The Pythagorian Theorem still works in Canada, but it's now Eh² + B²=C²

Best comment I've ever seen
Hahahhaa too funny
You're not funny. You're an idiot
B for back bacon, C for Canadian Tire
You know a true coaster enthusiast when you see him walking from his budget hotel all the way to the entrance.
Haha usually I'm all about the budget hotels but with the girls i book nicer ones. We stayed at the monte carlo
@@AirtimeThrills Monte Carlo is a budget hotel my dude. We don't typically have nofrills options like Motel 6 near any amenities.
@@ryanweatherby9571 Oh ok well for me that's a fancy hotel and the Motel 6's, Days Inns, Super 8's are the budget ones. I paid over 250 a night so that was way more than I spent on any other hotel on that trip (Marriotts, Hamptons, Holiday Inns)
@@AirtimeThrillsIt's the biggest city in the country, and Major Mack is like 4 intersections from the Toronto city border. Hotel prices have skyrocketed post COVID and it would typically be more like $120-150 compared to $250 downtown. Makes Wonderland much more of a home park than a destination - the line up isn't worth the premium of visiting a busy metropolitan area.
I DID TOO!!!!!!!!!! I may or may not have seen you there tho@@AirtimeThrills
This is where my British superpower comes in, being able to convert from metric to imperial and back again at the drop of a hat 😂.
Yeah, think we conquered them all so no wonder they’re all messed up 😂
American math and science courses spend weeks teaching you how to convert to the metric system. In college. We're really screwing over young people by refusing to switch
I just go with the Bob and Doug "double it and add 30" method.
You guys invented the imperial system after all, hence the name.
You should have a Sophie scale for how good a ride is because she’s very honest. I live vicariously through these videos for wanting more credits.
Yeah a sophie scale would be useful
Congrats to Sophie on 200! Awesome accomplishment-keep riding girl it’s always nice to see other girls riding coasters!
Time warp is fantastically bizarre! I would totally ride that 100 times to avoid Flight Deck. It is so rough and I rode it in 2010.
I’m glad you got back to Canada’s Wonderland. It obviously wasn’t my home park growing up since I lived near Buffalo but I made several trips with family and friends prior to moving out of New York. I can remember riding coasters like Ghoster Coaster and Silver Streak years before I finally had the courage to ride Predator and Mind Eraser.
I’ll agree that this park has lacked when it comes to the quality of some of the coasters, and even though I’ve seen it as a Kings Island sister park for years it feels like Kings Island has gotten much better over time. Also, with how busy that park gets a lot of Canadian families prefer traveling to Darien Lake and spending a weekend in the campground.
I know you were there for the coasters and hardly got to ride any flat rides, but in my opinion they probably have the best flat ride collection of any park in North America. I’m not sure there’s any ride out there that compares to Sledge Hammer and since it’s been closed a lot over the years you and Sophie were lucky to get on it.
Thanks for sharing these videos as always. Can’t wait for the Darien Lake video whenever you post it.
Love seeing Sophie get more credits that me 😜😅. Good for you girl!!! I’m only at 150. Hope you all had fun, great video as always. Gotta love the Raging Bull shout out
Best coaster channel and the main reason im an enthusiast! Thank you airtime thrills!
This season, Wonderland decided to operate 7 days a week from opening day (typically they only do weekends until high schools let out) and weekdays in May were fantastic. I had a day where I ran through all the coasters (save for Taxi Jam because I didn't have my kid with me, Snoopy's because it wasn't open yet and the wooden coasters because I didn't want to readjust my spine) in an hour and a half. Definitely something to keep in mind if they continue to do full week openings in May for future seasons.
Cool vlog thanks for posting
Wilde Baast in the front is the only good wooden coaster experience at Canada Wonderland. I also found Time Warp to be worse than Flight deck in the very back row, probably due to little asian girl who's mother asked me to ride with her. Behemoth in the back car is my favourite in the park, followed by Leviathan in either the front or back,, the Yukon Striker, Then Vortex in the back, then Bzck Lot Stunt Coaster, then, Dragon Fyre, then Wilde beast in the front. The park is always slammed; if you get a skip the line pass you're lucky if you ride a coaster every 25 minutes, as it gets more attendance than any other Cedar Fair park including Knott's. Thanks for posting!
Glad you got to ride some of the flats, and especially our one-of-a-kind Sledgehammer. I love it, love it, love it and hope that it lasts forever.
For Mighty Canadian Minebuster you should have included a clip of a Canadian professional wrestler like Lance Storm or Edge using the maneuver known as the spinebuster.
