      for those who don't know - we Indians do that before going into any place we respect and admire, and by touching tje ground we are simply telling others that we respect even the dust on the ground that we are in and we respect other people who have stepped on this same ground and their feet touched the dust of the ground, we take that dust and put it on our forehead symbolically meaning we put those other people who have stepped on the same ground above us and the dusr of their feet on our head.
      While it's not very visible or common for people to take the dust and rub it on their forehead it is what the culture means.
      Stage of performance is no less than a temple and we touch the ground at such places showing our how humble we are. That is the beauty of Indian culture.

That is what it means, and we do that out of instinct, at least for me, if I have to consciously decide that hey I have to just follow my culture and touch the ground I might just not do it, but at places where we show respect we do it, touching the feet of our elders is a beautiful culture of ours.

    watching it i think the way is that he has 4 decks in different pockets with 51 blanks + 13 cards of 1 suit. When he take the deck he choose the card and put the other 12 inside his jacket. Really smooth moves.

    • @lpr5269
      @lpr5269 Před 3 měsíci +2

      I think he had 43 blank cards in each deck. Let me tell you why. I counted 44 cards on the table when he fanned them out. 56 cards come in a deck container. 52 playing cards, 2 jokers and 2 ad cards. So those 56 would fit in the deck container. If he had 64 cards he would need a thicker container which would look suspicious.

    • @Name-so9ns
      @Name-so9ns Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@lpr5269 yes i think this is the most likely and good observation. he has 4 decks, one for each suit, with each deck having 13 cards for the selected suit, all with QUEUE on the back, placed at the bottom of the deck with all blank cards above.
      once the suit choice is made, he picks the corresponding deck and then at 3:05 starts counting through the 13 spades with his thumb (hidden from view). once he finds the 11th card (the jack of spades), he can discard the other 12 spade cards into his pocket, and then cut the deck and insert the controlled jack of spades somewhere random.
      so that's 56 cards - 12 spades with QUEUE = 44 cards on the table, 43 blanks and 1 QUEUE card
      very impressive dexterity to count through 10 cards (A-9) to locate the jack, control it to bring it to the bottom of the blank card stack, keep the other spades separated in order to them, and then reinsert the jack. i tried doing that very very slowly while peeking and it is possible, but requires incredible precision and practice to do it blind and that quickly.

      Henrick Smartsone - There is a full reveal that has already been posted on CZcams. Yes, 4 decks, one for each suit, he then keeps the one chosen card and drops the other 12 inside his jacket. Very clever manipulation and he truthfully says that the cards on the table can be examined and leaves them there for P&T. The producers know he is telling the truth because they always know in advance how it is done and they do not permit any lies/cheating/audience member collaboration etc. P&T do not usually ask to closely examine the pockets/clothes of the magician - although it has been done in the past. In the current shows, Covid regulations make it more difficult for that but, nevertheless, well done young man!

      I’m sorry to say this but it doesn’t work that way.
      Even the way you greet people is very different in different parts of the country, the language, the culture and everything about the people is very diverse. And ofc religion accounts into that as a diversity factor.
      You can’t generalize Indians like at all, each and every state has their own identity, cultural background, language and outlook on life. “Indian” is the one thing that unites everyone under a common hood but doesn’t give anyone a right to rob then off their diversity. There’s no one true “Indian culture” , “Indian tradition”, “Indian religion” or “Indian Language”
      That’s what makes India, India “unity in diversity” and that’s what our constitution is based on too. It’s more of a group of countries forming a coalition and coming together under one name. Don’t go generalizing the entire nation, you’d be doing a disservice to the every Indian out there
