Since you are dealing with a relatively small space, when you start to furnish it think about floating shelves instead of boxed in cabinets. Also furniture that has legs where you can see underneath it. Modern, reflective furniture will give you a more roomy feel. You are making great progress and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Best to all!

Fiberglass door that you can paint any color you want would be my choice. They don't rot or require the maintenance that a wooden door requires.

Oh the house with all the windows in is great, now all dried in. Oh your son looked so adorable on the tractor and daughter was so adorable in the Princess dress. I love the kitchen window over the sink and you need the storage space. Now you have lots of nice storage space too. Its beautiful a light and bright cabin that is sparcely furnished it will all make sense and not as small as you think.

You have such a sweet family. I can tell because of the way your little girl behaves. She is helpful, enthusiastic, gentle with brother. All these things are the things you've taught her, but also, that she has observed from you both. Your little boy has eyes like Spencer. Both of the children are beautiful, I'm not being polite, I really mean they are beautiful.

The first thing I ever drove was my Grandpa's lawn mower. For years he would drive me around on his lap around his property in Iowa. I'm happy I still have some of those memories.

I liked the lichen lesson. My high school biology teacher made us do a moss and lichen collection (as well as insect). She lived to be 104!
With the green and black combo of colors on 'cabin', my suggestion for the door color is you can go two ways. Blend in color, so black or your green. Or you can go in opposite direction and find a contrast color. Off white, red, coral or yellow.
