- I finally got my Epson Sure Color F570 set up, but now I need to figure out the best print settings. I'm using a MacBook Pro, so if you have knowledge of the settings for a Mac computer, then please share with me. I know it's a long video, but thanks for watching. I love how much you pay attention to every detail!!! Very beautiful work!
Thank you.
Congrats on your new printer, both butcher and parchment paper works well with sublimation you're good. Nice design, and both shirts came out good thanks for sharing stay safe and Bless
nice video jbm print looks nice good job
You are going to LOVE this printer!!!!
So far, I'm already loving it. I have a lot of ideas on things to print.
Really appreciate the time you spent making this video. it really helped me . I have never used a sublimation printer only the Roland BN-20a. I have a couple Tshirts to print and will use this format to print. thank you
good video it takes a few prints to get to colors right but once it s right it will only get better temp and time are a big thing with sub printing also
I like both shirts and thanks for the video.
you could make a really good series on diy sublimation printing if you decide to further craft this passion. That shirt design is on point as well btw.
Good Video. I don't think you need all those layers on top of your shirt. Just using the butcher paper will work fine. If you use teflon and get ink bleed on that then you will mess up shirts in the future using the teflon. I would just recommend just using your sub design and butcher paper. With just using the sublimation paper and butcher paper will definitely help you get better ink release. I use a heat press nation press as well as a MacBook. Again great video!
For future, don't crumble up your transfer sheet and throw away, if you have that much ink left on it, you can re use it
good morning. great video. Love all the details. I am looking at purchasing this same printer. You only need the butcher paper on the top depending on the sublimation paper you use. You do not need to use the teflon sheets and shouldn't"t use it because it holds in moisture. Question for you, after having printer for some time - what is your honest opinion on it? Do you still recommend this printer. for the large format printing? Again great video
I'm not him but yes, this printer is a beast
Great video, very helpful. I just purchased mines yesterday. Quick question. Do I have to print daily to prevent cloggage?
No you don't. I do not print daily and never had an issue to date. Often I leave it powered on though to prevent unnecessary maintenance cycles, which uses ink and fills up your filter faster.
@@jbmdesignco.693 Thanks
Nice video.
I just got the same machine but by uploading A4 paper or A3 it doesn't print and keep saying (No Roll Paper found)
I tried changing in setting but nothing happened just the same.
I just got my printer and did my first print as I watched your video but my print put a off white background when mine was clear in the background. Hmm anyways lots to learn.
That's interesting. Did you choose Epson to do color correction or the program you're working in to do color correction? They recommend using your programs color settings.
cool man!!!
Good Morning. I came across your video this morning and you have great content and you're very thorough. God bles. 💯
Thank you! I am glad viewers are getting useful information from my videos.
@@jbmdesignco.693 you’re welcome
hi - are the edges of your fonts clean? I cannot get a clean print out of illustrator or photoshop. My font edges are jagged/pixelated.
Yes, the edges of my font is clean. If you're importing a font into illustrator and you have this issue, you may want to try an image trace.
On the Roland BN-20a I dont like the weeding after the job. this process seems better. no weeding
Is there a way that you can use this printer for cotton shirts? Marrying sheets?
Yes, you could used materials like Cotton Subs, or glitter vinyl to sublimate onto 100% cotton.
I'm considering a printer thanks for the video
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Should I use several print out for each Tshirt?
How good are you now using the f570 . Its definitely looks Worth the money
I’m pretty good with it
Nice video👌I saw in the comments what heat press you are using. I've seen a lot cheaper ones, but I'm guessing you get what you pay for? Have all the success in the world bro. By the way, what types of printing would you do if you just wanted to print white ink on black shirts?
I depends on how many shirts I'm printing at one time and how complex the design is. If it's a short run, I'll use vinyl. If it is a lot (over 20) then I'll screen print.
@@jbmdesignco.693 Ok. Thanks for the advice. Stay safe bro.
Can you give us advice on starting our company?
Absolutely, thank you for requesting a topic.
Is this printer still worth it? How is the learning curve?
Yes, the printer is worth it and has been paying for itself. Tje learning curve is not bad. Just trying to find the best color profile is the only thing in my opinion.
How do you like this printer so far?
I just ordered one.
I love it. I have not experienced any issues with it so far and it pays for itself with the things I'm able to do with it.
Where can i purchase one at
So with this printer I don't need to buy sublimation ink??
This printer combed with the ink in the box.
Just subscribed
Thank you! I subscribed as well.
Good video, hey what heat press is that?
HPN Signature Series 16x20
@@jbmdesignco.693 Thankyou so much, I will definitely check it out! Quick question, I saw video of a print shop, they used it for dye sublimation, how is this possible?
@@robertalexander3067 Just adjust your time and temp and use a cover sheet on the top and bottom of the item you are sublimating.
How do you have your printer connected to your Mac, wired or wireless?
Wireless. I haven’t had any issues with this setup.
@@jbmdesignco.693 i just did my 1st print 🖨, colors look off...... but i need to press it to see if they are or not.
Just set the camera where it can capture the entire view instead of the Cloverfield effect.
Where do you get the shirts?
I use different vendors:
S&S Activewear
SanMar
Alpha Broder
(These are the main ones)
***You need a resellers license with these companies for wholesale pricing.
👍
What press are you using bro? How much did it cost you?
I use the HPN Signature Series 16x20 auto open with pull out drawer. Currently, they are $779.95 at heatpressnation.com
@@jbmdesignco.693 I got the stahls clam.. I definitely need a pull out drawer.
@@jauwannr Yeah, it's a helpful feature.
@@jbmdesignco.693 where can i purchase printer from
Next time print rgb mode and 10% brightness increase. Result will better
I will try that, but how do I go about turning up the brightness?
@@jbmdesignco.693 if you know designing. So u can easy increase brightness of image from corel draw or photoshop
@@jbmdesignco.693 I think you are new in this business. So not worry practice will make you best in future
@@delhitshirts2712 Thank you. That is what I was asking...whether you increased brightness through the printer itself or the software.
@@jbmdesignco.693 not hard. Just watch a 2 min video found here in youtube. I can help ya out if you need. Just got mine yesterday and setting it up today. Upgrading from a sawgrass sg400 with knock off inks hopefully I won’t have any color correction issues. I am planning on calling Epson a few times for troubleshooting lol
Too many sheets…and when u doing test prints use 1 shirt to put several prints on it till U get the right color settings….
