    Actually the DIN norms for the paper sizes in A or B line originate in Germany. The clue for both is, you can go up or down a size by folding or doubleing a paper within these lines (A4 is double the size of A5, B5 is double the size of B6... the B sizes fall inbetween the A sizes).
    Sorry for the lengthy unasked for infos 😊. GREAT video!

      The B sizes work exactoy the same and are in sizes between the A sizes (B5 is inbetween A4 and A5)
      The other clue to these A and B sizes is: each time you fold them in half the keep their original aspect ratio. Very neet.

      I agree, unless you already know what size notebook works for you, trying out some different sizes would definitely help. When I was first getting into stalogy notebooks and didn't want to buy three sizes at once, I remember printing out pages that were the same size as the paper (a6, b6, a5) so I could see if the paper was a size I was comfortable with!

    Thank you I was wondering about these Stalogy things, I keep hearing about them. Not something I've seen in a store, but haven't been shopping in quite some time, over a year. And especially thank you for mentioning the number of pages and *COST PER PAGE* omg why does nobody talk about that? You're my kind of analyzer. (I've even been known to not only calculate how many miles per gallon I'm getting, but worked out a spreadsheet where I could also calculate how far my car would travel on one penny of gasoline in feet). Yes I'm weird. But how else can you compare apples to apples without cost per page, or at the grocery store price per ounce and so on? sometimes the biggest size is more expensive than a smaller size, by a LOT.
    I might get that from a math class I took in high school. We had an assignment in Geometry class to go to a local pizza place and figure out what size of pizza was the cheapest. I just looked at plain cheese pizza, and it turned out that Medium was cheapest, by square inches. I was surprised, but maybe it's because more people order that size so they have more of those crusts made up ahead of time? I didn't do it for every combination let's not go crazy here.

    • @KaitlinGrey
      @KaitlinGrey  Před 3 lety

However, some types of notes, such as my notes on books I read, as well as recipes I keep in separate locations (another stalogy and a recipe box) since I take a lot of these types of notes and if I kept them in one place they would fill up my bujo too quickly. I do know of a couple of people who like to use a separate notebook just for notes and collections so they can keep their planning pages separate, I think choosing one or the other depends on what you feel would make most sense to your brain.
