    8:36 3 of spades is orientated down from earlier when you dropped it Chris. Good thing you saw what card it was earlier! Lol love this trick but yea it can go wrong.
    Just like any other trick.

    I actually learned this in a book called Mark Lemezma's Card Magic. I like your handling better. The way its taught in the book you can't shuffle the cards like you did here. Awesome video bro!!! The quality content you provide is insane!.

    When you were looking for the 6 of spades, i noticed a 3 of spades upside down and was like "Am I getting it all wrong?" But if you look closely, the card he dropped when he was shuffling was that 3 of spades that he returned it wrong. ups ! Great stuff Chris, you're my inspiration, i got into magic 3 months ago and been loving it. cheers from Argentina!

    Cool trick, but it could go wrong so easily. If they drop a card or put the card back in a different orientation then you expect etc.

      that's why it's a magicians fooler. They should know how to shuffle the cards without letting them fall. for normal people, every other trick would be easy enough to fool them. But still it can happen, but that's with many tricks that you could mess up. Just a tiny chance.

      If somebody destroy your stack improvise and do another Impromptu Miracle ;-) Don't be scared of failin. Michael Jordan it's one of the best Basketball Players but he missed 9000 shots. So he also failed but still one of the best Players. You have to fail to improve... Muxx Love broh...

      Bruh, this is meant to foo Magicians, meaning a magician is going to handle the cards. There is literally only a 90% chance any magician with respectable skill to drop the cards.

    What would happen if they pick a card like the 10 of diamonds where it doesn't have an orientation?

      Vlogging and stuff With Dan you force them to pick one of the oriented cards by either forcing one or just telling them to pick a card from the packet that has orientations.

      @@DanTrueman08 While sorting them, he puts part on bottom and second part on top - and 10 of diamonds goes in the bottom. That answers the question, I only realised that after watching it the second time.

      @wings GFX He made two piles. The ace was the middle that separated the cards with orientations from the ones that have no orientation. They then choose from the pile in which the orientation matters.

      they can’t choose a 2; when they pick a card, they are choosing from the pile with orientations. it is impossible for them to choose a card without an orientation (such as 2) unless you made a mistake when sorting the cards

      It wouldn't be a faced card that they pick because the half of the deck you are having them choose a card from is the half that you can tell the orientation. The face cards are not in that pile.

      You group the face and symmetric/mirrored upside down suit to a group. We want to eliminate this cards because it got no imperfection design to help you. Meanwhile other group of cards like eg. 7 of spades, you will notice one suit will face differently when rotate up or down. We can use this help to detect when it rotate up or down and align them properly to face up. Now, you ask the person to pick a card from this group of cards and you rotate the card on your hand and ask them put them back. At this point, one of the card suit already face downward and this help you find that card.

    I came up with a similar trick a few months ago, when I started getting into this, except with a super rocky setup where I'm like "I can only do this with certain cards" then only use the cards that have an orientation! This is such a better version of the trick! Thanks!
