- In this video we look at strong vs weak bases and how they dissociate in water. Strong bases will fully dissociate (completely separate into cations and anions) while weak bases will have only a little dissociation.
This means that solutions with strong bases are strong electrolytes because there are a lot of ions in the solution. Weak bases are weak electrolytes.

I love how you presented this. Clear and concise without a lot of nonsense and distracting music! I was wondering why we call them "strong" bases? To me strong implies that it would want to remain and stay a base and be difficult to disassociate but it is the opposite. Thank you for the perfect video!
