About Me: Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college-aged characters. Her novels often stem from her own experiences growing up in the small town of Hawkinsville, Georgia, where she learned that being popular always comes at a price and relationships are rarely as simple as they seem.
Sarra started indie publishing in 2010 and has sold over three-quarters of a million copies of her books.
She is a devoted (obsessed) fan of Hello Kitty and has an extensive collection that decorates her desk as she writes. She currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her amazingly supportive husband, her adorable red-headed son, and her beautiful little girl.

Just finished watching last week's coffee chat and I really needed to hear about joy. My life has been topsy turvy since my dad's hospitalization. Heneeds a lot of care now and I can't do it by myself. It is hard to say that because I wanted to take care of him solely. When you were talking about joy in your life, it made me realize that I need time for myself so I can take very care of him. You always have the best advice and I live for your coffee chats. I think your video lengths are perfect 😊. I can't wait to hear about the release date, I am so excited to read another great book written by you. 😍. Have a great week.

  • @PlanwithLaken

Team will watch all videos regardless of length!! 🎉❤

It's not selfish, especially when what you do supports your family. If other people don't like it, they can go home.

sarra, im relatively new to your channel - since last fall but undeniably the positivity here, in your facebook group etc, just speaks testament to your character. you have alluded to the fires and your family issues but today is the first time i have learned the stories and seriously, sorry for your uncles loss - but these people are missing out stuck in this narc's web. too bad for them. we are thankful for you.

I’m here - because of your sweet, genuine, uplifting personality. Hands-down. Interactions with you, your channels, your content, etc. leave me in a better place. My world becomes brighter and happier with you in it. More seems ‘possible.’

  • @fantasyafield

I needed all of this so much, thank you!!! 💚💚💚

Missed the Coffee Chat Live today but totally resonating with what you were saying about your kindle. I was really struggling with not wanting to pick mine up to read for months now. The cover was old and made it harder to hold. I love to read myself to sleep and will prop it up against a pillow to read in bed but hate reaching out to turn the page. So I avoided using it until I recently got a new cover on Etsy that makes it look like a book and then stumbled upon a remote control page turner. I know both things are so totally unnecessary but they have made such a huge difference in my desire to pick up my kindle to read and just the joy I feel now when I use it.

Today's conversation touched deep in my heart. I, too, have separated myself to have peace. You articulated the added cost of those we love and believed loved us who, for a lack of a better term, made a choice to leave our lives. ❤ the heartbreaking reality of narcissistic behavior is how much destruction swerals around the narcissist. Even in our hard-won peace, the grief of loss is present.

  • @francineh.7825

Condolences on the passing of your Uncle. Being estranged from family during a loss is hard ❤

  • @rachelstallings5460

Very interesting conversation from Graham Stephan about taking a step back (what happened) and also how he was afraid to change because he didn't want to sink his channel in terms of CZcams algorithm and also the cost of pursuing CZcams above all else.

  • @katybroyles2805

Intuitively... He loved you and he prayed for you. Even if he didn't really believe in prayer. He wished the best for you, and often.

  • @jilliancastle4885

I read before bed every night. I haven't missed a night in over 4 years. If I didn't, I wouldn't get through as much as I do. I also listen to an audio book while exercising five days a week, and also in the car.

Virgo, multi-tasker and perfectionist as well as people pleaser and I never feel like I'm good enough - that's me

  • @elizabethgarris5733

I hate that I missed this Coffee Chat, but I was busy being a Grandma. :D

  • @selenastevenson4256

    Sorry for your lose!!!❤

  • @lindaholbrook7447

I'm so sorry for your loss 😞

  • @SusanGHaws

So glad to catch the replay. I appreciate your openness and encouragement.

  • @phases.of.growth

My heart goes out to you Sarra <3

Normally I like videos that are 10-20 minutes in length, but yours are different. Yours are NEVER boring, drawn out, or repetitive like most long videos are. You’re always interesting, helpful, and uplifting. And I like that the videos are often of varying lengths. Whatever you put out, I’ll watch it!
