Hey guys, a lot of people have requested I re-upload a few videos that were taken down, here is the The RVD Story in celebration of him begin inducted into the Hall of Fame, make sure to drop a like to help get the video picked up by CZcams’s algorithm, and subscribe if you haven’t already for a brand new video coming this weekend 💪🏻👊🏻🤘🏻👍🏻
Hulk Hogan or Bret Hart
X-Pac
I know Matt Riddle is an early one but drop it 2 weeks time?
Maybe you should do a Bella Twins vid
Yes yes yes yes please Re-upload more videos please
He's one of very few wrestler's who's never needed the top belt in any promotion. His style and charisma is truly one of a kind. I'm so glad I got to watch him growing up and he deserves all his roses.
He was so unique. His charisma was out of this world. His in-ring skill Is legendary to say the least. One of the greatest to ever do it.
@Ace Diego Szares No one's saying he didn't. They just mean that he never needed them.
It’s really weird ti cuz it’s not like he’s great on the mic. His in ring ability spoke for itself
He's actually the first PWI #1 who was not the top guy when given the rank and only won world title years after
More like Jake Roberts. He doesn't need the belts, but the belt needs him to become prestigious.
He truly deserves this year's hall of fame induction
As of today he got inducted
Yeah.. not snoop dogg lol
@@brandilasagna or Ozzy lol
@SPOOKY_89 damn this comment did not age well. Lmfaooo
100%
I'm glad more ECW icons are getting the recognition they deserve. RVD is one of the very best to ever lace up a pair of boots.
I’ve always liked RVD.
@@venomousnate7263 pretty sure we all did lol
Guess you could say he one of a kind?
RVD is one of the greatest! ☯️☯️
@Taik Willis probably inside of his gorgeous wife. I know that is where I would be if I was Thomas Dreamer.
RVD was definitely the most unique wrestler of the late 90s and early '00s. He should have been a much bigger star
I wanted to be RVD when I was a kid.
When most people wanted to be Hogan, Micheals, HHH, Bret Hart
And Cena
I wanted to be RVD.
I feel like he already made the One of a kind RVD story.
He did but it got taken down
@@phantom.2675 I believe it youtube be on some B.S. sometimes bro
What year were you a kid, because that's like 3 different generations of wrestlers you just named?
I met him once at a comic con in San Francisco when I was 13, he was so nice and cool and he’s a legit comic fan too. I’ve met a lot of celebrities, he was one of the friendliest though, very humble
With a wrestler as famous and successful whether in ECW WWE or Impact, RVD truly deserves the Hall of Fame induction.
110% genuine down to earth bloke defo deserves hall of fame
Ah yes, Rob Van Dam, one of the most innovative high flyers in wrestling history in my opinion. His in-ring style and overall look really appealed to me, along with his laid-back stoner demeanor that blurred the lines between heel and face which makes him my favorite wrestler of all time. Basically he's me if I became a wrestler. (Although I personally wouldn't have worn a singlet)
Haha high Flyer, I see what ya did there.
Not everyone can rock a singlet. It takes a special pair of quads and lats.
The goat, the martial arts and high flying combined with how laid back and not with the backstage bullshit. Dudes a legend
Not the goat, don't exaggerate
I randomly came across one of these videos and here I am, like 12 videos in reliving my childhood 😂
Haha hope you enjoy 🤘🏻👊🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Same bro 😂😂
Same I'm waiting on him to add more
was it the pot video by any chance
It happens to the best of us bro lol 😂
RVD was ahead of his time. If he was in his prime right now in this 2021 wrestling! He’d be a bigger star then Omega. That’s saying a lot,
💯 facts
That would be tough but I gotta agree
Kenny Omega isn't even a star to casual fans..atleast people know who RVD is...omega is the most overrated wrestler ever
So cringy even when hes out of character trying to talk ..just awkard.
@@skyblaze1134 agree, I'm so tired of watching him do 15 V triggers everytime he wrestles, he will never ever in a million years be as good as RVD. I hope I dont trigger any NJPW or AEW fan boys.
