This music always brings me home back to the days where we had family community all together music Ain't the same. Listen to doloras Mary all the greats off my past so glad to hear it still all these years later. Lovely
I did it like Neil Cardif in 1990 an I have been looking for that song for 27 years now. I even tried to find it in Ireland. I never forgot it but nearly lost my hope to find it...Now this nice surprise. Dolores´s voice is touching my heart again. Many thanks from Germany to Neil for asking Mr Duhan and thanks to Johnny Duhan for listening to him...
Bravo John,.........indeed a very fine voice......lovely song. Taking the time out to , firstly , find the album, get it on the turntable , record and put it up there for the man.........and all of us. .....that we all be more considerate eh ?.
I had once, in the early '90s, the vinyl LP for the movie's soundtrack and, like others, played this song often, loving it (the melody reappears near the end of the record, if I remember rightly). Very tragically, at that time, an accident befell the LP. I think the recording was made in Tuam. Was it? Anyway, Dolores' enunciation and tonality are exquisite. Even if there are a few flaws, the composer and singer between them created a thing of beauty. Many thanks for troubling to upload it.
Michael, I was so addled with many things last evening, I didn't realise you were in the audience. You may have spoken to me but I was away with the fairies. If you were there, many thanks for coming. And many thanks for your support over the years.
Hopeful, beautiful and amazing. Thank all of you for your art.
Thanks for tuning in, Steven

Cladagh tribe is brilliant. God is good so when he hears this good music let bring back the soul to not only music but life
I remember this. I believe it was featured in the film "Reefer and The Model". Great song and Dolores singing at her best.
You're right, Mick, on both counts. Dolores was singing at her best around that time. The finest voice to come out of Ireland.
