Thanks for watching, what wrestler should we cover in the next video? Also, make sure to drop a like to help get the video picked up by CZcams’s algorithm 💪🏻👊🏻🤘🏻👍🏻
AJ Styles
Please Please Do Kofi Kingston
The Common Man... Dusty. Nuf said
Thanks for the amazing videos, the next wrestler should be of Andre, the Giant.
Oh crap... Lady Beard!!!
DDP saved a lot of lives with his yoga. A true example of the expression "Not all heroes wear capes."
Agreed. Incredible man, both in and out of the ring.
Overachiever, indeed, but the kind of one that the world needs more of right now
which country are you from bruh?
This is why I love wrestlers from WCW and WWF. When they were and still are awesome
Why didn't he help Benoit
DDP :
As a wrestler
As a trainer
Perfect diamond
That's my dude. Absolute national treasure
One of my all time faves
Major respect for him coming in as a late bloomer and for all the people he helped after his in ring career. Especially jake roberts, he never forgot the help jake gave him and he returned the favor big time. DDP is definitely a peoples champ.
Lies again? Rude education
Jake and Scott Hall both are alive today because of DDP nobody can change my mind
Facts, it was pretty hard to do it back then and damn near impossible to do it now these days….unless you’re an established legend you ain’t gettin a shot anywhere….I shoulda went to wrestling school instead of chasing kewchi around in my teens and 20’s 😌
DDP had such an amazing career. Its criminal how mismanaged the WWE were with him.
Both he and Sting were WCW in my mind and WWE buried both.
Why did he get such a stupid angle being the guy who stalked the undertaker's wife
They could've brought him in later after the invasion but no they screwed it up
Sting should've had a program with the undertaker but instead got screwed by HHH and his ego
Same with Scott Steiner and HHH it was an angle to bury him to
I have always thought that the WWE did it intentionally, to wipe out what was left of the WCW legacy!
@@The9Good Duh. That's plainly obvious.
Coincidentally though, the "Positively Page" gimmick was his idea. He wanted his shit-eating grin to be akin to vintage toothpaste commercials, complete with ~ding~ sound effect, something that Adam Blampied/Plumpy actually adopted as part of WhatCulture ("And I do it because I'm a smart-ass" ~ding~) before he left the Wrestling CZcams scene amid scandal, only to return as part of the WrestleTalk team.
Did Sting go to WWF after WCW was bought out? I don't remember seeing him there?
@@CurlyFromTheSwirly He went to WWE for a brief period, long after WCW ended. I can't remember what year it was but he got injured in a match with Seth Rollins.
"Diamond" is not only his moniker. It's what he is, both in the ring & outside of it. Truly lived up to his name & more. The kind of overachiever that the world desperately needs more of, especially during these times.
Lmao at your name and picture
The man has a heart to help people come back from the brink. If the world could have the same attitude we might he in a much different place.
Kinda wish WWE had let him go full on face, and we could have had that DDP vs Rock dream match: WCWs People’s Champion vs WWF’s People’s Champions
@Meta Man That entire gimmick was DDP's idea though, since it was closer to his real-life nice guy personality. In his "That's not a bad thing, it's a good thing" promos, DDP even wanted to use a _ping_ sound effect whenever he smiled, reminiscent of vintage toothpaste commercials & later, actually picked up by Adam "Plumpy" Blampied when doing his "And I can do it better, because I'm a smart-ass!" ~ _ping_ sound effect ~ introductions for his "How [Insert Wrestling Company Here] Should've Booked/Should Book" discussions pertaining to wrestling characters, storylines & even how he's felt certain performers ought to have retired (in contrast to the unsatisfactory way many in the industry do tend to walk away just to come back because they simply can't let go of the business & become normal people again once their time in the spotlight inevitably fades), which he's done for CZcams wrestling fan channels WhatCulture, Cultaholic & WrestleTalk, respectively.
