Vekoma and Togo don't entirely deserve their reputation. Japanese Togos are actually pretty good, it's their export models that are excessively rough and I have no clue why that is. As for Vekoma, it's the SLC's fault that they have such a bad reputation.

In 1988, at a mere 4 years old, I rode Shockwave at (Six Flags Over Texas) for the first time (back in the 80s the height restrictions were rarely, if ever, adhered to. Additionally, my mom was made to pay an adult ticket for me, which she later argued had made me eligible to ride). It was my first coaster and the one that made me fall in love! A short two years later (1990) I rode the Texas Giant. Nearly died. I was so small -in age and size- that the lap bar didn't even touch my legs. After the first drop while ascending the second hill, I went airborne, literally. Had my mom not quickly reacted and jerked me down, Lord knows what might have happened. Turns out, the rest of the ride was more likely to kill me from a neck-breaking whiplash than my superman trick...talk about painful. I've not rode it since it was re-done.

I just rode that a couple days ago and agree with what you said about it -- even though I find the rough valleying to be a bit more bothersome than you seem to. And it seemed to happen after every hill when I rode it! Each time I rode it, though, I rode towards the back, so that very well may have been an influence towards my experience.

Skyrush restraints seriously suck. No, they do not hurt every single time.
My first painful experience started fine. I didn't think anything was wrong at the station. By the time we got to the top of drop hill I knew this was going to be painful. This was at night, so I didn't know when the next turn was coming. Every motion simply increased the pain and reduced my blood flow. When the ride ended I stumbled off the ride because my entire right leg was completely numb.
I am not exaggerating. The ride staff did not blink either, so I believe this is way more common than it should ever be.

It wasn't painful...suspiciously so....until we exited the ride and I had to pick numerous pieces of bug guts off my partners face. We went this last weekend and I was SO ok with wearing a mask!
The first time I rode the beast, I was young and probably around 4 foot. I was trying to be brave and hold my hands up when we hit the helixes and I smashed my cheek right into the side of the train and got some light whiplash and a good headache before declaring it THE BEST!

This 42 year-old Schwartzkopf is smooth as glass and one of the most intense and thrilling steelies among the 300+ I've ridden. The airtime is unreal and, yes, the single lap bar can cause discomfort on it's powerful hills. Master Anton knew how to get it right.
I don't even bother riding Vekoma SLCs anymore, even if I don't have the credit. They're too miserable. However, I was shocked at a Vekoma loop/corkscrew at Beijing Amusement Park, China because it was actually smooth. Same with free spins. I agree that the restraints on Gatekeeper can make it hard to breathe, especially when trying to take a deep breath. Magnum's lap bars were painful on the thighs when going over the bunny hops, though I didn't notice that so much last year when they put extra padding on the bars. The pretzel turn, however, shook my head so much I got a headache. And when I rode the Vortex at Kings Island, going down the first drop my head got slammed into the restraint so hard I had an intermittent headache for the rest of the day, so I don't even remember much else about my visit (other than a vague recollection of riding Son of Beast when it still had the loop). Not surprisingly, I wasn't sad to see Vortex go.

Just rode The Scream machine at SFOG for the first time in eighteen years last weekend. It is borderline unrideable in the back right now. I literally have bruises from it. Took three rides on it (front, back, middle). I remember crying in line for it when I first rode it as a four year old in 1982, because it was massive and I was scared. I remember crying in line for it at 42 years old last weekend for my third ride through because I knew it was going to hurt me more, lol. I hope by all that is good they retrack that thing completely for it's 50-year in 2023.
P.S. Honorable mention to Blue Hawk in it's former life as Ninja before they put the new trains on it several years ago. It USED to be the roughest ride in the park and that is saying something considering it was next door to the Scream Machine. Now it is an absolute joy to ride over and over.

New fan of your videos as I've spent quarantine getting back into all the coaster things. And I have to say, I usually agree with most of your opinions.
This list really cracked me up. You are fairly tall? And skinny! I'm 5 foot 4 and a bit pudgey and my partner is similar. While I haven't ridden nearly as many coasters as you, I'm from Ohio and I have some crazy contrasts.
Vortex, rode it at a young age when I was just tall enough and it scared me off of looping coasters for years. I rode it a few years ago and it was 100% terrible and painful still as no amount of attempting to hold your head still will help the head shaking pain of being short.
On the other hand (and I have others that have agreed), Gatekeeper is the smoothest, comfiest thing I've EVER been on! That and Valravn have the comfiest overhead restraints ever! Absolutely LOVE them!
As for woodies, a GOOD woodie should beat the shit out of you in a GOOD way which is why I value the Beast more than many and Mystic Timbers is just SO SO good.
As for Arrow overall, oof I do not like them especially with inversions. But Magnum was the coaster that started my obsession and this last weekend, I got a ride in about 20 years later. It's certainly gotten rougher over the years but it was 55 degrees this past weekend. Don't know if that affected the ride but it was the smoothest ride ever and we were randomly assigned front car (no choice with Covid). Yes, the bunny hops still hurt in the best ways possible but it's still the most perfect out and back I've ever met.
And I scored one ride on Steel Vengeance. I can't give a full opinion because it blew my mind but no rerides were available. My ONLY complaint was the restraints. If you have any semblance of a stomach roll, that lap bar is in this awkward position that fights it the whole way, tugging it up! Tugging it DOWN....can't I just have those beautiful Millennium lap bars?

I definitely agree with your PTC choice. Great American Scream Machine is at my (current) home park and I honestly only ride it if my twin brother wants to because he is a rollercoaster junkie but with his autism, he has to have someone ride with him and with those trains, I'm the obvious choice to do so size wise. What hurts the most is the final brake run that slams you into the restraints and if you're in the middle or towards the back you're still in a final airtime moment so you're slammed diagonally down not just horizontally.
