- Paul McCartney, Got Back 2023 Tour, Melbourne 21st October. The entire show.
For the geeks:
It was shot on an iPhone 12 Pro. Using the BlackMagic camera app.
Using the 52mm lens.
White balance was locked.
Audio: LPCM
I applied some EQ on the sound. Rolled off a bit of the bottom end and increased the top end. It sounds closer to what I heard on the night.
The audio was shifted forward 6 frames to compensate for the audio delay to match the vision.
Tech issues: The shaky/vibrating image. It seems to stabalise when I stood up on a couple of occasions. But it seems to be in motion with the sound. It was all hand held.
I don't know what was causing the light reflections. I suspect it was either from the inside of the glass or from the adjacent lenses.

Please keep it nice. Not everyone has the same taste in music. You can criticise the camera work, sound, the entertainment value of the concert etc. We can have a discussion/debate/disagreement without using foul language or abusive comments.
I dont think these things should be published. Just keep it for yourself, privately. These things must be done ONLY with an agreement with the artist. This video is just stolen.
@@leonardoiglesias2394 If you are refering to copyrights, yes it is copyrighted by tthe artist. But they do allow it to be published, without monetisation. Which means I cannot make money from it. This was never my intention with this channel. It is purely a means to share my videos for those that wish to view them.
@@tonyv3000 of course. If you do it you sure have perfect reasons to do it. I would forbid recording concerts without the artist knowing that he is being recorded and will be published. But that is Mccartneys work.
😅.😅..😅.😅.
Dumbest argument ever.@@leonardoiglesias2394
Here's a guy who's in his 80's, on stage for hours and hours, giving it his all with a terrific band (each one at the top of their game!) and this bloke is actually a living legend. That phrase is used too easily nowadays...but this man is responsible for writing some of the most popular songs EVER...just think about that! Yes, his voice isn't what it was 40 years ago but just enjoy and get swept away by the experience - once he's gone that's it. I'm a huge Queen fan, saw them a number of times with Fred but I was brought up on The Beatles and when I saw him in Liverpool a few years back I'm not ashamed to say that I shed a few tears....what a performer - and easily the best concert I'd ever been to!!!
Yeah.I am surprised he can stand every night for over three hours, plus rehearsals and all. That is pretty amazing.
Great comment.
❤😊
McCartney still has it, so does ringo
Nearly 40 songs just under 3 hours and 81 years young. Take note singers of today. What a Legend
And yet, he still had more than another 3 hours worth of material to play before hitting the proverbial bottom of the barrel.
81 years... OMG😮❤
And still sounding GREAT!!!!!
@@lowell440not great at all but decent. I'll give him a few years before he retires but he's alright now
Why? We’re you surprised? He didn’t move that much though, as usual. But he did great bass in bite my head off.
@@SargonofQueensYes, because I realize how singing and playing is physically demanding. Especially in his age.
@@Aderin. He sounds GREAT
Got to give him credit for putting together a good band to back him up. A powerhouse drummer and the two guitarists. Plus his steady keyboard player from years ago. This current lineup has been playing about 20 years and they have done a great job.
Macca appears to enjoy playing live unlike Lennon and Harrison who said they were done years ago and wanted to stay home.
Macca knows a band has to play live or it’s over. You’ve got to get that feedback and live interaction.
Macca doesn’t have to play live anywhere. He simply wants to. And I’m grateful for that. He’s kept the Beatles music alive in public.
Thank you Macca!
And thanks to whoever posted this show!
*Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting the entire Melbourne concert* I've waited my entire life to see Paul live and it was the most magical night - and to be able to see it again like this is such a gift. Paul is the stuff of myths and legends. He's brought the world joy through his miraculous music for 60+ years, we will never see his like again ❤
I love your comment .. beautifully said ...
It was an amazing night of genius. I felt the same way.
Thanks for posting this. I was on the floor seating and really want to watch it again. This was an amazing night.
I’ll be seeing him tomorrow night in Brisbane.
81 yrs old and still givin his heart and soul to the audience...We Love ya Paul!
