This chapter isn't the longest but took awhile as it's rendered entirely with NVidia Omniverse, which I needed to spend some time learning to get the best results from. Still got a lot more to learn but it's so good to finally release something made with it!
Thankyou to all the support given in the recent crowdfunding campaign to make this possible. I wouldn't have been able to bring these characters into Omniverse if it wasn't for all of you!

If you can do what you've done so far with whatever budget you work with, I'm sure us fans of your work can't even imagine what you could do with the budget they had for the Mary sue trilogy.
Thrawn trilogy is and always will be the quintessential EU trilogy.
If Disney ever did do the Thrawn trilogy, I hope they would reach out to you for guidance and give you credit to how things could be.
Obviously they should be giving Timothy Zahn alot more public credit than they have been.

I’m a huge fan of Mara Jade. Have been for years, and to see her brought to life like this has been such a treat. That look on her face is 1000% what I’d expect from her there and I love it so much.

I completely understand if not and by no means discrediting you if you decide not to, but if you created the whole trilogy, I would honestly want nothing else from Star Wars ever again (ok maybe that's a slight exaggeration lol). But again, thanks for your work thus far, can't wait to see the next part to the REAL episode 7.

Classic Thrawn Trilogy and then Shadows of the Empire I & II, Dark Empire Trilogy, Dark Forces I & II, Jedi Knight, New Jedi Order and Darth Caedus Legacy of the Force. All the high points of EU! Oh man! One can only hope.

Excellently done, one note though, it was Chen that stunned Luke in the novel as Mara was still on the bridge. Karrde explains this to Luke when elaborating on how Ysalamiri block the Force when they are on Myrkr.

Holy smokes! That was amazing! I love the shots of Luke in the X-Wing and then his conversation but two things that really shocked me: one was that the cockpit shot of the underside of the Wild Karrde because it felt like those close-ups of like 80s and 90s scifi films and was incredibly immersive. and two was how good mara jade looks, like she looks like she walked right out of a comic book or her CCG depiction. and i love those goggles!

That close up came out even better than I expected it to. It gives you a sense of scale for how big the Wild Karrde is.
And I didn't do the fall, I wouldn't want to break the suit!
Pretty cool stuff! Though I'd quibble with Mara having an Ysalimir on her shoulder, since Luke can feel her thoughts. But as an adaptational choice, this is not a horrible one. Her expression was pretty great at the end!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure in the book Mara's in a different part of the ship during this whole exchange and one of Karrde's other crewmembers had the Ysalamir and the pistol. Still, can't complain too much :)

I’ve just started reading these sequels(I know I’m late to the party), though I’m a long time fan of the franchise and I’ve only gotten about here in the story but I just wanted to tell you to keep going and that you’re doing an amazing job! And so are all the voice team too! I’m blown away by how good the story is and I’m doubly blown away by how amazing your animations are!
I genuinely hope you complete the whole trilogy, as I’m going to be reading it and experiencing it over the next few months or so. I’m looking forward to the rest!

fascinating that you are doing that. I love it! Please keep it up. I love this series, too bad LucasFilm didn't understand this is a story people would have fallen in love with. They should have just hired Timothy Zahn from the outset to work with a couple of the other EU authors to develop their story concepts.

One question: Can you open this up to more voice actors? The one guy who does a lot of the main voices is fantastic, but some of the other voices could be improved. Personally, I'd be happy to contribute my voice to the cause. I'm a stage actor, podcaster, and public speaker, and I also teach acting with a specialty in authentic and effective speaking. I'm sure there are other folks out there who'd also love to contribute in this way.
Yes, do this and you will pull more people in to watch for longer. It will be just like a clip from KOTR at that point. You are approaching mater class filming here my friend.
