Awesome video man. Love the footage.
Thank you!
Love yur video's & yur chanel. Quick tip. I've been driving roll off/hook lift for a long time. Leave truck neutral, brake off when you pick up a container. Lot less stress on the hydraulics & truck. Big fan. Keep grinding!
Great tip!
I used to do this job before I got hurt . Another tip is to put the hook down before you get to the dumpster . Because I did it while driving it was a quick process , backed in hooked , neutral no brake let the dumpster do the work , pto off , tarp and then I was off .
Nice content man. I am lucky to pay $41.25 a ton in southern West Virginia with diesel $.60 cheaper. Landfill still all mountains though! Great progress keep growing
I orderd a new dumpster set up been debating on what color dumpsters to get. Now starting to think maybe just get black one lot more easy to touch up and keep looking nicer longer.
Picking up my first dump trailer Saturday. Finally got approved for my A901 license after almost 2 years (NJ). Cant wait to get started. Thanks to all your content
New Jersey and there trash laws
@@hhprogressiveconstruction1140 here I am over 2 years and still not able to starting dumping…. I’m conditionally approved and was told by the end of this week my final packed should be “finalized” . Once they give me permission to order my decals that in itself can take weeks or up to a month or so. It’s ridiculous
@@AR-ye8gm Totally a messed up process
I didn't know you need special licensing to dump trash.

Would love to see a video about what you liked better about the trailer roll off versus the truck roll off setup. Perks of each vs cons of each.
Nice little truck
Thanks!
I was one of the first buyers of the hooklift system in 1985 and I thought it was the most ridiculous design then and I still think it is. If you ever wanted your equipment to work the hardest by one of those!!
That's awesome!
Can’t go wrong with the Bucks cans
Love the footage! Is there a way to pull out and drive once the can is on but still loading? Then while the driving can the tarp roll over the can? just to save a couple minutes or am i getting way to ahead of myself? Im new to this .
Dallas tx, gas is around 3.12 to 3.25, diesel around 3.40 to 3.55
New Jersey we are paying 4.17 diesel. We are adding fuel surcharge too each dumpster now. 3.59 Gas
Would your truck dump topsoil at a good angle so it all comes out because I do that 75% of the time trying to decide on the truck container combination
Love it
I just picked up a second dump trailer last week. I live in ohio and gas is 3.29 a gallon. How do you like that 7.3 in the f600? I am running the 6.8 v10 still and will be upgrading in a year or two. I appreciate you and the videos keep up the good work and keep hustling my friend.
The 7.3 has been strong just hit 3,000 miles so still breaking in. Thanks for the support
Congrats on the baby on the way. I’m guessing GMC Sierra Denali

Where do you get your dumpsters from?
If you could, would you have built your first residential collection body on a hook lift truck? Run residential and then be able to swap dumpsters when needed
Yes I’ve thought about it many times, may be a future purchase when we trade in the 5500 we have now
Interesting. That's where my head's at too. Just worried about the added height when on the residential route
Diesel at sams in lincoln nebraska is $3.30. $3.60-4.00 anywhere else.
Just recently stumbled upon your channel.
Could you either direct me to a video in your library that addresses inappropriate trash being put in your trailer and how you deal with it?
If not in your library, could you make a video touching on the subject?
New Chevy 2500. Gas in South Carolina 3.29 diesel 3.69
What made you go with the 120 cab-to-axle drivetrain instead of 84 or 108? Is it because of the tarping system, your hooklift setup, or the ability to carry longer dumpsters? I am looking into getting the F600 and I am not planning on having a tarping system but I want to make sure I go with the right dimensions. I'd like to be able to carry a 12 ft dumpster comfortably without too much overhang. I just wanted to get your point of view. Thank you so much for the great videos!
Yes we were looking to carry 14’ containers so they would be easier to load over the sides for our customers and the tarp kit needed extra space so the 120 fit the bill
Get the trap kit who wants to climb up and tarp your loads . Saves time and Insurance bills from falling .
What size dumpster is that, 10 yard?
@@JBever33 15YD
Where do you get dumpster and what size?
5.159/gallon of 87 octane in chicagoland area.
Buy an external fuel tank for your yard and save 15.-20. Per gallon
What pto model and pumo model/flow rate did you end up with? Im putting my own together soon here in nh...
Muncie PTO I don’t remember the specs
Where do you get you trash cans?
It sucks that the F600 doesn’t carry 20yd cans. Really want to move away from the Maxx D setup but I don’t think F600 would be worth it. You think different bud?
I think so for the right business model. We don’t get many calls for 20YDs I might even buy a couple 10s in the future
Is that a 14' or 16' can?
OC California gas today $4.80 regular
To drive this one do i need CDL?
Lancaster Pa 3.79 a Gallon for gas
Just curious. Why not step up to the f650?
No 4wd and there is no where that services them around our town
You have a truck problem, man! A new truck every 6 months!
7.3 gas do you like that better than diesel?
Its been strong so far 27k miles
$3.35 here for diesel (Colorado)
What size dumpsters are they? Do you like the tub style or rectangle dumpster better?
I like the tub style more these are 15s
im paying 6.50 in cali
Are your cans 14 foot long?
Yes they are
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 That’s great. So you can get 20 yard dumpsters also?
@@myredeyelife7010 yes
Gas is $4.07 right now .
Should carry a bucket or ice melt or dirt...
We started carrying ice melt this year!
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 would you mind if I shot you a email? Looking to get started. My buddy sent me you're videos as homework lol I thank God he did, because I really enjoy you're channel and content. Very good stuff!
