The Rebel Alliance has destroyed the Death Star, defeated Darth Vader and the Emperor, and driven the remnants of the old Imperial Starfleet to a distant corner of the galaxy.
Princess Leia and Han Solo are married and expecting Jedi twins. And Luke Skywalker has become the first in a long-awaited line of Jedi Knights.
But thousands of light-years away, the last of the Emperor's warlords has taken command of the shattered Imperial fleet, readied it for war, and pointed it at the fragile heart of the New Republic....

This chapter has proven to be quite a challenge, it's longer than most of the others so far plus it needed a lot of new content that we've not seen before, so it took a little longer to finish than expected. However, I can guarantee you won't have to wait quite so long for Chapter 21. Enjoy!

Yes it's a hard shame this channel cant earn enough to make this full time like it deserves. So long between full books (we all nag and hope it was yesterday) but amazing content especially voiced like this takes just the right of time
@@MrJoshcc600 I know it takes time. I've been subscribed for quite awhile. Just saying, after seeing the first few parts (and having read the novels, so I know what happens anyway), I decided I wanted to wait to watch the entire thing at once. Was just commenting to show support and that while I'm not currently watching, he still has my support.

I love old-school Han. More confident. Less weasel-y than in Ep VII. And the HK-droid in the cantina was a great nod to the Old Republic games. Send my profound admiration to the whole team.
Yeah. Disney butchered Han and the entire original cast in the sequel trilogy. Timothy Zahn knew how to write them.
@Autistic Guy with a camera productions It's almost like there's a 35 year gap between VI and VII, and the cast has gone through character changes and new experiences.
@@Double-R-Nothing H2tE was written as a novel series and not a potential sequel trilogy. Different writing and market conditions meant Zhan could tell a different kind of story. One with more nuance in characterization than a 2hour movie can provide. Plus, memories were fresher from IV, V, VI so characterization was important for Zhan to use the characters wisely. This series and other novels were the beginning of the Legends continuity. But look to Splinter of the Mind's Eye as a potential filmable follow-up from IV where it was unknown if Harrison Ford would sign on for EP V at the time it was written. Thus He was written-out of the story.

@@MaraJade91 I’m gonna watch it once the finale drops. I did, however, skip _Ms Marvel_ not out of dislike for the character (I like her in other mediums), but mostly due to waiting for _the Marvels_ and usage of energy rather than just elasticity (thought that was outta character as well as changing her into a mutant instead of an Inhuman).
Amazing job! This chapter easily could’ve been slow or “filler,” but the pacing was great, and I loved all the little details in the scenes-the Loth cat, the server hologram, the character designs for the security guards and Torv. The characters’ blocking and facial expressions continue to impress as well! All I can say is that this is the way.
I did consider cutting this chapter entirely but when I read through it again I thought it would be a lot of fun. The Lothcat was my own addition but it was a great way to test out creature creation and animation.

I remember the explanation from Han Solo trilogy, is basically poker, where carts have a chance to change in your hand.
There are so many variations on the rules for the game. Had to do a lot of research for this chapter :)

Not sure what it is, but this chapter feels a lot more cinematic; the world seems more "lived-in" and the character models interact more naturally. You've really upped your game! Also, was that a Kyle Katarn cameo at 3:24?

The character models are looking better than ever! Small constructive criticism: the film grain is nice, but maybe a bit too intense, for the next episode perhaps dial it back 20% or so?
