Mad Love! Great video, was like being sat there with you 🙌
yeah it did feel like that,.,.peace
@@johnmallette3143 a perfect format, I think it’s what we’re all looking for, to feel a part of this, it brings us into the present moment and asks for nothing in return, and the fascinating subject is just a bonus 🙏
How does this video NOT reach millions of views? That's right because casinos would be out of business I guarantee you they use this period
YOU KNOW ITS ALL BULLISH WITH CAMERA CUTS AND MORE LIES. you love lies! hOW SAD FOR YOU!
@@joshuarupert4579 You’d be wrong if you made that guarantee. Do you have any idea how strict they are with their suppliers?
Between this and your recent magic compilation, it really feels like you are re-energized and re-inspired Chris! Love the content and the recent vibe!! Keep up the good work!
I concur.

I love when you do these professional looking videos about awesome topics in magic. I love the history as well.
Great fresh content for this channel. I'll always enjoy watching skilled magicians talk about magic without giving too much away but dropping enough breadcrumbs to allow people to do some research and start learning on their own. I really enjoyed fool us when Penn would use some obscure code and then I miss the rest of the episode because I've spent 20 minutes on my phone learning about some new method or performance.
*I’m a dealer in Vegas, and I use a lot of these tricks to make the customers lose every time. I get an actual commission for the amount I bring to the house.*
Love the recent vids man! These videos are what got me into magic in the first place 4 years ago; why I went to Magifest last year, and why I now do actual shows! For money! Lol. All of your videos kept me inspired and kept me on track. I think sometimes you can practice so much as a magician to where you become a little jaded. But every time, to motivate myself, I would rewatch some Chris Ramsay and BAM! Back out there doing that triumph until it was flawless. Or getting my fingers to move just right for a flashless pass. Thanks man! You have done a lot for the community and I commend you for it. 😏👍🏻
Oh man this was so much fun to watch. It is so cool to see all the tricky stuff. I love the small documentary style you do. Cant wait for the next one!
*I’m a dealer in Vegas, and I use a lot of these tricks to make the customers lose every time. I get an actual commission for the amount I bring to the house.*
Been watching you for years, this was such a great video! So glad you had a nice break Can't wait to keep watching more videos!
That red deck with the diamonds on the back of it in the thumbnail got my attention immediately. My uncle gave me that exact deck as a present. It was very old but he told me there was a trick to be able to distinguish any card just by looking at the back of it. I spent about a full day figuring out the code by myself and I still have that deck and the decoding paper to this day. Good stuff
Chris, long time fan. You're making your best work right now. Imo. These mini docs, especially the Japan video, are just excellent film making. Thanks so much for putting this work out there for us to enjoy and learn.

Awesome video Chris! Loved the interview model and the fact that you are bringing something to us that you really love. ❤️ Thank you!
Really really love this format, almost "documentary"-style.....would love to see more like this!
Great video Chris! Love that the magic content is coming back around!
This was a great episode Chris. Really enjoyed this inside look into magic and card playing
AGREED
Thank you so very much Chris! This was the best demonstration I've seen in a long time!! Now, some of the other magician/card handlers make so much more sense on how they pull cards out of nowhere from a deck of shuffled cards.

More of this type of content please. loved this!
Great videos! Love these type of content! Great mix of card magic and gambling tricks! More of this pls! :)
Also Steph seems to be a really nice guy.
Amazing video! This just might be what the doctor ordered. Keep it up! Love the concept. Loved the historical, presentation, fundamentals, teaching and interview sides. Each one could even be its own video. What a way to realign yourself! Amazing! Love it!
I really enjoyed that. Fantastic video Chris, it's nice to see you back energised. Love from the UK
Great video! Didn't expect to watch the whole thing but was fascinated.
This was great!!!! Love content like this! Thanks Chris!
Wow!!! I have never seen somebody talk about the art of card and dice cutting ever. This is too cool! The way gambling and magic intertwine is always fascinated me. Thank you so much for this awesome video! 😁
That was legit one of the coolest videos I've seen in a while! so many gems for magicians / gambling enthusiasts in there!
Great content Chris! History like this is the lesser known side of cards where allot of tricks find their origin in.
Wow Chris, im blown away from this video!!! I´ve watched you for years and have loved it, i was afraid you would quit when i saw your video about the stress and repetitive nature of your work.. This video was something new and it was so cool.. Dont stop solving puzzels, but if you enjoyed making this video, please give us more like this.. You seemed to enjoy making it, therefore it was a joy to watch you in this.. Awesome work man, love it
❤ this is fascinating. The dice shaving really surprised me. Also, editing made it look like you erased that mystery long red...dice thing. At 24:33 . Got me curious .
I really enjoy this type of content 🙂 Would be nice to see things like this more often on your channel.
man this video had me tuned in! i been busy with life so i haven’t been able to watch much but this popped on my feed and great job!
Love this! Bringing back great mentions of the other crew lately. I feel like the channel is coming back strong.
Same!

