NOTE: After I watched my on board boat footage I noticed my hose in the rear came loose from the rudder and I had not reconnected it. That is for cooling the motor and ESC. Thankfully mine was still in good condition, so if you buy one, hook up the dangling hose to the rudder.

You need to hook up the water cooling tube to the rudder ASAP before you burn up the esc and motor
Yup, I had pushed the hose on with my wet fingers then most have knocked it off. Drove the whole vid with it dangling and didn't notice until I re-watched the video (I thought it had fallen off when I crashed it on shore).

At 10:46 you said the "hose" was for sucking out water in the hull...
The motor and esc must have been smoking hot after that run with the cooling line dangling in the air.
Someone with such RC “experience” you didn’t notice the hose wasn’t connected!? 🤦🏻♂️

A close friend of mine was into racing similar boats but they were a lot more expensive. But THAT boat looks like it would be a good starter boat for me. That sure looks like fun Steve. Thank you SO MUCH for reviewing this boat.

You might want a nylon break away rudder screw since you are into beaching them! Your cooling line was not attached to your rudder from the unboxing and was not attached when you got to the lake. Im going out on a limb here...you had no clue about water cooling in boats. Keep an eye on the water outlet when you run. These will start on fire if you lose your cooling. Thanks again for all the super fun videos!

Awesome video. I have got this boat too as thought it was a bargain for the price. But as others have said you need to connect the water cooling tube...
I like the different battery options- it’s not always pertinent to be going full chuff the whole time and it can be very noisy for others
I fpv my boats and cruising around a beautiful spot can be as awesome as turning and burning around the place 👍

The hose is actually used for a cooling system and it should be connected to the back of the rudder

You need to lower the trim tabs. Hence the wipeouts. Also, lower the turn fins down to basically a 90 degree angle.

Great vid. After you put the cooling tube on the rudder (the aluminum setup) where is it pulling the water from. Dont see no other holes on the rubber. Never mind. Found it 😩

I just noticed that the hose which sends freshwater to cool your ESC and Motor is just hanging loose. Its normally connected to that brass nozzle on top of the rudder or your Motor n ESC will burn up.
Yes, there about 100 comments saying the same thing. The rubber had split and the house would not stay in place so I let it flip around the entire video

I just know a bit about these batteries like 4S is much powerful than 2S and not much more.
It performs very well and there is no doubt that it is fast...
I want to buy it but If I buy it, I cannot use it regularly as there is not a lake or a beach nearby...

Friend, you should have plug that water tubing into the rudder, for the water to get in to cool down the ESC N MOTOR I side the hull

that hose thats hangs out the back hooks to the steering it forces water trew the hoce aroung ur esc and motor to cool it
What camera have you got fitted on the boat and how?
I probably used an INSTA360 GO camera and stuck it on with double sided tape.

Looks a cracking boat and hell it's fast does the rubber tubing on the rear fit onto the rudder to pick up water for cooling the ESC hope this is available in the UK 🇬🇧 I've got a genesis offshore powerboat that runs on two 4s lipos and is amazing cracking video as usual keep safe out there from joff in the UK 🇬🇧

I had this boat but it's being abandoned by me. As its waterproof feature was definitely hopeless.and the server & motor always damaged by water after a full throttle run. Also due to the compartment location of the battery. The boat always lost balance of its weight and always slighten to one side.
Hi all you need to do is just use insulation tape to seal the lid then no water gets.

Yup, I knock it off at the start and did not remember to push it back in place.
That hose needs to be attached to the rudder…it is the cooling hose for the electronics

Any maintenance required - and If so…. What do you need ?
Eventually you may have to grease the shaft of the prop or replace the prop if you hit something. Hobby stores can help you out.