So, the reason why Time Warp decided to hide from you was because it knows it’s gonna get ripped out for the next best thing! WING COASTER! Wooo wooo!!!
Do hope you enjoyed your day at Canada's Wonderland. I love Yukon, its so insane. There are rumors that Time Warp and Flight Deck are being removed. Dont know if its true. We will be getting a new coaster in 2025. Congrats to Sophie, what a brave girl. Im scared of Leviathan. Amy is a cutie. You could have taken her on Treetop Adventures. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah I told my wife about that but after Amy went crazy on the playground at Lost Island she kept her away lol
Sophie's 100th coaster is better than mine, my 100th was Sidewinder at Hersheypark. Luckily my 200th was more respectful being Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia.
As always fun video!
On Saturday I went to Michigan’s Adventure and achieved my tenth credit on Zach’s Zoomer!
as a very Canadian Canadian I've never been. BUT this summer for my birthday (the 28) I'm going! I'm going with my bff cousin brother mom and dad. we got fast lane so LETS GOO!! my first giga I'm so happy!! Great vlog and I wish the fires would stop, its just said and also... it will probrably be my FAVOURITE coaster in Canada
Chris, glad you had a much better time this year.
Love the vlogs! Congrats to Sophie on 200! I'm hoping to get back down to World's of Fun soon and make Zambezi my 200!
Marineland!!!!! OMG… that place is a sight to see (it covers a ton of land with not a lot of rides). Dragon coaster seems half finished.
Yukon Striker looks interesting. I’m very interested to see what 245 feet on a dive is like
Best first drop of any dive i've ever been off. The dive into the lake through Vortex's helix is spectacular.
@@queenlilac7608the vest restraints kill the airtime on the drop but the forces are still very strong.
@@Jack28139 i wasn't bothered by the vests really, even with them compressing my chest a bit. That said, i always loved dives for the fast first freefall more than the air time. That feeling of diving into a last minute pull out makes me feel like a fighter pilot.
Then striker has a really fun layout after that, so it'll be tough to ever see it get topped as my favourite dive.
Yea, it’s the best Dive Coaster in the World, tallest, fastest, longest and a one of kind Element … ATT’s is off his rocker on that one
Yukon is my favorite dive coaster
It would really benefit the City of Vaughan if they extended the TTC subway line from Vaughan Metro Centre up to Canada’s Wonderland. That hour long walk would take no more than 10 minutes to traverse.
There is a bus from VMC right up to wonderland
@@SadCanadianThoosie trains are cooler than buses
I think Leviathan was a perfect 200 for sophie!
Ride sucks
I love Canada's wonderland but my last visit at the park, it was really overcrowded and I didn't enjoy my day as much as I was hoping. I'm glad I finally did Yukon Striker though, it was incredible.
I was at Candada's Wonderland for the first time about a year and a half ago. Just hearing the words "flight deck" gave me war flashbacks.
Also Sophie's credit count is now 3x mine. Wow.
Great to see you guys react to the home park haha! My friend and I, both enthusiasts, happened to be there the day you were lol
I loved the Dr. Evil cameo. I am interested in getting up to Canada's Wonderland, but the States just has far too many interesting destinations to visit.
I love your sense of humor in these. I rode the SLC at Lost Island last weekend, and yeah, that thing is so horrible. I have it even below Flight Deck. But Matugani is elite! It's too bad that Time Warp wasn't open for you, because I do think it would've been redeemed. It's actually a decent ride if you jam yourself in there (no room to get jostled around). Most importantly, congrats to Sophie on # 200, and a very worthy coaster to get that honor.
I actually did jam my face into the padding last time I rode Time Warp, didn't make it a whole lot better lol
"Even with great operations and no breakdowns"
Time warp: are you sure about that
Went to Canada's Wonderland for the first time yesterday. The 3 B&M are amazing, Leviathan is now my number 1 and Time Warp is the worst thing ever. Oh and Wilde Beast is actually fun, and, in my opinion, the best wooden coaster in Eastern Canada. It was also smoother than Mighty Canadian Minebuster
Damn, you get the Bubbles "Hardcore" award for those 4 mile walks at each new location. I've got to ask, what's the longest walk you've made by foot to make it to a park opening? And my next question should be obvious, why not get accommodations closer to the parks you attend, so your walk isn't so long? Great videos, especially when Sophie joins you, but I'll leave a thumbs up just for the walks, as that's the least I can do. LOL
Wow well done Sophie. I think 💭 your credit count is now officially more than El Toro wifey. I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I’m right 😂🎉🎉❤
This might have been the funniest video you have ever made. I was cracking up :)
Great video; headed up to that park in a couple months. And go Sophie! I wish my 22-year-old son or my wife liked coasters.
