With the conclusion of the seventh phase, voting for the Lok Sabha election 2024 ended on Saturday. The News18 Mega Exit Poll suggested that the BJP could win the majority with 305 to 315 seats. As per the predictions, NDA will bag victory in Lok Sabha polls by winning 355 to 370, while Opposition-led INDIA bloc will win 125 to 140 seats.
BJP could register a landslide victory in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Karnataka, News18 Exit Poll results indicated. In addition to this, BJP is also likely to open its account in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, while the INDIA bloc is likely to sweep both states.
The Lok Sabha elections 2024 have witnessed a direct fight between the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Congress-led INDIA bloc. The ruling BJP is hopeful of a third straight term under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal to surrender today as court refuses to pass immediate order in bail plea.
No immediate relief for Arvind Kejriwal as the Rouse Avenue court yesterday reserved Delhi Chief Minister's plea seeking interim bail in the alleged excise policy scam case.
The court refused to pass any immediate order despite Kejriwal’s lawyers asking it to do so. The order is now expected to be pronounced by judge Kaveri Baweja on June 5. Arvind Kejriwal to surrender today as court refuses to pass immediate order in bail plea.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he will be surrendering on June 2 and, in an emotional appeal, asked the people to take care of his old and ailing parents after he is gone.
"I will leave my house around 3 pm (on Sunday) to surrender. It is possible that this time they will torture me more, but I will not bow down," he said.

Pune car accident: Now that the mother of the accused has been arrested, cops in the investigation has found that the blood samples of the accused have been swapped with that of the mother. Cops will now seek the custody of the mother and the father of the juvenile by putting forth the arguments based on the CCTV footage of Sassoon hospital that they have seized.
