I'd encourage you to watch a special of Stavros and you'll see that he has really great writing, timing and the works. He does crowd work like this during sets. It's not the whole show. Many people love the crowd engagement (including those getting roasted) and it's not always just burning people. I happen to think this comedy bubble is not about to burst at all. It seems like he could be just a couple small moves from really being a big star. I could be wrong, but it seems like all the pieces are there.

This crowd work/roast was the first one I've seen from Stavvy that felt like it straddled the line of funny/mean. Usually it seems like its all in good fun. This one almost seemed personal.

I'd like to know what Stav's day was like before this set because it definitely felt a little more mean and the crowd wasn't even fully engaged by it. Not crapping on Stav, he's human and random stuff can affect comedians too. I'd be interested to see him vlog about this stop on tour.
As he does more shows, he'll get more desensitized to bits like this. It comes with working with the public. When I worked for AT&T I was a very empathetic and understanding salesperson. I saw each person as a person and I really listened and cared about them, and I didn't do anything that I thought would hurt them in any way. By the end of that 5 year stint, I literally didn't care about anyone. They were just the faceless mass that were there to inconvenience me if they didn't want to buy something.
The more you work with the public, the harder it is to feel empathy for them. It really takes a special person to stay the same and never harden inside.
The crowd is clearly loving it.

Damn Stav must have been in a bad mood this night. This is one of the first ones I’ve seen where it’s honestly just straight up mean.
This is the first time I felt like Stavvy was unnecessarily hard on someone. Usually the audience member will get caught in a lie or give overt hints that they're probably a douche, but this guy just seemed chill and Stavvy was ripping him to shreds.