@@kevinnashsquad3360yep, "best wrestler ever" but spams a million v triggers what a joke Kenny is ...
I think he is often looked over and incredibly under appreciated that he doesn't always get the same attention as other big names like the Rock, Cena, etc. He was always one of the wrestlers you could count on to put on a great show.
he is one of the few who genuinely have their own in ring style and cannot be replicated. he and booker t have the best in ring styles.
This dude is a Legend!! He was so coordinated in that ring. He is One Of a Kind!!
One of my favorite as a kid. I always love his intro music. I personally feel he was definitely under used in the WWE I would have loved to see him as World Heavyweight Champion, or even a longer WWE champion Reign
Reign*
RVD is definitely my all time favorite. I was stunned when I first saw him around 97 in ECW. Nobody ever managed to create such an unique style like him. Still the whole f'n show
Rob is a great guy. I remember as a kid we asked em for an autograph. (we were hardy fans right after summer slam) he joked "why would you want my autograph.. You're hardy fans!", but he gave us an autograph and took a picture with us anyway. Great dude!
Geeze RVD is literally the true wrestling fan. Always going for the Underdog company and loving it for what it truly is, a passion.
RVD, the only alliance member that was face because the people just loved him too much! RVD will always go down as one of the greatest legends 💯 🍃 🔥 💨
Big Facts💯 I wasn’t big on ECW.. I watched WCW & WWF/WWE.. but you never lied as soon as RVD came on WWF/WWE I was mesmerized by his fighting style & etc.. he was too exciting & sensational 😤👑 to not like💪🏾💯
Chris Jericho and RVD are the best of promoting wrestling in every promotion they land on! Big props!
RVD thinks Jericho is a political bitch.
One of the few guys that made you stand up and want to start trying this at home
"The Whole FN Show" Rob Van Dam.. One my all time favorites.. He was great & thank goodness he went to ECW it was the best decision of his career.. This man had a great run in WWE & TNA.. Well deserve Hall of Famer
These Documentaries are FIRE!!
Too good to be free , can’t believe it
That was a perfect video to remind us what we witnessed as wrestling fans during that time. RVD truly changed the entire business with that gymnast style. Great documentary! Thanks!
Rob Van Dam was my absolute favorite growing up! Lord knows how many times I got scolded by my mom for swearing because I was so excited whenever he was in the ring
It's a totally different kick to be referred to as a ECW star. What an awesome time it was. Thank you RVD.
He has to be one if most beloved wrestlers
RVD is definitely up there as one of my favourites his matches with Jerry Lynn, Sabu, and Eddie Guerrero were great as his tag team with Sabu
The longest time I always thought he was related to Jean Clude Van Dam because they look alike facial wised
Same they look too much alike
I always thought they were the same person😂
i thought they were brothers..
Lmaooo all my childhood i thought he was jcvds brother or smth not just cuz of the name even tbeir faces and hairstyles look alike as well its crazy
@@johnchina4065 i thought they were brothers
The man never had to reinvent himself to stay popular and relevant. Even without seeing his spectacular ring work, he just seems like a guy who anyone would want to hang with.
I loved watching his early work in the WWE and have always been a fan since then. That five star frog splash of his will never not be hype.
LOVED him!!! Him and that unitard just got me all flustered ..... loved his charisma and he was just so adorable!!! His skills were fire!!!
Man RVD was so popular at that time it does suck that he wasn't able to become a multi-time world champion in WWE but it was probably because the company didn't trust him after what he did when he was Champion the first time
I lost it when he won the belt at ECW One Night Stand 2006
what did rvd do the first time he was champion?
@@rcmanization watch the damn video
Unpopular opinion but he’s definitely top 5 best wrestlers like he’s lowkey up there with the rock and Steve Austin , they didn’t appreciate him enough
He was one of the greats, no doubt.
nothing but legendary loved this dude as a kid
💯 he’s the 🐐
I have been to only one live wrestling event in my life and RVD was the best thing I saw. The other wrestlers there like Booker, Kane, Shamrock, etc did not even come close to his level of talent, speed, flexibility and dare I say even presence of greatness.
