Well he said that a friend told him BTS wanted to collaborate. I don't know if it's ever been confirmed if BTS reached out to them or if they just happened to mention it in an interview. (Because BTS did mention it in an interview)

No.. They just mentioned it in interviews when they were asked who they want to collaborate with.. Chris's friend got to know about it and told him and then he decided to do it..
MR. SON you are sooo lucky that you get to live your life doing what you love which means you are living your life to the fullest. Never think you are not good enough and keep on doing what you love.
Fame and fortune doesn't mean anything if you gain it at the expense of your soul also with fame you also have to give up on a lot of things remember "Shadow" by Suga.
Jhope once said "if I wouldn't enjoy my job it would show" and that's soo true. Even when BTS were not as famous as now and really stressed with their busy schedules and pressure and all the haters they always worked with passion on their music. You can see in all their vlogs and clips that they always enjoyed music no matter what the situation was. I think if you also enjoy just the fact that you are working in the field that is your passion it will make you feel a lot better despite all pressures & stress.

Btw, I didn't understand what you meant by not live, that "it's AR". From what I've seen this is all live, Jungkook also tends to sound exactly like the recording and even better. You can watch "Jungkook singing on vlive by Ida S". Will show you how JK actually sounds even better than recording, he is always on pitch!

Chris being so impressed by Jungkook speaks volumes, a lot of the producers who have worked with BTS and Jungkook individually has praised him and his musicality, his voice, his singing skills and more. Like Jenna Andrews, SleepDeez, Jinbo, DJ Swivel to name some. (My Universe is a great song, I really like how bright and uplifiting it is. BTS are my universe 💜 and this documentary is really insightful ✨).

I love how Chris Martin did doubling in Korean over Suga’s rap part! It really shows the joint effort from both BTS and Coldplay with BTS learning verses in English and Chris learning verses in Korean. They really poured so much effort into this song 💗
18개월 전 하이브가 콜드플레이에게 제안했고, 그때는 크리스 마틴이 "뭘 할 수 있지?"했는데, 올해 어떤 멜로디를 듣자말자 BTS랑 할 수 있겠다는 생각이 들어 직접 가지고 오기로 한 거래요.
정확히는 콜드플레이가 먼저 제안한게 맞아요 ^^ 태형이가 예전 인터뷰에서 콜라보 하고 싶은 아티스트를 묻는 질문에 콜드플레이를 언급했었고, 그 내용을 누군가 콜드플레이에게 전해줬다고해요~ 이후 콜드플레이가 my universe 를 만들며 bts와 함께 부르고 싶다는 강력한 의지를 보였다고합니다 ~!

Exactly, there have been musicians who had excellent technical skills, but there was no heart or soul in their performance. BTS and Coldplay's music is full of everything of themselves that they put into it.

I believe you guys will reach your goals and dreams too Someday. I know it might sound cliché, but I'm saying this from the heart. You guys are also passionate and respectful too which is admirable and something you won't see alot with musicians/Artists in this field. So I can only wish you both success and to prosper in the future. With the right attitude and mindset, I truly believe you guys will get there. Continue striving. Just like how BTS and Coldplay manners in the music industry and how they portray it (been a Coldplay fan for a long time by the way...) They show the world that as corrupted and toxic the Music industry can be, You as a person and artists, you don't need to be Corrupted and Toxic or Big-headed egoistic person to survive it and actually make it through success. That though it may not be the easiest choice, though it may not be what most Musician would choose, It's okay to be a Musician and be genuinely a good person at the same time. Most people has this misconception that Because the industry is competitive and rough, they though they need to Bandwagon and flow along it like how everyone does.... that they need to display Arrogance, Superiority, be Competitive in a toxic way like "I'm the Best, You're all nothing compared to me!" Kind of mentality. Which makes it toxic and reason why most of the other artists careers ends... they let fame get in their heads while some flexes unnecessarily. and By that, I mean trying to display superiority on their songs and MV too much that they end up just doing that the entire time... shoving all these Glitz and glam life on their mouths, more than they can chew. Confidence becoming nothing but Pride and arrogance, which has NEVER been a good trait to come by whether you aspire to be an artists/celebs/Public figure or even as a normal person. "Easy come, easy go" as they say. But anyways, I Hope You guys can reach your goals too. I can tell you guys have been working hard. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Stay humble and awesome and, Best of luck! ^^

Jin인데, 빅히트는 jin을 마이 유니버스 파트에 거의 배분하지않는 차별을 저질렀을 뿐더러 멤버누구도 그에대해 문제를 인식하는 사람이 없음
대표인 rm은 파트불공정에 대해서 전혀 문제의식없다는게 문제임.
더구나 콜플협업의 주인공인 진의 공적에대해 아무도 언급해주지도 않았음.
그러니 콜플 협업이 끝난후 크리스마틴이 jin에게 기타를 선물하고 특별한감정을 갖는것은 아마도 그 미안함을표현한것일것 .
