  • This video will hopefully give guidance on how to remove and refit the front wheels, change the bearings and the track rod ends / steering ball joints.
Jacking it up, adjusting the tracking and using basic tools to do the repair jobs.
On A TGA / Afikim Breeze S4 mobility scooter.

      Very much.
I used to carry spares on my motorbike, because the fronts don’t last long on pan European. 15 min roadside job.

how do you know when the track rod ends need replacing

    • @Bramble43

The steering can become vague and you can often hear knocking.
Turn the tiller fully left or right, hold the wheel that is pointing inwards at the front.
With the other hand, grab hold of the track arm and give it a wiggle.
It’s connected by ball joints so it’ll twist but should have no up, down or sideways movement.

Omg can’t believe what I’m watching for a Tga engineer came out to this they won’t touch it on site it needs to go the factory because you’re going off your eyesight not bang on with Tga and you have is problem someone from irsal has to come to the uk to do this work and lazers are used etc it not a easy job replacing the rod

      It’s a 8mph scooter.
It’s not going to get a speed wobble, start tramlining or scrub out the tyres in a few weeks.
If someone is that concerned about it, most tyre bays have laser wheel alignment kit.
I very much doubt someone comes from Afikim in Isreal to do wheel alignment on a scooter that doesn’t need it.
