Amazing Cinnamon Rolls with Tangzhong Method 폭신촉촉 탕종 시나몬 롤

  • Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel, Cheffie Fingers. I am chef Jay and today we'll be making the best cinnamon rolls with Tangzhong method. The water roux is going to make your dough extra moist and fluffy!

    Ingredients for Tangzhong
    100g Water
    100g Milk
    37g Flour
    Heat the mixture to 65 degree Celsius, and bring the roux to glutinous stage.
    Ingredients for Dough
    600g Bread Flour
    30g Non-fat Dry Milk
    2 TBSP Instant Yeast
    100g Sugar
    230g Milk
    2 Large Eggs
    120g Butter, melted
    2 tsp Salt
    Ingredients for Cinnamon Mixture
    115g Butter, room temperature
    200g Brown Sugar
    2-3 TBSP Cinnamon Ground
    Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
    Ingredients for Cream Cheese Icing
    170g Cream Cheese
    200g Powdered Sugar
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    Add 1-2 TBSP Milk, if you want runnier consistency.
    * I added some chopped pecan nuts, which is optional.
    *You can reduce the amount of sugar in half, when you're making cinnamon mixture or cream cheese icing.

    Thanks for showing us this! I' like making cinnamon buns and I agree with you that the rolled ones are better - easier to make and easier to eat! I like to put ground cardamom in the dough for a flavor contrast. The texture of mine seems to vary quite a lot with the flour I use so I can't wait to try this method.

    Your video just popped up in my feed, I'm cracking up watching this. You're good and funny, I was surprised to find you only have one video. I was prepared to watch your other videos. Now, the reason this popped up in my feed is because I watched another video for cinnamon rolls made the same way, just last night. The other recipe didn't use powdered milk, I thought the use of it along with regular milk is interesting.

    Hey
    After my dough was kneaded it turned out to be wetty , however it was very very soft but was wetty and couldn’t make it in a shape of ball.

      This could happen for many reasons. But if your measurements were correct, I suggest dusting a bit more flour when your working the dough so it’s easier to form a shape :)