@@rckBR great job!! pays well too lol
Wow ! My father couldn't get up flight of stairs at 65 of age ! And here we are listing to 81 year old Paul, playing with high energy for over 2 hours ! Simply amazing !
I was there with my brother. I flew in from Singapore just for it. My life's dream finally came true!!
So happy for you ...
He did this live concert not for money but for his love of music and his millions of fans around rhe globe .. Love you Sir Paul for your continuous giving us beautiful music that we will cherish forever
Wow! 3 hours?? And he's 81. Unbelievable!
I am a lifelong Beatles fan who was born in 1970 as they were starting their solo careers. I was raised listening to their albums on vinyl. Then I became a musician who performed on bass and vocals as Sir Paul McCartney in bands such as RubberSoul and The British Invaders in Raleigh North Carolina. I named my son Jude when he was born in 2012. I love John Paul George and Ringo and thank them for bringing their beautiful musical creations to the world for many generations to cherish to the end of time across the Universe. And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make ❤ Timeless music for the ages.
Nice. Did u guys ever perform at Beatles Week in Liverpool?
I've been a couple of times and seem to recall a band called Rubber Soul.
81 years , 3 hours incredible
We fans still love Paul and thank him because he continues to perform at his age. C'mon, name another singer who can perform at 81? This guy is a LEGEND.
The only other one is Mick Jagger (and Keith.)
Frankie Valli { 89 }
Neil Diamond
@@hildagonzalez2611that's true that he still tours at 89 but sadly he mimes to his original recordings.... It's been well known he no longer sings on stage.
Colin Blunstone of the Zombies at 78 actually has more range now than in 64
❤😱WHO DOES THAT TODAY ? 3 ++ hours , playing 40 out of the 300 songs The Beatles and He have written ! Keeping the Legacy of the GREATEST BAND EVER Alive and in GREAT HANDS !👍 ❤✌️❤️
Makes the Beach Boys cover band jealous....
I was there! It was my first time seeing Paul live and he was incredible!!!

Well, he did do one costume change...26:39 🤣
OMMMG ! 81 year old who looks 50 can still sing and play well looks good and plays for 3 hours ! SUPER HUMAN
that drummer kills me - fantastic
He definitely stole the moment.
I love Paul as much now as I did back in 1964! Bless 🙏
Thank you very much for posting the concert - even taking the time to time-stamp the songs! Thank you very much!!
You’re welcome.
Yes…love the effort you put into it ❤️👍🏼❤️
He's truly a legend. At 81 he still have it. Thanks for the wndelful music Sir Paul and your band
Seriously unreal that he is doing a 3 hour set at 81. Thats even impressive when your young. They dont make them like this anymore - 21 year old
So true. You’ll see at the end of Live & Let Die, he mocks himself saying it was too loud!😂
The irony that during the Beatles concerts they’d say they couldn’t hear themselves for all the screaming!
He's been doing 3 hours sets for decades! Sadly when first saw The Beatles at the Hammersmith London 1965 they didn't have this much material.... So a "Set" was typically 40 to 50 minutes...
@@alastairmurray3153 The Beatles were only doing 20-25 minute shows in Australia. But the promoter got them dirt cheap at the time. Paul had mentioned it before that it was a bargain deal. They were signed up before they made it big.
Nearly 3 hours at 81 years old wow
that's macca!
So glad I was there. Will never forget. I had high expectations, but they were exceeded.
thanks to the person who made possible to see this show, Paul is an example to follow for people his age and younger
USA
Thanks for the upload, and I appreciate the time stamps. I saw Paul at Parramatta Stadium in 1993, and I think this was the first tour where he started playing Beatles songs again. It is a major highlight of my life, as I never imagined that I would get to hear 18 Beatles songs performed live and be able to sing along to "Hey Jude".
Thanks for posting this! I saw him last year in Boston. What a legend and he has the energy of someone half his age and his voice is great for his age. Try doing this when you're 81!
Insane that he can pull off Maybe I'm Amazed at 81. So badass.