He did well in Briefly in WCW, ECW, WWE and TNA . This year he’s inducted into WWE Hall of Fame. He was former WWE champion, tag team, hardcore, intercontinental, & European. He’s a grand slam winner in ECW winning every title in the Companies history.
I actually did not know he had so many accomplishments. He was one of my favourites..👍🏽
Underrated. I remember on the raw vs smackdown games you can random select , id be stoked when i got him cause i knew his move-set like the palm of my hand. One of a kind
Hearing about his contract expiring in 2012, I would've LOVED to have seen him jump over to ROH around that time. The matches would've been epic
RVD is truly a Legend Man 🙌🏾
Without a doubt the late 90's were the golden years for wrestling. WWF, WCW and Ecw.
Rob Van Dam fan for life……
RVD was definitely my all time favorite wrestler. Incredible skills and the uncanny ability to make his opponents look great too in his matches. I haven't watched wrestling in years unfortunately, to me it's gotten to be stupid and silly. I always wondered what happened to him after all these years.
That early clip of him wrestling Sabu is everything.
If RVD gets a legacy run then I’d have no problem with that, I like him in the ring. Shame he never truly got back to where he was in WWE
He's still working in impact wrestling
@@geraldwilson727 I’m aware, I’m just saying if he has a little bonus run in him and is cool with it I’d love to see him in WWE
Dude been wrestling around 30 yrs damn
@@cesarpac3723 chris jericho is also wrestling for 30yrs.
RVD the hero of ECW ❤️
Probably my favorite wrestler of all time honestly, if not he’s at least top 5 for sure
Rob Van Dam vs Jerry Lynn was the first ever video I bought of ECW. Man, that changed my whole perspective about 'wrestling'.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE SOME ECW ICONS IN THIS CHANNEL
Yes, the RVD documentary is back!
I think RVD, like Hogan, Flare and Dustin Rhodes won't every really fully retire, and will always be willing to step into the ring when ever he feels physically able, so long as someone is willing to sign him. He loves to wrestle and the fans love him, and I think that we will keep seeing him popping up, if only occasionally.
RVD was 1 of my favorite growing up now he's a wrestling goat
I remember being amazed by van dam as I watched WWE growing up and now in my early 20’s Ive discovered the authentic ECW and the more I watch the more van dam (& the whole product) amazes me
Watch eliminators tag team matches. One of the underrated tag teams especially john kronus as Perry saturn is even known
@@ShubhamMishrabro I’ve been watching any ecw I can get access to starting in ‘95. I love The Eliminators matches. Always something new to see
This video has so much quality for a free piece of art. You are fantastic at putting this together.
One of the only reasons i watched ECW
I know that this one was blocked for a while, but it's one I've been waiting for, thank you Andy for the repost! This made my day
One of the best short documentaries I have seen on CZcams. Thanks for putting in the time & effort. Kudos!
Rvd is the guy everyone wants to be friends with.
Rob is a Michigan treasure! Lol. I'm in Kalamazoo, and I've always been so proud he was from Michigan. 💜
Glad he’s soon to be a HOFer always was one of my favorite wrestlers ever, this perfectly makes up for his lack of championships.
Mr. Monday night, The whole fn show RVD I'm gonna miss him in the Wwe
Love that guy, RVD, gotta be in my top 5 wrestlers of all time
Massive thanks for making
this video. Big fan of Rob Van Dam I grew up watching him and I'm delighted that his been inducted into HOF.
Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Saw him in Cracker Barrel didn’t say anything but as he was leaving I went “RVD” and he did the thumb to back thing it was cool 👍🏻
He is still these high flying things amazing
A true hall of famer
Definitely under rated…!
