Excellent video fams. I've been wanting to downsize my case to something a bit smaller and this looks like the perfect option. ETA for preorders in Australia is early April. Looks like i'll be treating myself for my bday month then.
I said it before and I will say it again. You are the best at showing new cases and motherboards. I think every company should pay you to demonstrate their new products assembly and disassembly. O one more thing.. really nice back drop.. it looks awesome. Put kitty at the end of every video..

Sweet build. XT Case looks like great value and is similar to the Montech Sky Two [4 fans - 3 are reverse fans].

mate those custom cable mod cables are sick, did you just use the custom configurator on their website to make them? sadly in New Zealand I can't get the CPU cooler or PSU you have so have to use alternatives that aren't as nice :(

I just got this case and the struggle I'm having is the reconnection of the fans.
I don't have the best memory, so when I had reversed the two fans in the back, I could not recall which connectors to put back.
My one complaint is the lack of instructions on this, even if Phantek may not anticipated people doing this, maybe someone wants to put it elsewhere or add more.
I'm not tech savvy, so having those steps would help. Currently my build is on hold until I can find the answer 😭

Looks similar to the upcoming antec cx200m. Can you do a review of that too? These style of cases is moving so fast.

I agree 100% about the brightness of the fans, there should be an additional button to control that. Also, I would have like to seen rubber grommets for the cutouts but other than that this is a solid case. I already ordered an NV5 with the d30 fans, that case is just a beaut. But i can definitely see the value in this one for a more affordable option.

Yo, I have the problem that the daisy chain from the Casefans for the RGB just don't work...idk what I'm doing wrong but it don't work when I connect the case cables with "their self" and when I connect it with the MB
14:55 omg… I agree 100% with this. Had this problem with the P360A & now my NV5. RGB is way too bright. I plugged in the light bar cables to my fans RGB cables so I could adjust the brightness of it.

It will make quite a large difference depending on your GPU.

I'm gonna tell you how I watch CZcams videos. I check my subscription feed. I put what I want to watch on a watch list. This video made it to the default watch list CZcams has. I then run the CZcams app on my tablet, and go to full screen and let the videos play. I'd rather not interact with my tablet from that point so not only do I make it to the end of the video, but I don't come out of full screen unless I have a good reason to. That's how I watch videos on CZcams.
I like that bottom area on this case. Lost of space to let air flow upward.

I just ordered the Phanteks XT View! I've had the cases with the back psu because they have the air cooler clearance I need, but they're just too big 🙄 The official site says the air cooler clearance is 184mm (I have a Noctua DH15) so we'll see if it's a hit or a miss. I'll update this comment 👍🏻

What daw do you use for beats?
I got my xt pro ultra a week ago and love it. Easy to build in, plenty of space for psu+cables and hdd rack. The front panel connectors are unified so you don't have to figure which cable to which pin.
How is the fan noise
So far so good. Noticeable, but not a distraction, at all. Very uniform sound between the 4. It almost sounds like 1 big fan. I don't have a meter so can't say exactly, but I'm very happy with the sound. With headphones on, I forget they're even there. I'm still VERY happy with this case.@@kartikay9276

What I love about Phanteks cases is that they do things that midtowers aren't normally capable of, like fitting 140mm fans in intake positions. What stops me from buying them, are that they don't give an intercontinental f**k about providing a good amount of cable management space. I tried building in the NV7 and my god, the amount amount of space between the backplate of the motherboard and the side panel isn't nearly enough to accommodate one fan or RGB controller plus custom cable extensions, let alone two or more controllers, like if you decided to populate the case with SWAFAN's. Until they release an NV7 that is true dual chamber, they'll get nadda from me!
Yep...found this out the hard way trying to use regular ARGB fans in mine. It was such nightmare I had to end up switching all out for D30 fans.

Another point I wanna raise that might be a good feedback: for cases like these people usually gonna put them on the desk right next to the monitor etc to display the PC. Putting the front IO at the top would be unfavorable since people then need to stand up to plug instead of just using them while sitting. There are cases that have similar layout like this but with front io at the bottom of the case - making them more accessible.

Fans right under the GPU is a much better option than the NV5. Unless using a very long GPU, the bottom fan on the NV5 is almost useless.

@@GearSeekers Yeah I did watch it. Upto 360mm, but that doesn't aways mean it'll fit a 280mm. Could be 240mm/360mm.

But like I said that doesn't always mean it'll fit every radiator size upto 360mm.. One other case I know off also claims the same, but it'll only fit a 120/240/360mm radiator and not a 280mm radiator. This CZcamsrs just an arse. Could have just answered the question rather than be a dick.
