I ran into Sir Paul McCartney at a road side fruit stand in Malibu, California. He had no "bodyguards or entourage" with him. Just "a guy buying some fruit".... oh and A LIVING ROCK GOD. Super cool and down-to-earth is a massive understatement. I have yet to see him live. OMG. I was so star struck I didn't even ask for an autograph, just talked with him like it was no big deal. It WAS a BIG deal for me, I will never forget it. What you see is what you get when you see this truly humble amazing Mega-star. I consider Paul McCartney the JS Bach of the 20th Century. What a CLASSIC GENTLEMAN and awesome human-being.

T Rohan- same thing happened to me 10-3-2003 in Oxford Street, London (at Newman Street crossing). Talk about perfect time, perfect place. Despite the crowd, no one really noticed who was in their/our midst. I sure did- jackpot city!. Woah! Congratulations!

He and Nancy took a car trip across America. Is that when you seen him? He also stopped in Illinois getting gas and a few guys seen him there under the same circumstances. I use to go to that station a lot. Right off the interstate but not there then. Wish I had been.

IMHO this was the best time to be alive. Wings were insanely good, and there was loads of amazing music to be heard playing on the radio. So many great singer/songwriters and super talented bands in the 1970's (not the disco!) So many artists got their start in the '60's, and came into their own in the 1970's. There's lots of good music now, but there will never be a better era to be a music fan.
    Great times indeed!! 🎶👂❤️💯✌️🥲🍻👍

I saw Paul McCartney and Wings in 1976 late in the year. We had their first record in 75. We liked Band on the Run a lot. He did sing Blackbird sitting on a tall stool in near darkness, quiet except for his acoustic guitar. I can say that I saw one of my favourite musicians, heroes, crushes, songwriter from my favourite band of my life play one of my favourite songs. My dad waited in a que for 3 hours. I think we saw him at a huge venue like the Silverdome in Detroit. I liked Wings because Paul was in a band again, where he seems most fulfilled.

Paul and Linda OWNED the 70's like no other former Beatle did.
Paul and Linda were able to navigate in public so much more adeptly and adroitly than any other of the former Beatles and their wives.
Paul remained true to his former Beatle status and continued delivering music without a political agenda or avant garde spin.
John and Yoko trapped themselves over and over again.
John Lennon seemed to finally get it and began making music for the sake of music again when he was killed.

For the no it all having a go at Linda, yes after Wings broke up, but Paul & Linda continued with another back-up band, they addef another keyboard player, much to linda's relief I think. Linda always played & sang live. Paul was the one who wanted his wife on stage with him, Linda would have been happy staying in the back ground, or taking photos. Give this poor misunderstood woman some respect. RIP Linda, lovely Lady x

But liberal movement, by liberal I mean liberal in american sense, leftists, socialists, political revolucionaries - they used Lennon a lot for their political agenda, that nimrod got carried away for all that bullshits, he was an marionette in the hands of kinds like Saul Alinsky and others worse than him.

Why doesn't Paul and Don Henley form a band, they could call it The Beagles.

I saw Paul McCartney on VH1 here couple years ago and there was about 25 / 30% of the crowd was teenagers from this area. when they show the crowd with the camera everybody was having a good time. I mean a smile on every face in the audience and a smile on every face in the band. long story short Paul McCartney still has it and everybody's loving it. and no that's not David Cassidy. close but no cigar
