- Hey my Lovelies,
So I wanted to see if hot oil treatments are an absolute must for those of us on our hair journey. Many persons do not seem to be talking about these type of treatments anymore, neither are persons incorporating them as part of their regimen. So I did a before and after comparison and I decided to share the results with you. I hope you enjoy!
In this video, I decided to share my preferred oils for this type of treatment and also, the benefits of these oils. You will see how I apply the oils to my hair and my immediate feedback after the treatment.

After 4 weeks post hot oil treatments assist in keeping NG soft in between washes. Extremely beneficial if you are stretching. it reduces breakage. I use amla oil though.
I will perform hot oil treatments; before deep conditioning, 2 days after a fresh relaxer, and twice a month for maintenance. Once my hair is dry I use jojoba oil ad a finishing oil. The shine is incredible!
Hey girl. Your makeup is bomb and your teeth are beautiful 😁
Awww, thanks 🤗🤗
Back in the days I use to do hot oil, over 30 years ago. Will start again
This was a holy grail for my hair. Thank you
I didn't know you can apply the oil to your hair too , I apply to the scalp only .Thanks for sharing
Great video! It made me think 🤔 about the last time I had one done.
Not so common these days...
I LOVE HOT OIL TREATMENTS❤ WORKS GREAT FOR MAKING MY HAIR MANAGEABLE IN STRETCHING MY RELAXERS UP TO 5 MONTHS!! MAKES MY HAIR SMOOTH
Hi Denaj. What if i mix oils in my conditionner instead of prepoing with oils ? Tks for ur advice
Hey! That is also a really good alternative. I tend to that more than I do pre poos.

Well atleast I was doing that part right
Do you Shampoo first the hot oil treatment and deep condition? So it like your Shampooing twice?
Yes, that's correct. However, most times I'll revert to applying the hot oil treatment first as a pre treatment.
Thank you. I am planning to get my hair relaxed so I am currently doing research on how to proper care for my hair after and I am currently following you for the bulk of advice. Thank you again.
Awww, thank you 💕🤗
do you shampoo and condition after
Yes, I would shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo and condition as usual.
@@DenaJ making sure I'm doing it b right, I got a casteroil and coconut mix, doing it for 3 weeks, once a week
Are you noticing any differences?
@@DenaJ yes it I do, I'm having less breakage but I do more when I'm stretching the creme
Hello pls how long do you have to wait after relaxing to do hot oil treatment
There's no exact time frame. I would do hot oils based on how my hair feels. The level of dryness is a good indicator 🤗
72 hours/3 days before shampooing hair after a relaxer.
I apply a hot oil treatment 2 days after the relaxer is put in
I just applied hot oil treatment to dirty hair 😭
Oh well next week I will try again the right way.
Some times I still do it on dirty hair still. Too much ins and outs of the shower for me...
U look like juju ! Cameron ex girlfriend
I've had one other person tell me that before.. Ahahaha