Goldberg was the PEOPLE'S CHAMP
@@playboyrah5241 Over the period of 12 months Goldberg had won the US and World Title and the people had got behind him, but at no time was he the "People's champ".
DDP had been building his career and struggling for YEARS and with time had earned the title of the People's Champion, it was never given to him like Goldberg was. You'd know this if you were there.
@@ConnieLynchitzWhoElse Goldberg was BIGGER THAN LIFE COMPARED TO DDP!! DDP Had the LOOKS though
@@ConnieLynchitzWhoElse I was there… Goldberg was Over immediately he def wasn’t the ppls champ he was just the person we thought could end NWO we looked at him as an unstoppable force tbh DDP got some of the best mic skills ever you can’t be considered the people’s champ if you not nice on the mic don’t get me wrong Goldberg was arguably one of the best to come outta WCW along with sting but DDP was cold man highly slept on
I’m a grown ass man, and I still look to DDP as a hero and a role model. I volunteer helping men in sober livings and halfway houses get their lives back on track. I teach Win Hof breath work and DDP yoga to teach mindfulness, and it makes you feel good. With a receptive mindset it really works magic.
Blows my mind that he started at 35, Here I am at 34 thinking its too late in life to start new anywhere. Big inspiration!!
Prime WCW DDP is absolutely legendary wrestling, and what he’s done outside the ring even goes past that. 💎
The guy saved his friends lives. They don't call him a "Diamond" for nothing!
Jake the Snake Roberts is still alive, because of DDP. now that is a best friend for life.
Great guy. Had a chance to meet him down here in Georgia. Felt like I was talking to someone I used to work with or former classmate. That's how easy going he was.
Eewr
This guy is a legend for starting to wrestle at 35, usually people would sometimes retire at 35 and that is like the last few years before you lose your prime
DDP is a dedicated legend
Believe it or not, DDP used to have reservations because he thought that the stigma of his friendship with Eric Bischoff would overshadow his career. It couldn't be less true by the end of his career. Page helped everyone in and out of the ring, and helped give breaks to people like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, even helping to get Hall and Jake Roberts in super great mindsets decades later. When all is said and done, DDP is one of the best people to ever bring his presence to the wrestling business.
And that's the cool thing about DDP is he didn't get involved in the backstage politics because he was close to guys like Eric Bischoff, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash but he wanted to do it the right way and he was able to get to the main event scene in WCW
@@thecharmcityplayerbrandona8827 and the feud with The Undertaker is the cause of DDP'S push
I have some suggestions!
1) “Nature Boy” The Ric Flair Story.
2) “Rest In Peace” The Undertaker Story.
3) “If You Smeeeeelll” The Rock Story
4) “Hitman” The Bret Hart Story.

8) “Wrestling God” The JBL Story
9) “Here Comes the Money” The Shane McMahon Story

The nature boy or undertaker might be 2 parters
"The Original Gangsta" The New Jack Story

Would like to see Chris Benoit story
The original nature boy buddy rodgers, needs his story told.
He is a true legend in terms of health
I got to meet DDP back in 98 when WCW came through town and even at 10 years old I could tell he was genuinely an awesome person and I’m glad I got the chance to meet him
Thank GOD for DDP. His presence in the wrestling industry will only grow over time as more and more careers and lives are saved by his work and efforts.
An absolute class act. He's done it all (being great in and out of the ring) and he can reflect on that. A true gentleman of the industry.
Damn, so DDP was already the man before he even got into the wrestling business.
one of my all time faves, dude has charisma
Idk why but the first time I saw DDP on television in wcw in the late 90s I became a huge fan of his!!!
When I was young Diamond Cutter was one of the coolest moves my young eyes had ever since. DIAMOOOOND CUTTEEER!
God bless this guy.He helped a lot of people.May God bless him and his family
One of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Nobody threw the cutter like him. Best match I ever seen was him and Sting at Nitro. They blew the roof off that arena!
