend to avoid lol and find sneaky ways to remake a trick without them.
I had forgotten this trick from way back, however it always had a strong reaction & the way you present it is casual & makes the ending quite a surprise to most, some times simple tricks can look fantastic!
Dude, all of these videos are amazing. My five year old daughter and I just stumbled across your channel and we can't stop watching your stuff. She loves your magic. Thanks for doing what you do
Thanks to you I’ve learnt my first card trick haha so thanks man It’s extremely satisfying to watch that card you moved around successfully sandwich itself between the Queens
LOVE IT! i have very shaky hands so a lot of the slight of hand tricks are kinda impossible for me to master ;(. That is why I love these simple and powerful tricks, because people will still be amazed XD.
Thx Ram
Have never done magic a day in my life until I found your puzzle videos which now led to your magic videos. Keep posting both cause you're making more and more of us fans!
I can’t stop watching your videos; loving your vibe and sense of humor 🙌🏻
Nice, Bro!
I saw ur vids they are awesome

I love this. I'm going to pick up a deck of cards after work to try this. Thanks Chris! Loving your magic videos! Especially the street magic videos!
I love you! So inspired by what you do. Been blowing peoples minds with what you show and have even invented my own mind blowing tricks from scratch!
Great stuff Chris. Gave me flashbacks. I use to do this trick back in the late 70's when I first got into magic. Mad respect to you for getting me back into it.

Great stuff Chris ... I somehow got it within five minutes ... the only trick that I could do nearly after watching video... although some decks are more challenging to throw them around than the others...Thanks a bunch man ...

Yesssss! I watched magicians revealed back in the day and this is the first trick I learned as well! I am learning and trying to be the best ha thankfully I have an audience of my children 7 and 9 year old to think im a genius! love this channel!!
Thanks for this trick. I adapted it and made a new trick. I'm new to card magic and learned the overhand shuffle recently and how to control cards on both the top and the bottom of the deck. I have one or two participants pick two cards. Using overhand shuffle I stop midway and have the first participant drop the card to the top of the deck then using in jog I setup a break as I finish off the overhand shuffle. I then cut at the break so the card goes to the top then I overhand shuffle to get that card to bottom. I then overhand shuffle and have 2nd participant put card on top mid shuffle, and repeat. I keep the original card on the bottom while doing the new overhand shuffle and work that new card to the top. So ultimately the two selections are both at the top and bottom of the deck. I then snap my wrist with one motion and instantly draw both of their selections out of the deck at the same time!
As soon as he sad the thing about deck i gave it a like🙂👍

I learn that trick with figure cards. I do that with 6 and 9 in black since over 25 years. You are the first who I see with same card. Cool.

The 69, I like the sound of that....😂 great vid and tutorial
Oh Damn!!! That 6's and 9's is Fantastic!! I just started getting into card tricks last month. Been taking weekly Zoom lessons from a Magician but honestly I am learning more from your channel than from him and will be signing up for your tutorials in a couple weeks after done w my lessons.I was just practicing that throw this morning-- just messing around not part of any trick-- But using that throw/toss in that way you taught-- that trick is great!!! Thanks !!!
Great looking deck & you’re super smooth with them! Love it.
Yow we did it!

So Irma hit and there's not internet in our area. A nice friend let me use their hotspot for a few minutes so I had to see what Ramsay and Spade were up to. Love the video, can't wait to see the cards.

My dad used to do a trick like this but except using cards he drank heavily and beat our mom in front of us.
Then it is probably not possible if even you had problems with it, I don't record videos anymore because of hard drive space.
Nice
Your comment is so confusing lol

Is there any chance you could teach us your ACAAN Routine? If not could you teach us more advanced tricks?
GodofGaming 123 he uses Asi Wind's ACAAN, so he's never gonna teach it. But you're more than welcome to buy the download! :)

Yoooo Chris, I know you have tips for begginers, but I have a question, where exactly do I begin? Do I study some magic, focus on specific tricks (like changes, card control, etc) I'm kinda lost, but appreciate your work man, keep it up ^^
Jake Atkins ty very much my friend, appreciate it ^^
don't forget books.. encyclopedia of card tricks by jean hugard. and i also learned a few from jay nation
yeah dude, people don't have any idea just how good that channel is
Ty for the help guys, definitely going to check both the app and the channel you've mentioned ^^
and books
I love your stuff, You have unknowingly got me into collecting playing cards, I've played magic (the gathering) for a long time, and collected those, but I wasn't aware until i start watching your videos lately, sparked by a video i came across randomly, when your showing off the puzzle with NPH's cards. I immediately stopped watching the video and bought them, so i could solve it myself. I have yet to finish the puzzle, but i was a big fan of Hacker capture the flag, and that's what i love about the puzzle.
PS- Its so obvious that you and Peter Mckinnon (Hope I spelled that right) are friends. Love his stuff as well, but your camera and film style are so alike. Keep up the cards stuff, I like your puzzles, but ide never be able to afford any of those puzzles that look so awesome. I played all of "The Room" games included the VR games, and I cannot get enough.
Peace!
Now this was the FIRST card trick I ever learned! Thanks!
When he pulled the 2 selected cards out I already knew that they were not of the same suit
1:36 how and what is that called...😱😱😱
It's the spring

C Sumlin have you learnt it yet.
I learned this card trick when I first started magic and loved it but felt I could do a little more. After picking up “The Royal Road to Card Magic” I learned the overhand shuffle control and learned to use that and find 2 spectators cards with this principal as well.
really good and easy to learn tricks. Thanks Chris for sharing