Brilliant, thanks! Great to have a recording of it - helped me to get over my post-concert withdrawal symptoms 😆
I was there!! Paul McCartney at his very best! Thanks for uploading it....I can Re-Live it, again and again!
the love you make! thanks PAUL from JAPAN
I saw Sir Paul a couple years ago in Pennsylvania, and I’d go again tomorrow.‘
he’s inspiring
Thanx great great post...may sir paul carry on for many years to come 😍😍😍
❤ Yes Paul McCartney is a legend very great singer as well
Thank you so much from someone who may never see Paul live. Greetings from Lithuania
I was there and he was fantastic, is a legend and thats why I was there. Yes his voice faltered here and there but thats not a problem, I was there to appreciate his music and song writing and see a legendary Beatle. Thanks Tony for recording the whole thing you rock mate🤘
faltered
attend last year in the US Incredible
@@markiehunter5535Yes that!😮
People not raising their phones, but instead fully immersing themselves in that moment is a true testament of the profound impact Paul's music has brought on poeples lives. But I'm pretty grateful tho for this video!!
I´m going to see him tomorrow in Mexico City. I´m very excited!!!
Thanks so much for sharing. We couldn’t get to the concert, but after watching your video, we feel complete. You did an amazing job, Thank you.
Despite that I have mentioned in the recent past that Paul's voice has gotten pretty bad and I've seen him in concert for my last time, quite a few years ago, I have to admit, this guy still puts on an amazing show. I just looked through the song list only to realize this concert isn't nearly over. I have never in my life seen him perform so many songs in one concert and with so much energy. when he was with the Beatles, which I never got to see, their concerts consisted of no more than 30 songs. When I saw him with Linda and the band in 1993 Off The Ground concert, and again with his amazing backup band in 2002 in the Driving Rain concert he did about 40 songs I think. 81 years old and he did at least 50 songs here? AMAZING!
It is totally different from the Beatles days. I was only 3 when they came to Australia. But they only performed for about 20-30 minutes back then.
An 80 year old touring and putting on nearly three hour shows. And still sounding pretty good too. Unbelievable.
Thanks so very much. We attended one of the Sydney concerts and couldn't see a thing because of people standing up. It was wonderful to see the stage, screens, pyrotechnics etc. So once again thanks very much.
How many musicians can sell out any venue almost 60 years after their band got together? The man is a solid gold legend ! 😮
Lots….Neil Diamond..Rolling Stones…just to name a few….
The show is nothing but exceptional, the band top class, Paul McCartney is a legend to perform for 3 hours non stop. ❤
@@rogerthat.9105Neil retired from touring in 2018. There are others besides Paul and Stones but the number is dwindling.
@@rogerthat.9105like Neil Diamond but no way, not even in America alone
Far as IM concerned, THIS BEATS ANY swiftie 🙉 crap 😉😉🤗🤗🤗😍😚😏🙄
Muchas gracias por grabar el Concierto y ponerlo en youtube ❤🎼🎹🎸
The real music, the real feel, the people who is truly a great fan of rock n roll and the beatles, they will still go to see the aged legend and feel the same forever. This is where the example lies in.
Se viene para México, lo vi en el año 1993 en la ciudad de México, tenía 15 años. Lo vi en el estadio Azteca. Los escuchaba a mis cinco años sin entender inglés. Son y serán el mejor grupo
What an awesome show. Paul was great. A concert i will never forget.
Hello from bali

Great show. Thanks for sharing this great concert. Paul is great 🥇🎤🇫🇮
I’m seeing him this Saturday night at heritage stadium Gold Coast, super excited, thanks for posting so I can have a taste of what to expect , it’s going to be epic!!
I don't know where it's being held, but if it's outdoor, Live and Let Die should be epic.
Thanks for posting! ❤
Tony V
Thankyou
I unfortunately couldn't get there to see him so this is the next best thing
😀
Thanks Paul, your concert has caused me to revisit Wings and Beatles from their beginning, what legends, still able to appreciate their music all the way from the 60's. 😊 LEGENDS 🎼 🥁 🎸 🎹 🎤
Thank you so very very much
Being able to relive 3 of the happiest hours ever.
Let Me Roll It 🥰
❤love watching you.
