My favorite thing is how Stavvy's laugh sounds like a lawnmower you're trying to start but it has no gas.
Stavros has an innate ability to read and pick people apart in seconds and we're so all so lucky he's not malicious.

I like that he reads guys he's heckling, he never kicks guys who are down too hard, there's an empathy he carries because he wants everyone to have a good time. I respect it, it's a reason I enjoy watching his crowd work vs most other comedians.

@@Junebug787 Pork chops don't have any marbling. If you're not battering and frying them in tonkatsu or something it's a pass. Go for the pork shoulder in the slow cooker or the blade steaks broiled. You don't have to eat the fat and it separates the meat out so juicily. Often on sale for $2.99/lb because people are afraid of pork clogging the ol arteries

there's something very beautiful about the behind the scenes footage placed between the sets. it's like an art movie starring stavros which are two things that i'd never expect to go together
To be fair, Stavros is an amalgamation of things that don't go together. The thinning hair mullet, the large rounded rectangular glasses, and the jeans shorts.
It's like he chose each part of his outfit as if he was trying to increase his stats in an RPG. "If I wear a button down collared T-shirt it gives me +15 HP, +5 mana, and +10 charisma"

The Italian dad section couldn’t have come at a better time as I am currently binge watching The Sopranos. I’m pissing.
Chappelle, Bill Burr, Ricky Gervais are some of the most famous & luckily have Gotti levels of teflon because they haven’t succumbed to OC cancel culture & pull no punches. Stavros is in a class by his own. He’s relatable, humble & self-deprecating but most importantly he doesn’t need to be low brow or vulgar. He finds the funny bits in even the most mundane & is comedically brilliant. I think he’s one of the funniest if not the funniest comedians out there now which speaks volumes about his talent.
Stav giving the guy going through a breakup a little bit of roasting actually probably helped him out in a sort of cathartic way.
You are a Greek treasure to America my guy. Love crowd work and you are easily top 3 in all time. It's not just the wit, it's the vast net for references, but also you give room for it to grow and ride the fun along with us. Thank you. And thank you for your input on Theo's podcast.
That clip on Theo's vid about trans people is a dumpster fire of a comment section. Weird audience. "Trans people can't exist because we must protect our children!" They said the same thing about gay people not that long ago. I remember when they opposed teachers being openly gay because "what if a man came to school in a dress" ... So afraid of being attracted to a man in any way. I think that one time they beat off to the thought of blowing their friend in middle school has them on high alert for the rest of their lives. I just ate an entire pint of Ben & Jerry’s while watching this special. about halfway through I didn’t even want to finish it and knew I should put it away, but I felt like Papa Stavvy would disapprove of that decision so I just housed the whole thing and laughed the whole time