THANK YOU!!! I was never a wcw fan growing up but seeing his work in rehabbing people makes me a huge fan
Appreciate your work👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome individual. Giving back to those who helped him. One can’t help but to tag him a true hero.
Putting the world television title on DDP is something that's not talked about enough this was HUGE for both DDP and WCW..
One of my favorite wrestlers that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
It’s Him It’s Him It’s Wrestling With Andy About DDP and you never saw it coming (Pun Intended)
👊🏻✊🏻👍🏻🤟🏻💪🏻🤙🏻
@@WRESTLEWITHANDY please do mark henry 🙏please 🙏 please 🙏 I been ask for it 3 months
One of my all-time favorite wrestlers. DDP is the man!
I’ve been waiting for this one, great story! We need a Dusty Rhodes one please!!!
One of the most underrated guys ever in wrestling, love this guy.
The more I learn of him and who he is, gotta love the guy man.
That DDP he dropped on Eddie Guerrero is still one of the best finishes I have seen. Damn
The best Diamond Cutter ever. put him in a powerbomb position lift him up on his shoulder like he was about to powerbomb him and then Twisted him around into The Diamond Cutter best s*** ever.👐🙌
@@Ttw1976 I don't know about that. The Jackhammer into Diamond Cutter was something else, as well.
@@TherealRNOwwfpooh no way Eddie Guerrero Diamond Cutter Takes the Cake
Thank you for the Vid. I always looked at DDP as the guy who never let his age prevent him from doing other things.
Been waiting for this one. Thanks!!!
I fell out of love with wrestling after the monday nights wars and the attitude era. Around age 11 or 12. But from time to time i find myself coming back to watch stuff like this
DDP was/is my all time favorite! #selfhighfive
I was wondering when DDP was gonna show up! So awesome you're making this documentary of such a positively amazing wrestler and person.
Can't wait to see who else you cover, cause that's a good thing when you do.
This channel is gold!💯
15:48 Ready to Rumble released on April 7th, Arquette won the belt on the 26th. Upcoming indeed.
I've dropped 40 lbs and gained so.much strength so far in 6 months of DDPyoga.
Been a fan since I was a Teen BANG
thanks for making this video buddy u are a legend very underrated youtuber. Ddp was one of my favourite wrestlers, amazing video. Pls aj styles next
DDP I liked him when he was in WCW during the NWO I liked how they made Page a lone wolf an I respect how he had a learning disabilities never held him down N now he helps ppl out when he can
@Meta Man true to that no matter what u can always better yourself truthfully no bullsh*t I didnt learn to talk till my 8th grade year I got made fun all the time I tried to go suicide bcuz I couldn't deal with it but anyway DDP was kind of an inspiration to never give up an also anyone can change if they want to
honestly; DDP, Goldberg and Sting are the only WCW homegrown original talent that i can think of, everyone else either jumped to WWF to have more success or jumped from WWF for the creative freedom
Booker T and Scott Steiner are the other ones although you could argue Sting and Scott Steiner are NWA/JCP products as they came through in the late 80’s
I would add The Giant as well.
Everybody says DDP is both a good guy, and was one of the top guys in WCW around the Goldberg era. DDP is a cool guy and deserves all of his accolades.
Kimberly was so 🔥!
The diamond Dallas page story career documentary 👍👍👍👍👍👍
That Scott hall shit almost mad me cry what a solid dude not just wrestling but the whole world needs more people like DDP
How hasn't DDP won a noble peace prize or humanitarian awards yet, seriously.
FEEL THE BANG
I’ve worked with DDP a handful of times last year. He’s a super genuine dude. You guys should look into what he’s doing nowadays, it’s pretty incredible.
DDP is a hero for helping others.
Thank you DDP.
Personal favorite wrestler of all time. Absolute travesty how the WWE booked him when he came over.
For the young wrestling fans it’s RKO now, 15 years ago it was the Stone Cold Stunner and before that it was the DIAMOND CUTTER… BANG!!!!
