Great job , thank you for your support , you got my car fixed 👌👍
No problem 👍 glad u did it urself
Thank you, this process worked out for my 2012 Accord
Nice good job!!
Guy tried at the shop told me it was a 400$ job 200$ for labor and 200$ for the part “valve” guess he was full of shit
Yeah he is. U have the same code?
Thank you! It worked on my 2013 honda accord sport
Welcome
I had the same issue on my Honda . I bought the launch x431 elite scan tool. It’s for Hondas specifically $179 I got it on sale on Amazon $120 . There’s a throttle pcm/ecm reset on it . I used that and idled the car for 10 minutes and I’m no longer having that issue. I hope that helps someone . I cleaned the throttle body before and that alone didn’t do the job
Nice good job
The throttle body cleaning is what caused this issue on my 2017 Ridgeline. I've tried the procedure described here 3x and idle is still hovering around 1000. Prior to the throttle body cleaning it was normally around 600-700RPM. I may have to buy that same scanner you bought if it doesn't come down after a few more days.
@@map7463 u can disconnect the battery for 19 minutes maybe it will reset it self and then let it idle till it gets hot make sure everything is off and then let it run till radiator fans run several times while it’s sitting there idling
I am a follower of you and I would like to know where you are located to take my 2013 honda accord
I’m Bayonne nj. Ru local ?
Worked on my 09, I think the people on here saying it didn’t work is because they probably got the code but not from cleaning the throttle

Hi! is it any coolant temperature will do before hold it 3000rpm ? even it already over 90 ?😄
What u mean
@RBTheMechanic is it need to do when cold start, or any coolant temperature, if any coolant temperature ,if the coolant temperature already over 90, what I need to do ?
@@alanw5812 need to get the temp up to operating tem the guage needle halfway
2010 honda accord ex coupe, I removed throttle body but no iac valve. Does 2010 honda accord ex coupe not have an iac valve? I have code p0507 with a new burning smell
The throttle is electrical so it works like iac
@@RBTheMechanic so for code p0507 I would need to replace throttle body?
Sounds like you may have an EGR issue buddy
Before consider new TB, check/verify the following possible causes for P0507:
Dirty throttle body
Electric throttle control actuator misadjusted or damaged
Faulty Electric throttle control actuator
Intake air leak
Poor electrical connection to the Intake Air Control (IAC) valve
how long does engine have to run at 3000RPM before switching to idle?
Ur only warming it up I would just let it idle normal get it to operating temp
Run it at 3000 rpm is to speed up the engine warming up. Once the fan started it mean the engine resch the target temperature.
Let it idle for 5 minutes like was ge said in the video for idle relearn process.
What can I do for my 2005 Honda Accord 4 cylinder that has the same code?
Idle relearn !!
Clean the theottle body, clear the code and do the relearn process
Im dealing with this right now, after new aftermarket valve cover, spark plugs and throttle cleaning. Engine runs at 900 for 1 min, then goes to 1100 and sets code when i try to do the procedure. I have the same scanner
Do idle relearn
@RBTheMechanic I've been trying, just now I disconnected pcv hose and blocked it off. Idle dropped to 720 and went into idle learn. I'm going to get a factory intake
@@FtWChevyTruck huh ? Bad pcv valve u can block that valve it will destroy other things
@RBTheMechanic It's a new OEM valve. I tried the old one too. I pinched off the hose to it, and idle dropped to 720 rpm and idle relearn status went from incomplete to learning. I suspect the aftermarket valve cover, I'm going to put a factory valve cover on tomorrow
@@FtWChevyTruck yeah prolly the cover
How to replace a engin coolant temperature sensor in a mitsubishi eclipse 2.4l 07
It’s on the block
@@RBTheMechanic it has two sensors i
@@crossoutps5_andrapfreestyler on the block is one correct?
@@RBTheMechanic where in the block its the block the motor where the pistons are
@@crossoutps5_andrapfreestyler the whole block assembly is what I mean by block
you never showed you cleaning the throttle body
That was the prior video
But here’s another one I did czcams.com/video/FqJngRCAwa0/video.htmlsi=wmrNS1MpSZvH3Frt
Totally does not work. Cant even grt the idle to hold at 3000.
Hold idle at 3k that’s not idle u have to release to become idle
Holding the engine speed at 3000 RPM IN N or P, not idling at 3000 RPM.
Cars more sensor, more trouble, with aircraft that's okay,so stupid things
Yeah
I just cleaned my throttle body and after i get the code P0107 . The rpm goes up and down by itself . I dont know what to do .
Honda crv 2014
Same process if u don’t have scan tool just disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then turn all accessories off lights wiper radio ac all off and do the same process it should work if it dosent first time try again
@@RBTheMechanic After 10 do I start the car and turn off everything?
Thanks for replying
@@mahammudtalha2696 yup ur doing the same thing I did just not the scan tool part. So start the car and let it just idle there with every thing off but get it to operating temp I did show but my car was already at operating temp
Do I still have to do this if I got scan tool? Or can I just reset the throttle position sensor code?
@@hollaturboy6693 Hey, did this work for you?
