  • My one-handed mace and board ancients paladin tank build that can control, support, buff, and heal fights very well. This build features 9 paladin, 2 sorcerer, and 1 cleric. Showing starting class and ability points, races recommendation, level progression to 12, gear setup, and combat guide for Baldur's Gate 3. You can use this as your main character. This build really gives you the pally vibe!

Sorry for lack of videos lately. Been more busy than usual and will probably be that way until the end of April. I'll still try to get videos out!
Currently thinking about doing a Halsin moon druid build next, but give me recommendations! Also, I'm considering a complete Palworld guide next if anyone is playing that.
Finally, Elden Ring will probably continue on this channel in May, leading into the DLC in June.

Check it out Dragon's Dogma 2. It seems that it is going to be a super game with the possibility of a variety of builds for the channel.

Seen a lot of videos for Pally/Sorc multiclass and I'm wondering what the benefit is compared to Pally/Bard mix? Pally/Bard seems to favour a melee spellcaster more. I thought you'd be going up to lvl 3 Sorc for quickened spell so you could attack with weapon to build arcane acuity and then use quickened spell to use CC spell as a bonus action to then attack again with extra attack, but you didn't do that. For example - weapon attack, hold person as bonus spell, crit on extra attack would make sense. That seems to add more to this build than the level of Cleric, in respect to making it more effective at CC. I like the rings set up and thats a really cool idea. So the ring of regeneration procs every turn? Can you get this from Rolan in Act 1?

Yes the ring procs every turn. I got mine from act 3 so idk about Rolan in act 1.
You can definitely make a case for sorcerer 3 instead of cleric 1. Imo with very limited sorcery points and spell slots, you can get more out of twinned compelled duel and extended command grovel, rather than quickened spell. Plus cleric allows you to get heavy armour prof if you choose to respec later to start as sorcerer. And sanctuary + extra warden of vitality heals is always nice too.
Edit: Also pally/bard is amazing too, but pally/sorc is quite strong if you invest more into sorcerer for higher spell slots/sorcery points. You lose out on twinned haste and some nice spells like fireball (which would make a good gish paladin/sorc).

@@Crozyn Thanks for the reply. It's a great build as well is your Bardadin build. The plan with using quickened spell would be controlling the battlefield from 1st turn. If you use Titanstring bow and open the fight with arrow of many targets (blessed by the ring proc) you've then built up arcane acuity to take advantage of CC'ing the battlefield on bonus action, much like band of mystic scoundrel. You have the battlefield at your mercy, same as band of mystic scoundrel gives you, but also with your ring combo on this build. You wouldn't need sorc points necessarily as you cast whatever CC spell at higher level to CC more targets. It's a matter of controlling the battlefield on first turn or second turn, I guess. Love that ring combo on this build as I think whispering promise is one of the most OP items and not seen that combo before. Very creative ;)
