I set up my own planner. I have bought them all, Hobonichi es in every size and, happy planners and Jibun Techo, and filofax…and several others but I never stay for a solid month as I feel boxed in and restricted. I have settled on B6 Tomoe paper preferably, but being on a restricted budget means birthday money or Christmas…when I don’t have Tomoe I am ok with whatever can handle fountain pen ink but recently it has been Pen and Gear at Walmart. I draw my weekly pages over the weekend and have color coordinated ink, blue ink is study or learning, red ink is prayers, black ink is notes and appointments and such…I call it “admin”. Each week I draw my trackers and the pages I need every week and then let the pages happen as they do. I am 59 and it’s just hubby and I am 3 cats, but I love learning so do research daily and have 4 adult sons and 9 grandchildren. I have a wish list at your site…hoping before September. So happy I found your videos today. I subscribed immediately!

Welcome back! My ADD self can’t set up my own days and weeks. I am using and loving my hobonichi cousin. I was tempted with the common planner it would be fun to see that set up. Although the pink standard is really cute the colours on that are gorgeous.

I can’t be responsible for setting up the planner layout ‘cause I just won’t do it 😅 I’ve been out of the loop for a bit but the Common Planner looks like a great option IMO! It has the bones and you’re able to decide how to use all of the space which is nice.
I’ve been a Cousin fan for a long time but I don’t love all the daily pages (wasteful for me because I don’t daily plan). I’m currently using the calendar app on my phone for planning (gasp! 😅) and I’m memory keeping in a Moleskine pocket daily so not helpful to your dilemma, boo!
Wonderland222 - absolutely the best option out there in my opinion.. pretty much like the commonplanner but i like the layouts better.

I love a bullet journal where I set up each week. But I do a different weekly every week cause I like change 😬 but you might be able to set up your weeks in advance? Just don’t date them so if you want to skip a week, you can!

I’m waiting for the B6 Sterling Ink Planner; I already ordered & received CP A5, weeks, & Standard. I’m back in school & I also am in poor health. Which equates to me having to live part-time at the VA (lol). So I have a lot of appointments to keep track of. I’ve used A5 Hobonichi for awhile & I introduced my grown son & his partner to Hobonichi. They love it, they also utilize the Hobonichi Weeks as well.
Right now I’m enjoying creating my own layouts. However I’m finding that the size of the weeks was just too small, so I searched for something a little bit bigger & am enjoying the B6 slim to B6 regular sizes. I thought I would love the Standard but mmmm it’s not the size I’m looking for.
ADHD is my superpower & it just helps me to organize, plan, & most of enjoy the classes, content, along with the plethora of medical appointments, acupuncture, & all the other things that life throws at me.
I’m happy to find things that match not just my planner but my attitude. I love sparkly things! And I have a saying, “I’m like glitter I get everywhere!” It’s nice to see you share your talent Katie, I love what you’re making & thank you for sharing your layouts with me cause it helps me to be organized.
Kate! Always love a video from you. I feel like June is my reset month too, when I move into a different planner. The old school TN's were definitely my jam too back in the day. Setting up each week in some of these planners is too much work for me. I am all over the place, I moved back into my Erin Condren daily duo, I had abandoned it in 2022. Now I am just re-dating it with stickers. I love using stickers in my planning, my handwriting is BIG lol. So EC seems to be the only thing that works for my planning. I do use Archer and Olive for my creative journals though.

Those jelly covers are gorgeous!!! I’ve been using the b6 and a5 but I’m thinking I might try the b6 next because I find the a5 to be a little big for my liking! 🙈 I really like how you’re using the big pages though for your calendars !!

I use the Hobonichi Cousin so far. But you could always go back to the Passion Planner. Still the best video of all time. lmao. I couldn't set up my own planner it's just too much work.

Is the B5 the biggest one for the Stalogy notebooks/planner? I just ordered an A5 but I want a bigger one lol I don’t mind the A5 I can still use it. But I was wondering if B5 is the biggest size? The audio on my phone is not working atm so I wasn’t able to hear anything :( thanks for sharing by the way!