"US Conversion, less than Canadian" Lol
Yes unfortunately it's impossible to get all the coasters done at CW without fastlane. Congrats to Sophie for 200 credits!
Airtime Thrills is just like Rocky Horror Picture Show: "Let's do the Time Warp again!"
I am living vicariously through Sophie's credits. lol
“No offense to your other cousins” 😂
That was an awesome 200th coaster Sophie ❤
I love so many of your video types, but Sophie really steals the slow when she's on ❤😂
As I've said about Canada's Wonderland .... outside of the Big 3 (Behemoth, Leviathan and Yukon Striker) the coaster collection isn't that great IMO. What I'd like to see is both wooden coasters (Mighty Canadian Minebuster and Wild Beast) retracked by GCI
Vortex is at least decent, but yeah, that supporting cast of coasters needs some serious help.
Love vortex. Surprisingly fast and good positive G.
Backlot stunt coaster used to have a bunch of special effects but they turned them off.
Hopefully they ditch time warp and flight deck and get some decent mid sized coasters in there
Wonderland good top 3 coasters and imo the best flat ride collection out of any park. It’s a very good park all around.
4:11 They’re not screaming bc it’s fun, they’re screaming bc it’s painful
Congrats on 200!!! Yeet Yeet!!!
The Western world revolves around the automobile. It's a lot easier to notice when you're a pedestrian.
Congrats Sophie!
I like the part where you say it's like T3 meets the Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Saw. Were you talking about the movie Saw or the coaster?
most likely neither, he was probably talking about an actual saw slicing up your ears.
This is the best explanation Ive seen
@SuperNostalgia.who asked
4 miles = 6.43 kilometers
109 CAN = 82.58 USD
Canadian law prohibits a foreign company like RMC from doing something a Canadian company can do, so GCI can do the trick.
I'm sure a Cedar Fair lawyer has already cooked up an argument that RMC is the only company in the world doing its thing in case they ever need it.
I want to ride Leviathan, I have only been on one B&M hyper, (Raging bull) but I want to ride a giga. Your videos are great, keep it up!
It is special
Also 4th!
That's cool! I'm from the U.S.A so Leviathan is far away. I am happy Sophie got to ride it.
Haha, as a Canadian sidewalks just aren’t much as a thing in medium-sized cities. Most people either just walk on the side of the road or don’t walk at all.
my theory on skrush is that chris seems like a guy who sits up really straight, and as a taller guy you really have to slouch on skyrush to have the restraints hit you at your waist and not your thigh
Amy grew so much hair since last time we saw her!
Sophie has to have one of the higher ratios of coasters ridden:coasters possible to ride of anyone shorter than "full-size".
Yaaayyyy🎉 Sophie hit 200! Way to go girl!
Congrats Sophie for 200 credits!
Man, I just rode my *30th* coaster (Thunderbolt at SFNE). Impressed at Sophie's diligence at credit-grinding.
Nice, where does it rank
So am I, having just ridden my tenth and first wooden.
I’ve only just reached 45 this spring. Sophie is well past our league.
@@southeastcoasters #21 of 30, between SFNE's Batman: The Dark Knight and Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. It is much milder than either of those but got extra credit for being a well-preserved classic woodie from 1941 with an interesting history. Mind you, as a non-hardcore enthusiast I tend to avoid riding coasters that sound like they are actually bad, so 21 of 30 is still a good ride.
@@MattMcIrvin I respect your opinion, I haven’t ridden many coasters as well. 24 only. Thunderbolt ranks 15th, behind Tigris at Busch Gardens Tampa, and Pandemonium at Six Flags New England. It’s a solid coaster to transition to Wicked Cyclone, and the ejector hill is very good.
"It's like an alternate universe." XD
love your stuff man, every vlog makes my day!
There was supposed to be a train in the original park plan that went around Frontier Canada. But then Frontier Canada was scraped during construction for costs. Then they added Splash Works in the area it was suppose to be
Are you sure you want to completely demolish Voltare Coaster 1?
Are you sure you want to completely demolish Compact Inverted Coaster 1?
Cant click yes fast enough
Minebuster is my favorite at the park. I hope it never gets rmcd. The final helix is the best element in the park
Sophie is the coolest ever and earning 200 credits is insane!
