      Lol. I follow the hype. When 3 youtubers plug a brand I start buying like crazy. I own a ton of Pfaltzgraff and could use the buzz. Pfaltzgraff as a rule is big and heavy and not worth the added cost of shipping. You have to price very low to offset high shipping cost.

    • @nadiacarpenter442
      @nadiacarpenter442 Před 3 lety

      I actually kind of like it and can spot it because of CL. I guess none of it is Collectible

    • @theresakralik1820
      @theresakralik1820 Před 3 lety +1

      @@nadiacarpenter442 Never say never. Always comp Pfaltzgraff and watch shipping. If the selling price is high the seller may have included free shipping. A $35 sale with $22 free shipping won't net enough to offset the risk of breakage during shipping. The more you try to pack safely the higher shipping gets.....Never say Never to any brand. There is always an exception....I search SOLD Pfaltzgraff on ebay, HIGHEST TO LOWEST, and see whatxare the best of the best patterns and pieces....and saleability changes with the seasons. That said, I rarely find Pfaltzgraff that meets my requirements.

      One of the reasons she has to be careful with especially cracks are they is a good chance they will crack more in shipment especially larger pieces.

      Buyers don't particularly want chipped, cracked, and broken items. Those items are worth 50% to 75% less and then have limited demand. Better to pass on those items.....There is an abundance of good items to buy right now as Boomers down size. TONS!

      @@theresakralik1820 yeah, i agree with this. personally, i would prefer items that are not damaged as well so i understand why she avoids to buy those ^^

      @@yeon1573 I do estate tag sales and have done sales for dealers. Most of the items in their homes are those great items you expect to see from someone with deep knowledge and good taste but inevitably most items have condition issues. Resellers/dealers love the beauty but get stuck with the damaged items so they live with those items. They look great but have lost most of their value. As a rule, I have learned to put down and walk away from "chipped, cracked, broken," items. .... that said, I make exceptions every week. 😆