One of your best videos ever. Really good topic, the exchange between you and the guest was pristine. I feel i learned about something interesting and be entertained. My granpa would love this video, magic and tools haha.
That's high praise!
I love watching your videos. Your card skills are so sharp. I loved watching the nph video. That was an intense puzzle.
That was so nice to see Steph and have a glimpse on his work. I love what he does, I've found his website when I was looking for one particular stripper deck and was very satisfied with what I got. Thanks Chris for this awesome video, I wish you both the best.
Love stumbling on awesome, high-quality content! 👍 I'm endlessly fascinated by the fusion of engineering & psychology that these tricks & cheats represent, so the "old-school" tech is far more interesting to me than the faux iPhone... you _totally_ had me when the custom tools came out. 😎🤘
This was an awesome video! Thank you Chris!
This was so cool! I love poker, been playing since I was 8 thanks to my dad 🤦🏻♀️ Used to walk round the table when he was playing with the guys in the pub and then give him little hints 🤣🤣 Love seeing you get excited, you can see the giddy passion in videos like this!
That was fun. Enjoying the recent content as much as you appear to be making it.
Hey man I've watched all of your older videos recently and just found your channel. I always give you a thumbs 👍 up. Thank you for the entertainment and learning experience keep it up.
That's positive praise.
For me this is the best video content on your youtube. Ever! Altough I am a huge fan of almost every single video you post. Much ❤
holy crap. this was AMAZING and informative. i didnt know half of this stuff existed. this is crazy and im never playing dice with random people ever. not that i do but geez the ways people can hustle/cheat you nowadays good lord. it is all super cool and interesting but just wow
Awesome content! Need more of this and would love to see this guy again!

One of the best videos i've seen lately, just hold me all the way
Thankyou, this was absolutely fascinating! Definitely one to rewatch.

