I had the great privilege to see Dolores Keane and John Faulkner perform in Clarenville Newfoundland many years ago. It remains one of the amazing highlights of my concert going experience.

The old country is not the same any more ...unrecognisable. This makes me cry ...because Ireland has changed so much and not for the better.

@@marianlynch4829 I am so curious, Marian, in what ways you speak of. I am a Canadian and Ireland is my most favourite place in the world to visit and my son, his wife, and my grandkids are there. I'd love to hear more from you. Thank you

@@NancyLynn It's called diversity...Walking in many parts of Dublin today hardly any Irish...so many different people of all races...and it's getting like that in many towns through out Ireland. So many migrants and refugees ( many are not refugees) . Mosques in many places.
Perhaps that doesn't bother you ..I don't know...but it sure as hell bothers me.

@@marianlynch4829 I wonder if the millioms of Irish people who left Irelamd for a better life were met with like minded people like you Martin would life have been even more difficult for them for having to leave there country in the first place. I guess you have never traveled much or live in a different country to have such a closed mind.