My absolute favorite wrestler when I was a kid
Probably the greatest high flyer in all professional wrestling.
Smoking Marijuana and watching RVD go to work was one of a kind all right 👍 the goat 🐐
A unsung hero in the wrestling business in my opinion he’s a contender for top 10 wrestlers of all time
Damn his resemblance to Jean-Claude Van Damme is uncanny
He is indeed One Of A Kind from A Proud RVD Fan.👍👍
As always great video. Thanks for the content!!!
Bro this videos are perfectttt. Specially during covid, I've binged watch your documentaries. Much more success to you! Thank you thank you!
Great content haven’t seen anyone do it with this much depth.. keep it up 👍🏽
I'll never forget how as a Kid I was so obsessed with this guy I learnt every in ring move he performed. I could do most of em at some point I was named RVD and when we played Wrestling I was third worst nightmare
He always be one my all time favorites. Got to meet him and he was so cool and nice. Let me hold the wwf hardcore belt.
Most definitely my favorite wrestler of all time, this dude was just so fucking hardcore and he’s just so chill. Van daminator is one of the best finishers 😭
If he hadn't been caught with that green while being double champ, he would have had a better run.
no shit lmao....
It shouldn’t matter though that he was smoking he didn’t do it during his entrance or stand around the ring smoking, think about how many times as fans we’ve seen beer involved isn’t that them putting out an image but they never fucked those people out of titles, it’s just wwe taking marijuana too seriously…
Sad part is, this wouldn't even be an issue in today's day...
Yea shitty being only weed. Meth heroin or whatever yea but come on. Ridiculous
You took your stupid pills for sure
amazing efforts bro, I enjoy your channel so much. I love it. keep up the good work
When I was a kid RVD was my first favorite wrestler, he got me into it. Still one of the most believable performers to ever do the high flying style. When you see what happened with AJ Styles career, it makes you wonder how big RVD could have been if they didnt fuck him up over his weed use.
Jeff, Rob & Rey 😢🤦🏾♂️👌🏾🔥🔥🔥 So litty! My childhood was amazing. Real hero’s !
Didn’t even realize I liked “high flyers” more than brutes.
I love how you do these documentaries , pretty amazing ,
I've been slowly watching all the documentaries and... DAMN, keep ip up, thanks a lot
Great video. RVD is definitely in my all-time top ten.
Thank you
WWE blew so many layups with RVD is absolutely bananas! I can understand him not winning the world title right after the Invasion debacle, but they could have made him an even bigger deal by having him carry around the IC, European and Hardcore titles as sort of a "belt collector" until he won the big one and vacated the rest.
They also squandered the chance to present him as a walking weapon by beating the Undertaker clean on a rematch for the Undisputed title. Him winning at One Night Stand was very special, but even if he hadn't been suspended for weed, the momentum had cooled down significantly.
Bro ur content is absolutely amazing, RVD was and still is one of my favourite wrestlers and the vid was awesome. Please can you do Diamond Dallas Page next???
One of my favorite wrestlers ever. One can never not cheer for the “Whole Damn Show!”
This is a great series of videos, always informative and entertaining
This is my GOAT, whenever I heard his entrance music I knew I’d be glued to the tv.
He is the goat the reason why I watch wrestling was because of him and when he hit the rolling thunder 💯💯🤣
Vicki Brasher Moore. Congrats Rod Van Dam.......Ypu deserve it!
The fear I see when I look in your eyes makes me think I’m one of a kind
The fear I leave at the back of your mind makes you believe I’m...
ONE OF A KIND!
Great amazing story
Thanks Andy for this great homework fella!
As a kid I thought he was really Rob Van Dams brother :)
The fact that RVD was able to incorporate extreme style wrestling with his moves, really just speaks to how unique RVD was.
WWE history would’ve been so different if RVD wasn’t suspended. In hindsight, it’s pretty silly that the drug charges are what held him down. Especially with how much looser the perception is around marijuana now.
What’s cool is RVD is just as dope today as he was in his prime
