    I also had a similar experience with Milk Thistle. A few years back I saw a majestic animal, a horse, just come up to this beautiful purple flower on a thorn bush and just gobble it up without getting poked by the thorns. Just in the way he did it got me intrigued nevermind why he would eat such a thing...I'm now using this plant after discovering it's liver cleansing properties when my body told me I needed this for continued health as I was on the verge of becoming diabetic. I truly believe that there is definately something going on there on a more cosmic level.

    I have to echo Guido's comments about the beautiful and approachable way you bring herbalism into the world. It is appreciated. Listening to Guido is alway exciting and riveting! I have both of his books and will look forward to any others he puts out into the world. I just finished re-reading Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass and it struck me how everything Guido talked about mirrored her beautiful narrative. Different language, for sure, but both were equally poetic and deeply moving. I could feel his passion exploding from the screen, loved it.

    Rosalee, thank you so much for yet another delightful “plants and beyond” conversation! I have Guido’s book and yarrow is one of my top 5 so this one was a must see but it went even beyond my expectations! From the sound of the yarrow stalks to interspecies communities and non localized consciousness, I was loving every minute. it was like the film “My Dinner with Andre” but between passionate & compassionate plant people! Thanks for such terrific and life enhancing conversations✨🌿

    Plants are plants, it's this creativity mentioned in the video that would keep all of us in a conversation so inspired that we would keep adding compliments and poems to plants forever. It's addictive to hear people talking about plants like this. But I don't agree that plants have any advantage over anything else to keep us healthy. You eat the plant and you don't need to think about it the same way you think the thought and you don't need to eat it. But it is also a concious thought with a body full of healing information. Same with posture, feeling, sound, friends, meaning, breath... We use them through different body holes, but we need them constantly to heal each other and poop them goodbye being more beautiful and inspired than when we found each other.

    Wow delightful storytelling from Yarrow, Guido and their creative spark. I was drawn to the talk b/c of Yarrow..being one of my fav plants. Having not grown herbs for so many years...dancing with a chronic condition for 16 yrs, dangling often on that precipice....after 2 more years of continuous loss, this spring I got seeds and they are beginning to blossom, waiting for support to get them in the ground. I love the spirit of plants or whatever that inspires you to CREATE. A lovely synergy of Entanglement. lol .Yippee.

    Absolutely mindblowing. Probably Rosalee's best interview. Guido Mase shares his profound and genuine knowledge about plants and our relation to them, the meaning of life, how to be in a different existence and community with the cosmos... it resonates deeply and true - and is the kind of vision that brings the beauty and mystery of life closer to us. And the sacredness of living! Much Gratitude!!!

    Guido is also talking about a modern take on macrobiotics. The environmental pressures cause the plants to create what they and we need to adapt to the current outside pressures. I have noticed that plants needed often show up on peoples’ s property about the time they need them. Consciousness as a universal field that unites us all helps to understand how this works. Thanks so much! Love his first book!

    That is soooo true. Since I started using Stevia and stopped with artificial sugars and white flour, I've literally stopped craving cakes and pastries and chocolate and pretty much anything that contains sugar and I used to have it every day. It's also very amazing that I've been looking at this plant more than usual here lately as it grows wild everywhere and I've been asking myself what it is and how it's called and now this video popped up. Amazing, just amazing. It's almost like it was calling me to find out more about it but I never attempted to look it up yet here it is 😁💥💖

    My husband & I were processing chickens and my husband cut his thumb terribly, to the bone. I had to use yarrow to stop the bleeding even so we could see how bad it the cut was. Stopped the bleeding instantly and then we glued it together. The cut look amazing, no inflammation of any kind. Amazed my husband too, which was kind of fun all by itself.

    In your intro you say to "grab your cup of tea..." I vote you start adding to it, and adding "...a notebook, and a pen, and let's get started."

      More often the white flowers are worked with for medicine. The best way to test for similarities is through your own senses. How do these varieties taste/smell/feel compared to white. Of course you need to know how the white is for the comparison, but that's truly the best way to start working with a similar but different plant.

    • @VitalistCoaching
      @VitalistCoaching Před 2 lety +3

      Yellow yarrow is a staple of so many front yards here in New Mexico. I planted a seedling a couple weeks ago. No idea what color the flowers will eventually be but I’m assuming yellow since that’s what I’ve seen most often here. The day after planting, I cut my finger. I ran to yarrow, chewed up a leaf for a spit poultice, and it worked magically to stop the bleeding! I was amazed and so grateful.

    • @kimber8568
      @kimber8568 Před 2 lety +2

      In the realm of flower essences, the red or pink is most often used to clear emotional energies you may have taken on from someone. The yellow is more for stability when one speaks and the white more for enviromental energies that are not the best for you. Flower Essence Society has a creation, Yarrow Special Formula, good for empaths or those with chemical sensitivities. Hope this wasn't too off-topic, just another entangled web, lol
