They're a band of Christians that rely on a general message of hope vs trying to convert, they typically tour with non-Christian bands. Really should check out their songs Not Gonna Die, Legendary, Ignite, Finish Line, Back to Life, Whispers in the Dark....over 20 years of great music. If you like ballads, Forever or the End is a great back and forth with John and Jen. Jen (drums and singing) also has a side project called Ledger. John (bass and singing) and Seth (guitar) have a side project called Fight the Fury.
Over 20 years? Try closer to 30 years, they started in 1996 lol

Jen Ledger on the drums and singing is amazing! Feel Invincible and Legendary are both great songs and Victorious if you want to hear more awesome violin 🤘
Skillet has evolved from a pop-rock band, to a metal/symphonic metal band to what can only be described as a force. Their Collide Album was the major shift that launched them in a new direction. Listen to Savior or Collide from that album next.
Ive been listening to this band for over 20 years....they are the Metallica of Christian music. All of Skillet is awesome!!
That's more like an insult to skillet.... you're basically saying that skillet is the most overrated Christian band in existence, because that's what Metallica is when it comes to metal, Metallica is EXTREMELY overrated...

Skillet is one of my all time favorite bands. Jenn on the drums has a solo project called Ledger check out some of her songs also she's soo talented
My wife and I saw them in March in LA. Drove there from San Diego. Was worth the drive. They did not disappoint 👍🙌

Feel Invincible, Not gonna die, the resistance are a few of many which are very good.
All have very well made videos too. Others with good videos include Save Me, Sick Of It, Circus For A Psycho (the one with Spanish subtitles) and Hero.
Forsaken, Fingernails, Cycle Down, are all better

you love the cello and violin you should checkout the band apocalyptica a Finnish metal band with 3 cellos and a drummer - i do't care, im not jesus, and not strong enough are all amazing songs
