@meisteremm wisconsin is predominantly German and Irish. South Milwaukee used to have a large Polish community. But not a ton of Polish. They do have Polish fest so IL give you that.

It's a public accounting firm so more likely than not he does have ambitions of being a CPA.
@@krakowdreamm a CPA at a professional firm and I can tell you at least 60% of the staff we hire are just timid junior preparers that turnover every couple years because of the stress and overtime it requires. Lots of folks stop halfway to the CPA and just leave to go into the private sector. The ones that stay, like myself, are in it for life.

@@krakowdream American or Canadian? I am Canadian. There is only 1 final exam, but multiple core and capstone projects to complete along the way.
You mean spend possibly years and thousands of dollars studying and taking test that less than 60% of people ever pass? Just to live at work almost half the year, and even though it's not a guarantee, you can make just as much privately.
As someone who is eligible to sit for the CPA, but works privately in Healthcare, can't say I blame people.
