    People are so stuck on the cvt transmission. Every car that has the cvt had issues in the beginning. Now this car hasn’t had any issues with the cvt, I wish people would stop saying the same thing. Why do you think this car is 1 of the most popular rental cars, because it’s reliable and it’s a great car.

    I have this same Altima with awd. It replaced a 2020 Sentra. Like the Altima a lot more. Average 35 mpg. This is my fourth Nissan, less problems than previous Hondas and one Toyota.

    Now it's literally my 1st Nissan Altima to buy.

    I rented this car recently and it was perfect for fuel economy (I did like 34 MPG) and it handled very good, the transmission was fine, very responsive. I didn't like the rearview camera though, because it was very dark, and also I missed auto climate control and especially adaptive cruise control and auto lane centering (it has vibration warning only)

      Adaptive cruise control and dual zone climate is available on SL and SR VC turbo trims

    $30,630 for a fully-loaded Altima is a pretty good deal IMHO. I certainly would be very contented considering I also get Big Altima Energy with that.

    👍🏻👍🏻 I think you get a lot of car for the money. Is it as good as a Camry or accord? Probably not. But it's priced right for what you get.

    Looking into SV with premium package, CVT is not an issue for me

    • @CapELarry
      @CapELarry Před 11 měsíci +1

      It’s not just the driving characteristics. The jatco sourced CVT transmissions have absolutely horrendous reliability. They’re so poorly designed you can’t even find a company that rebuilds them. You just have to buy a new one.

    • @njnikusha
      @njnikusha Před 11 měsíci

      I hope it doesn't come to that, I'm looking into leasing a car. all other cars in a segment are insanely expensive @@CapELarry

    • @haroldbeauchamp3770
      @haroldbeauchamp3770 Před 11 měsíci +9

      @@CapELarryabsolutely false. Jatco reliability is the same as every other major transmission company. Jatco’s last major issue was in 2013. The software update corrected the issues. In 2013-2015, Honda also had major cvt issues that were corrected. In 2014-2017, Subaru had major cvt issues that were corrected. In 2017, Toyota had a major cvt issue and were promptly fixed. No cvt manufacturer has issues now. You’re commenting ignorance and false information. All manufacturers replace the full cvt. This is for customer satisfaction and to reduce the chance of more failures.

      Thank you! Are cars more expensive in Europe?

    • @lukiw7044
      @lukiw7044 Před rokem +1

      @@703Speed For example. I bought my Peugeot 208 in 2019 for 78000 PLN. Today same configuration after inflation this year it cost 101000 PLN. 1$ = 4,10 PLN. But I'm comparing it to 1:1 money conversion. So yes cars in Europe are more expensive. I think that avarage American will save up money for a new car in around 30000$ in a year. Avarage Pole won't.