He's just a genuinely great human being. You never hear any bad stories about him.
"Self high five" BAAAAAAANNNGGGGGG DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER DDP one of a kind💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎
Love The Diamond!!
DDP is and always be my favoratie wrestler! I got to see him live when I was a kid was awesome!
Much love and Respect to DDP🤘👊✊
DDP is the True Saint to wrestling!!! A all around great guy!!!
DDP, Brodie Lee, and Owen Hart are all guys I've never heard a single bad thing about.
Yes DDP is best
Thank you for helping Jake the Snake and Scott Hall.
Always loved the DDP Caricature
15:52 that's dope, I had that movie "READY TO RUMBLE" on vhs back in 2008, my video player broke, then had to get rid of all our video tapes, was hard to get rid of that 1
Self high five 🙌🏻
DDP WCW people’s champion
One of my favorite wrestlers and loved his remixed version of smell like teen spirit
DDP is a true hero, inside and outside the ring.
DDP was always awesome and the coolest cat on the block. My favorite WCW wrestler ever.
Wow cool video! I never knew he was in for so long!
This guy was awesome in the ring and Mic
He actually did not start doing yoga until he blew out his back. He was hesitant but started incorporating it with his rehab and that is where DDP yoga came from.
A lot of "Diamond" themes in his career arc. 💎💎
It’s been said time and time again but it cannot be said enough. DDP is an impeccable person and wrestler. What happened to him in WWE was unfair and undeserved and yet couldn’t leave a scratch on his character.
Most highly replicated finisher of all time some of your favorite wrestlers bit off the diamond cutter put they own spin on it but couldNT nobody do it like DDP💯
From losing a loser leaves town match to The Bootyman to WCW Champion...
A long road for sure...
Happy birthday 💎
BAAAANNG!
DDP is a one of a kind saint!!!Saint!!!! Saved my hero Jake the Snake! Jake is a true warrior! Helped Scott Hall back on track. God Bless him. RIP Hall
Feel the bang !
The BEST.
DDP was my Fav in WCW kind of glad I missed the Invasion years. The yoga thing may not be my thing. Yet what it's doing for others is definitely a good thing.
Dusty 😢 🐐
THE DIAMOND CUTTER !!
Mad respect to DDP
YOU WILL FEEL THE BANG
Nice vid, Next up Booker T
Harlem Heat: The Booker T Story
Tbh my favorite all time wrestlers were DDP, and Rey Mysterio Jr. Both of them were so much fun to watch.
I met the man and shook his hand in 2005 Baghdad Iraq will always hold a special place in my heart for GDP bang
Self High Five!
I met ddp at a book signing back in the 90s here in Atlanta, I was 10 or 11 at the time. He’s probably the nicest wrestler I’ve ever met and will meet, all around fantastic person.
Edit: correction it was in 2000 so I was 12.
One of the last real men in the industry. His matches with savage are ingrained in my wrestling childhood. Wcw thru and thru even after they closed the doors and he went to new york he still looked at himself as a wcw guy. I loved the rock too but paige was the legit peoples champ. I know he probably wasnt the first to wrestle in jeans but he made that shit cool. Lol. Hes a legend in my eyes in the ring but even a better man out. I dont think he gets all the respect he deserved. I know he has mine
DDP a retired wrestler turned yoga instructor and here are his accomplishments:
3-times WCW World Heavyweight Championship
WCW World Television Championship
2-times WCW United States Championship
4-times WCW World Tag Team Championship
4th WCW Triple Crown Champion
1996 Lord of The Ring Tournament winner
WWE European Championship
WWE Tag Team Championship
2017 WWE Hall of Fame
DDP is the man.
A true example of a kind hearted man who has helped many through their struggles and addictions. God bless him and in my opinion he has the greatest finishing move ever the diamond cutter!!!! Glad he successfully sued Jay-Z too!!!