There is a game based on "The Expert and the Card Table". Story is not about S.W. Erdnase but it is about card cheating and every move is taken from that book. The name is called "Card Shark" and it is great. You should definitely try it Chris.
Love to see card related content back, may the algorithm bless you as well!
More magic!
I just wanna say that I'm so happy to see you uploading new content, you are still on your "game".
We agree.
Very cool and interesting! I want to watch that movie! Thanks, Chris and friend! ❤️
Really great video, man! Fascinating and informative stuff 🐰🍷
More !! I have no card manipulation or magical skills but find this so interesting. Brilliant.
Loved this video!!!!! So cool all the tricks and tech.
This is wild. Almost felt like a cool documentary, thank you for including those cool background facts on titanic Thompson, love the videography
Serendipitously, I'd just read _Scarne on Dice_ and _Scarne on Cards_ a few months ago, and it was great that I recognized a lot of terminology used in those books in this video. Nice to know it's still current! (I typed this out at 18:15 right after "juice joints" were mentioned.)
Was so great hearing about these new ways to cheat. So interesting, so much magic content lateley. Amazing content, Chris. Hope you're good now
With your editing and production team, I'd love to see you do a biography type series on different magicians, artists, etc....people that inspired you in life. Everything you can watch on magicians now is old and dated material. It'd even be better if you did it, while interviewing the person should they still be alive. Let them help you tell their story, but in 4k, not some old VHS quality clips
loving these new style of videos!
So good to see you give Daniel some light again. The dude is a phenom, and despite his persona, a humble man at that.
Mad Love ❤️
love this video. not like im going to use any of this information for myself but is super cool to see how all this works
Fascinating stuff. Thank you for sharing with us.
This video was super engaging! Loved it! 🔥
All I see are comments about how great the video is but nothing about the way to cheat in card games. That tells me how great of a content creator you are. I don’t think I ever saw so many great comments on a video on CZcams ever. Great job bro now I’m going back to finishing this masterpiece 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I taught a prestidigitator friend of mine, who was into card magic, Magic the Gathering. In 1994-5 we went around stores and local events to see if anyone would suspect him of cheating. For two years worth of weekends, he was only called out three times, 3 in nearly 200 days of play, at maybe 15-20 games a day.
Were they calling him out just because they lost or did they suspect some think was up?
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Informative and mind-blowing!!!
This is such a good video and so much better than the mystery solving, it’s engaging and we don’t know what’s coming thus create anticipation
I've been following magic for a very long time just as a passive interest and then one day I was shown how a card trick was done and something huge clicked in my brain. "Slight of mouth" can be just as effective as slight of hand. It's really incredible how important words can be when doing a trick.
I didn't grow up in the sense of being a kid to an adult in a pool hall, but I grew up as an adult in one. The better part of my 20's was spent there. If I wasn't at work or home sleeping, I was at the pool hall. And let me tell you, there was a LOT of gambling going on with pool and cards. So I love seeing this stuff and I wouldn't trade my time there for anything.
The talent is insane. Appreciate you Chris!
Paused the video just to like this. You are finally moving to the next level. You and Eric need to do more stuff like this. His con videos were pretty awesome.
Loved this. Great Job Chris
I got some old dice that are miss spots and weighted but Ive always wanted some legit mag casino dice. I remember watchin The Takedown many years ago and they brought in mag dice with a magnet inside a coffee cup and took the casino for a ton of money. Love this stuff.
Great episode! Well done.
Good to have you back Chris!!!
hey Chris i received your 1st deck in the mail today and i love it, it's literally the first deck i have bought since High School by the way thanks for the spare 4 of spades i'm sure it will come in handy unless you want it back i don't feel like short changing you, anyway keep up the awesome work PLEASE and THANK YOU
I really enjoyed this video. Please explore more stuff about gambling.
This was the coolest video you’ve posted in a while, Chris. Such mind blowing trickery!
You should have seen his compilation he posted the other day!
That was tight, was great to see, thanks for hiding a few of the mysteries and leaving us with a spot of wonder.
If this became a themed series. I would not complain. Excellent content.
Def agree.
Hey been watching for years and definitely drifted away for some time. Sorry about that. Don’t know why your channel fell out of favor with the algorithm but I’ve always immensely enjoyed your content and character and mind. Keep it up homie (if you want to) cause it’s a positive to the world.
Make this a series, great video.
Mind Blowing Stuff !! Loved it . Great Video.
That was fascinating, keep up the magic videos man they really are amazing (even though they get less vues unfortunately)
That is a BANGER video, great work!
That was fascinating. Wow-- heading straight to research some more on the website!! Thank you!

Love this style of video!! Watched the first half and my kids need me, can't WAIT to get back to the rest!! Let's see if I can convince them to nap on their day off 😂
24:33
that cut and hand wipe messed me up for a second lmao
Awesome vid. love the originality
Hey CR what was the deck you used in the kitchen part of your last video. That marble looking one. It's beautiful
When we film that phone side, lateral, can we see the uv scanner captured in the video?? Like a bem of purple light or something that we can detect the reading device?
Awesome video. Since I was a kid I’ve always loved card cheating techniques.
Freaking fascinating. Awesome video. That guy was great. He said he got invited to play dice after one of his gigs!?!?!? Those people were just itching to lose their money apparently. Wow.
YO WHAT A FANTASTIC VIDEO CONTENT *** KEEP IT UP CHRIS !!!
Awesome video man!
Those interested, the redacted part around 24:19 can be Googled to get an idea of what he’s likely talking about. A device that’s been around a long time, probably before the 1930’s (at least, I found one for sale that’s from around that time period). It’s so concealable that I’m not surprised it’s something still used today.
Fascinating video, Chris. I seldom want to Google something so fast if it’s not obvious what it is. Really makes me want to take a deeper dive into cheating devices and the clever things that people come up with. That shaving of the die was just unreal!
what is it?
wow, those are some really impressive tools/methods... the phone thing is crazy! thanks for sharing!

How the cards are cut from the sheet makes a difference in a very good memoried person's ability to tell what card is showing by just looking at the "cut design" on the back.
The card cutter always cuts the same pattern.
Solid video! Thank you!
What a great video! I’m glad you are back to magic!
