I tried uploading an England campaign awhile after release, got good views but mod kept crashing. Going to retry the campaign as the mod has had some fixes since then.

@@hoplitemike6181 I really hope it comes or some other time period. (For example 218bc the second punic war would be really fun) and then when it's done get senate missions to do a historical accurate conquering (for the Roman's offcourse)👍
For me, Rome Remastered felt better, I prefer the old school settlement building along with stylized campaign map. It is fluid, it is fun and doesn't require you to buy 50 dlcs to fully enjoy the mods.
I echo freelances comments and will add: pilum mechanics that work, phalanx mechanics that work, unit recruitment impacts settlement population, no "BLOB" cities, more open field battles. I can probably think of 10 more reasons if I thought about it.
...and one more BIG one that I forgot about; In RTWR you need to build - and use - siege equipment to crack a fortified town/city. In RTWII you just march a foot unit up to the front gate and they start THROWING torches that soon burn down the gate. WTAF?!?!
I picked up RR-M in the steam Autumn sale and this guide is just the insight I needed to the mod landscape. Thank you.

I dont think there are any plans on this at the moment. On the mod db page someone has asked if it will be ported but there was no response.

It depends on which engine you prefer. For me, the older engine feels much more polished than the one CA has been using since 2009.