I mainly go to Canada for skiing (Revelstoke and Silver Star are amazing). But I suppose I could squeeze in this and PNE playland next time I’m up there.
I’m very surprised that Flight Deck wasn’t as bad for you in the front row. It’s been my dead last roller coaster ever since I went on it in the front in 2017.
“It feels like 200l
“Well it should because it is”
Good father. . . protecting Sophie from roller coaster torture. After I rode Outlaw Run last month, I get why you do what you do
Yeah Sophie won't be riding O.R. anytime soon lol
Four more weeks until I'm there. Hopefully it being in mid-August will make things easier than this.
Also, Sophie is HER.
That intro was 10/10
Amy is beautiful, how can she be a monster? LOL Go Sophie GO
Oh behind the scenes its a different story
Dude I don’t know why but this is my most anticipated park and I keep looking more and now into it and even more people are now posting about canadas wonderland and it’s so cool but this video is funny and cannot Wait to Go
We don't have trains, except the Rocky Mountaineer
Been on Dragon Mountain !!! Really good coaster a bit goes through the terrain, BUT the lift hill is by leaps and bounds the WORST lift hill imaginable EVER !!!!
Congrats Sophie on 200!
My 100th credit may be reached by the end of the year..it may happen at Kentucky Kingdom or Holiday World (both 1st time visits)
5 days ago, my 20th credit was ice breaker, mako was 21
Yeah.. very unfortunate what the evolution of B&M dive coasters did. Original 2 US ones have fantastic floating sensations; vest restraints are not meant for dive coasters
Jedi Sophie made an appearance! Good video
Flight Deck can't be any worse than T3 at Kentucky Kingdom. I refuse to believe that.
What do Airtime Thrills, Kyle's mom, and Steelers fans all have in common?
.
.
.
"Blame Canada!"
Just clicked on the video, but I’m super excited for “Sofie’s Savagery”
Lol funny start to the video
Also my 200th credit was Cornball Express since Maxx Force was down last time I was at Great America and it was that or Sprocket Rockets
I'd love to check out Canada's Wonderland one day
How do you have the time and money to go to all these parks? Any tips? I only been to 4 parks this summer
I kinda like Volares. The worlds' worse coaster is Freischütz at Bayern Park.
Yukon is the best dive by far, I got some really nice float down the drop
I know how you feel about not riding Time Warp on your visit. When I was at Holiday World last month, the Raven was closed. That felt even worse than when I visited Disneyland in 2014 and Space Mountain was closed.
Wonderland will always have all 3 trains running no matter the day. Pretty much no exceptions. And it is also literally always packed at wonderland no matter what day you go.
Hell ya my home park getting some love
I mean.. Behemoth is the correct answer to best coaster, but whatever.
You went on the day AFTER school got out for a lot of people. Wonderland is terrible for how jam packed it is. And there's really nothing more the park can do. They're efficient, keep their lines moving, just a ton of people. I was happy to get on Vortex in 25 min yesterday. Haven't been on Leviathan in years just because the line is always an hr+. Behemoth is usually better early in the day, and Yukon can be ok early too.
5 years ago on a weekday the park rrally cleared out in the afternoon. I wonder if people went to the waterpark. That day wasn't hot at all so seems like everyone stayed in the main park
I am going to cedar point in two days and I am excited and not, I will get my first ride on steel vengeance and I am ecstatic
The mixture of t3, Texas chainsaw massacre and saw sounds like a ride straight out of the uk
Video idea: rank each manufacturers most expensive coaster in a list from worst to best
Im visiting later this month. Hope i survive time warp
A arrow suspended coaster with a line that never happens on the bat at kings island
Vortex is generally considered the fourth best coaster in Canada's Wonderland, while The Bat is generally considered no higher than sixth best at Kings Island (The Beast and the four new Cedar Fair coasters generally are placed higher), and possibly lower than that (owing to Kings Island's stronger supporting cast of coasters). Also, Vortex is presumably easier to find than The Bat (seriously, The Bat is well out of the way of basically anything else at KI).
ride ops at lost island warn you about sitting in front on their SLC before you get on. It was bad in the back also
Did you ever make it to Dragon Mountain? I am going there in two weeks and the latest reviews online say rides are closed at Marineland. Just wanted to see if it's worth the trip or just skip it.
My Grandparents lived in St. Catherines Ontario growing up in the 90s, and they didn't have sidewalks!
Time Warp better than Yukon Striker but nobody is ready for that convo yet
Borderline
I think the Volare in North Korea is the worst coaster in the world, because of the ride model and location.
