The Rebel Alliance has destroyed the Death Star, defeated Darth Vader and the Emperor, and driven the remnants of the old Imperial Starfleet to a distant corner of the galaxy.
Princess Leia and Han Solo are married and expecting Jedi twins. And Luke Skywalker has become the first in a long-awaited line of Jedi Knights.
But thousands of light-years away, the last of the Emperor's warlords has taken command of the shattered Imperial fleet, readied it for war, and pointed it at the fragile heart of the New Republic....

I like the stormtroopers moving as a platoon instead of just one or two rando dudes. Makes it look much more intimidating.
That's the idea, make stormtroopers scary again.
Yes! Their precise matching steps were impressive and daunting.
Lucas took the mooks-can't-aim-nor-be-effective joke waaaaaaay too far. Lucasarts did the same thing. It was funny to me as a kid who was born in 87, watching the films growing up then it just got irritating. Before long I was sick of the Empire's troops being just cannon-fodder.
As a kid, the stormtroopers always seemed scary to me, even when Han was chasing them down through the Death Star. I don’t remember Lucas being the one to make them a joke, at least not as bad as having Darth Vader selling Pepsi and Taco Bell before the ‘90s re-releases. Curious if the kids during the prequel era found the B1 battle droids intimidating at all.

Yes. Also, hope Darth Angelus will do the Plaguis novel at some point, it's easily one of the best star wars novels ever written. And the clone wars arcs that were either released as comics or only as temp animation would be amazing for him to do as well, if he’s allowed to do those of course.

I don't understand why movie producers keep saying that it's not possible to cram an entire book in a movie. Obviously (in most cases), a whole chapter can fit into a video a few minutes long without loosing anything.
Because Disney has destroyed Star Wars. They are lazy & don’t want to put out the content we fans want. Those so-called sequels were atrocious.
Love this. I'll just go ahead and consider this series as Episode VII. :)

Star Wars fan-projects deserve a TON of recognition. Apart from this awesome animated adaptation, just now I am reading the recently finalized fan-novel "Supernatural Encounters: The Trial and Transformation of Arhul Hextrophon". It's the most crazy Lovecraftian sh*t I ever read and a love letter to the entire mythology of the EU
It's always good to see so many creative people making fan versions of their favourite things :D
Actually this is not fan novel, it was meant to be an official EU novel, but it was cancelled due to the canon reboot

Hello there! This was another great video Darth Angelus I was particularly impressed with how it looked when it showed the scout troopers pov while riding the speeder, and the surrounding forest 🌳 area, looked great! And I am already excited for chapter 29!! Keep up the amazing work!

I am stunned, yet again, at the superiority of this story over the Disney garbage.
*Fun fact:* In the comic adaptation, Mara shows a wicked smile of satisfaction and pleasure as she watches Luke hurt his face with the poisonous plants. I think this suggests what kind of "games" they will both practice once they get married 😏
I'll just say Mara enjoys herself in this version too :)

Mara didn't use that plant to really disfigure Luke's face so he wouldn't be recognizable to anyone. I would have expected her to do it. Either that or these particular Stormtroopers and Imperial officer never received a bulletin on Luke Skywalker and what he looked like. They certainly didn't receive one on Han Solo. 🤔
At least we get one more chapter of Luke & Mara interacting. It's gonna be a while before we see it again. Guess I will just have to re watch these over and over lol. Is that imperial officer that blonde woman from Andor?

Cause the resolution and bitrate is very low, CZcams compresses the bitrate even further as well. Why this should be rendered and uploaded in 8K60fps, to mitigate the CZcams bitrate compression, the “cheap” animation, and also look good modern, big 8K TVs.
i always look forward to these. Top quality. Im not sure about the female officer who challenges them though. The empire were very sexist. I loved the hovering speeder bikes
