Funny story, I always liked Skillet, but didn’t really know anything about the band. I followed John Cooper online for awhile just talking about religion and politics and didn’t know he was the singer of Skillet 😂 My husband saw me watching him one day and was like oh I love that band🤣
Saw skillet in concert twice... will go again next time though our area!!

I love Skillet, I can recommend so many of their tracks, but Legendary, Victorious, Hero, Not going to die, Awake and Alive, sick of it, and Psycho in my head are some of my fav's

I discovered Skillet through a work colleague this year and I have to say, I'm really excited!!! Especially with Jen on drums and as a background singer! Just great! I'd love to hear more from the band and if you'd like any suggestions, let me know! I've collected a few over the last few weeks xD

Please, please do more Skillet! Psycho in My Head, Crossfire, Hero, Monster, Victorious, Surviving the Game, Dominion are some of their best songs.
They're more of a band of Christians to me than a Christian band. It has an underlying Christian tones, but they try to being a message of hope to a wider audiance, mostly touring with non-Chrisitian bands. John Cooper (lead singer/bass), Korey Cooper (keyboard, guitar, production, everything), Seth Morrison (guitar), and Jen Ledger (drums/vocal). You really need to check out Legendary (was theme song for one of the wrestle events for awhile so you know it rocks), Finish Line, Not Gonna Die, Ignite, Back to Life, Standing in the Storm, Save Me, Forever or the End (for a slower back and forth between the vocalists....theyve been around for over 20 years so have alot of good ones.
Jen will belt it out while playing drums live and not miss a beat. When she joined she had only been playing drums for 4 yrs and was about to give up. Korey convinced John to give her a chance. She has a sode project called Ledger, little mellower. John and Seth have a side project called Fight the Fury, little harder than typical Skillet.

Been listening to skillet since I was in high school in the early 2000's. Their new album Dominion is great. Been listening to it on repeat with my kids.

Christian metal is actually very good. Bands like Thousand Foot Krutch, Red, P.O.D. and others are very heavy and very meaningful.

Yeah, Denver Broncos ran the team out on the field to this song after their super bowl win with Peyton Manning. It was epic. Regardless of your beliefs, solid metal band and a game changer in their industry for sure.

Yes skillet is a Christian band listen to awake and alive there are hints to faith in there songs. Another Christian rock band is Fireflight. A female fronted band. Some songs share a faith based background but there testimony is a god faith background
