Thank you so much for your concern! Fortunately, our family wasn't in the flooded area, so everyone is safe. The food at the restaurant was indeed delicious, and we enjoyed our date night. @kimaltman8164 I feel exactly the same way. That accent is definitely fake and it actually reminds me of a racist comedian trying to make fun of an African accent! Yes, she actually said it, then when people posted comments complaining about her remark, she said it was Koree who told her it was his black skin/melanin staining the sheets . After making the comment , she even held up a pair of dark brown sheets next to her face and said that's why she'd bought that colour! I don't watch their videos often. I just feel really sad at how she has convinced so many people that she is genuine and humble. She posted a so called apology afterwards which made me feel sick - blaming her Amish background for her ignorance. How could anyone believe that someone's skin colour can stain sheets? Unbelievably thousands of fans believed it was said innocently and that she meant no harm by it and because she was married to a black man, she could never be racist. Actually, that's not entirely true as I know of two people who dated black people and still used racial slurs against them and appeared to act superior and condescending towards them. I did an online search and found quite a few white people admitting they had racist opinions and beliefs, even although they had a black partner. She deleted the comments that she didn't like but not all of them so as not to make it too obvious. She also blocked some people from their main channel for saying how offended they were. When she was organising the gender reveal party for Koree's relatives, her mother in law was sitting beside her and said they should have more than one type of meat as Josiah, Koree's cousin (who Sylvia referred to as deaf and dumb!) doesn't eat chicken. She then said in front of her mother in law, that 'all the African women' (ie Koree's sisters and mum) thought she should serve more than one type of meat, not just chicken. That's not just an African thing, serving different types of meat at a party! Imagine if his sister had said similar and had referred to Sylvia and her mum as 'all the white women'!
I doubt that Koree and Sylvia care about offending any of their viewers. Remember how they lied to, manipulated and disrespected their viewers by deleting a bible quote and blocking the viewer who left the bible quote on a Sunday but allowing Kyle to harass them for several days over several vlogs? They even had a live at Kyle's suggestion so that Kyle could harass them even more on the live. They don't care about their viewers or their viewers' feelings. They care about the donations. Period.
Yes, that's so true. It's all about the money sadly. Sylvia especially will manipulate people and situations without hesitation just to achieve their goal of making as much money as possible. I don't know what's more disturbing - the dishonest, manipulative behaviour or the fact that people in their thousands can't see through the act and believe the lies and deception. Hundreds of black people stated they weren't offended by her black skin/melanin comment. I find that totally bizarre. They seem to have succeeded in brain washing so many people, yet the evidence of Sylvia's true character is staring them right in the face. Koree told her she loves money on a previous live and she didn't deny it, saying she doesn't like doing things for free! One person offended by her racist comment said he would never subscribe to their channel. Sylvia replied, knowing that so many people were upset, that she didn't care as they still made money from him watching their videos. I have seen so many nasty, sarcastic and arrogant replies Sylvia has written to people's comments, yet people either don't read them or dismiss them as being justified. Disgusting how they used Kyle to make more money too.
@@Jane-uv7km We can't read other peoples minds but I'm thinking some of those people don't read all of the comments. Also, not all black people have the same life experiences and not all black people have the same feelings about certain situations. Most viewers (about 80-90%) are not subscribers so a significant drop in viewers will not reflect in their subscriber numbers. Most of the views that we see on their vlogs are not the views for which they will be paid because most of those views are not full views or the viewer did not watch the entire vlog. Most Kenyan CZcamsrs are paid less than US$2 per 1,000 views and views only count if the entire vlog is watched until the end. No wonder they rely on donations and use manipulative tactics for money.

"Sick" is lying to, manipulating and disrespecting your viewers while still hoping for donations from these same viewers. That's "sick". The bible quote that they deleted - Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