Nice work there Tony! Great tribute to George with Something, such a fantastic song.
Sir Paul is a great man ❤!!!!
I saw him in Brisbane! What a legend ✌️
Thanks so much for recording & posting this!
Thanks for posting. I saw him with Wings in about 1973 at the Music Bowl. That was fantastic
You’re welcome. It was a great night!
That Wings concert video is also floating about in YT.
Tony, thank you so very much for this !!!
Thanks!!
it is scary how good this sounds. thank you so much.
Thankyou. Though I have tweaked the sound.
Oh Please! I love him, but his voice is gone.
Long time to Sir Paul McCartney
God bless you, Paul
Amazing effort to record the whole show and post it
It was a fine balance of watching the show and keeping an eye on the phone! 😂
Your arm must have started to ache...I can barely last 4 minutes
@@jamesr3322I was fortunate that those in front sat for most of the time.
Que perfeição!!!! Obrigada pelo vídeo ❤não vejo a hora de ver de perto aqui em são Paulo dia 09/12/23❤️❤️
He's a living legend since 1963!
You mean 1942
William became famous in 1966 when he "joined The Beatles as an already set up affair".
He should consider tuning everything down just a half-step. Night not pack the same punch on some songs but it could save his voice a bit & he'd feel more comfortable.
thank you Tony for upload ❤
Тони молодец
Godbless sir paul goodhealth longlife 😊❤
Wonderful our super legend. keep going forever lead we are the world
Ansioso para ver isso pessoalmente, aqui no Rio de Janeiro, no dia 16 de dezembro.
eu em bh dia 3
Fui ayer en mexico y tambien voy hoy. Vale cada centavo!!!
Em BH dia 3 🙂
Vou ver em Brasília
I was there with my mum in all her nearly 60 years of living she never thought she would ever be able to see a Beatle live it was an absolutely amazing experience
There was an elderely lady being assisted down the stairs and I wondered if she was there in 1964 screaming her lungs out!
Thank you for sharing, just Amazing
incredible concert that I saw in Melbourne in 2017. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it this time. Luv ya Paul.
I couldn't make the 2017 show...!
Thank you so much for this. It's amazing getting to watch this back without having to picture it in my mind! It was such a beautiful show❤
People can say what they want about how terrible he sounds now but he still looks great and plenty for 81.
Increíble, el mejor de los mejores. 81años y canta, toca y permanece arriba más de 3 horas.
Y su música, la mejor entre las mejores.
Larga vida!
Larga vida...al Rey
I was sitting next to Tony V. He was seat 49 I was seat 50! Thank you for putting this up Tony V.
Were you the couple on my right?
Thank you for the video. Did you hand hold the I phone or whatever you used? Wondering how you kept from being harassed by the ushers and what not. thank you@@tonyv3000
Thx a lot
Бесконечное уважение маэстро! Три часа на сцене в таком возрасте это фантастика!!!
Thanks again Tony. Cant help revisiting this post over and over. 👍👏🎸🎶🎵🎤
Thanks for sharing
Musically sounds pretty good for live. Unfortunately, Paul's voice can no longer reproduce his dynamic range from his younger years. But whoa, performing at 81 is fantastic. He's a legend and I"m thankful he's still active. I saw him in Brisbane in the 70's when Wings were pretty much at the top of their game.
nah for real he sounds great for his age but for his benefit I think he should down tune his songs slightly maybe by a half or whole step would make those notes a LOT easier to hit. still not bad by any means just some of the songs with higher notes it will be hard to hit for most people on a good day (hell i'm 19 and can't hit half the notes he can at 81)
saw him 3 times live in my life, still love to see him when he is 85..a true legend and musical genius
I really hope Paul comes to Houston or at least to Texas. I know a lot of the songs played here such as “New” which is a personal favorite and underrated
Thanks for your sacrifice Tony V
He’s amazing ❤❤❤
Sehat selalu om Paul.. God Bless you..🎉🎉
Thanks for posting the concert. I wasn't able to go this year, so it's great to see it all.
Thanks Tony, great show!
Thanks. Great work. And good gig from our Paul.
