      Who are the entitled people you are referring to. It certainly wasn't the firm of solicitors, it was the cleaning agency (are they entitled?) that fired the cleaner.
      The firm of solicitors have said they had no problem with her eating the sandwich and asked her employer not to sack her.

      You want to hire people who steal things that look like they have been abandoned? What has she stolen that she has not been caught for?
      Lets get this straight, this person is claiming racial discrimination for being sacked for stealing something that did not belong to her. This has brought the companies reputation into dispute.
      She was not starving. She was not on the streets. She was working.
      The story stinks of a race grifter trying to get some compensation.

    It's quite simple, the rich have private healthcare and have invested in it. Lack of healthcare staff will allow the private sector to pay a premium for staff and charge more of a premium from patients. This increases profit margins and returns and thus the rich get richer while no effect on their own healthcare, at the cost of the average citizen.

    After exhausting the jobfinder as recommended by DWP you end up applying for jobs you're not qualified to do, and you're encouraged to do so by your "advisor". The current rules/regulations re unemployment benefits are kafkaesque in structure. For instance: you're required by law to inform the prospective employer of any issues/problems you have, but in doing so you can then be sanctioned (removal of benefits) by DWP for actively negating your prospect of employment by said employer.

      not really. there needs to be a balance. the wages in this country have been suppressed for so long due to foreign labour.. if they put their pay threshold higher everyone's wages in that sector might go up and might encourage people in this country to do the work. I'm not surprised people don't want to work.. wage is 20000 a year and rent is 24000. why would anyone work if there's nothing to strive for. Let's all become radio presenters and CZcamsr and contribute nothing to society while making 10 times more than the people who actually make the country work.

    • @drummingtildeath
      @drummingtildeath Před 5 měsíci +2

      @kaikai-pb7fh wage suppression due to an influx of foreign labour is negligible.
      Unemployment is extremely low.

      @kaikai-pb7fh that ain't gonna happen. These Tories couldn't care less. As a retired nurse, I am acutely aware that they would never pay health care workers what we are worth. Therefore, the point that you make is extremely doubtful. I don't know if you have noticed but, they are trying to destroy the NHS,not solve the problems within the service. Therefore, the NHS will be ripe for full privatisation. Besides, I know lots of people I wouldn't want looking after my family, especially if they are not suitable to do so.

    When the government thought it was a great idea for brexit WITHOUT solving the problem of staff shortages in hospitals and the at home care service they really sealed the deal on utter stupidity. My Mum was taken into hospital and because she was in for more than seven days she lost her place with the carer service, she needed 2 carers 4 times a day plus me every day as she had no mobility, now because the at home carers companies were all short staffed she had to wait 8 months to get home as they wouldn't let her out without her care plan in place. I had council officials come to the hospital and having meetings with me telling me mum would have to go into a home as she was bed blocking which I refused as I knew once they out her there they would forget about her and she wouldn't get home also I was worried that if we had another lockdown I wouldn't be able to see her and she would have went down hill so she stayed in the hospital with me there everyday until we got her home. I have got so many horrific stories from my time there of patients dying because nobody would feed them because they were short staffed I would help other patients when I was there because it was so bad. Patients who were dying were not shown any respect also the grieving family weren't either they would be dying on the middle of the ward with no privacy for them or their family and it makes older patients feel scared all because these idiots in power told all these people go home we don't want you here and not realising we don't have people who can or will fill the void so countless older people are being left to die due to staff shortages which is disgusting and makes my blood boil. I could give you a hundred horrible stories about the hospital and the care service my mum received so much so I'm terrified to get older

    I as a South African of Indian decent remember (I’m 67) white British people were brought to sou Africa to do jobs reserved for white people. These people were often unsuited for the jobs they were gifted. Plumbers electricians builders and the like. They were dependant on the skills of people working under them ( black and brown men) who were not allowed to be tradesmen and earn the salaries of skilled workers but did the work the “baas” took credit for.
    In factories and workshops they were the managers or foremen,supervising people far more skilled. Lived in beautiful homes expropriated from black and brown people.
    We all know how the British plundered and murdered where ever they went. Your people James,have a lot to answer for.

    It may be an unwelcome comment but UK’s treatment of immigrants contrasts poorly with Russia’s welcome to the hundreds of thousands of refugees from Donbas,Kherson, Kharkiv etc. Families are rehoused and jobs are guaranteed. If you do not believe me, please check your facts first.

      @TheBigB6 No, including if YOU'RE (please note the spelling) British. If a company has a shortage of workers and the reason for that shortage is that potential workers are unable to look after their dependents due to restrictions, then that company is able to lift those restrictions. Care homes will be unable to do this as this is a governmental decision. I hope you and/or any family members you may have don't need a place or help from a care provider anytime soon.

    The new law introduced by the tories is a fantastic step. It means carers, nurses etc can't bring their family with them anymore. This is fantastic because currently one part time minimum wage carer from africa can bring her uncle, 7 children and husband over who can then claim student loans and grants and benefits. It's costing us billions. Now the tories should do the same with students. Why is the family of a Pakistani student allowed to move here and claim benefits and take up school resources? Contact your local MP and tell them to expand it to students.

  • @stephenmurray2851
    @stephenmurray2851 Před 5 měsíci

    Why should a menial minimum wage worker or student being here means they get to bring the whole village. The family members can claim benefits, student finance etc. It's disgraceful.

    • @Accountforstuff
      @Accountforstuff Před 5 měsíci +6

      Probably because we are in desperate need of care workers and most people don't want to move countries if it means their minor kids aren't welcome and need to be left behind. This isn't an all or nothing game. The tories are perfectly capable of writing policy which says children can travel with their mothers. Nobody is asking for the whole village, that's a ridiculous strawman you've invented.

      Yes, because everything always has to be all or nothing. It's not possible to write legislation that limits it to children and a spouse, it can only possibly be implemented if the whole country gets to move too. Come on, you were born with a brain, time to get using it.

      @tombartram7384 well I'm sure you'll be delighted to know that the JoB party is not standing in any election. It would probably also be useful for you to know that since 2013 with Cameron in charge deportations have fallen over 50% and are trending down. Immigration levels have about doubled in the same time frame. Under the previous Labour government immigration increased much more slowly and there were far more deportations. It's almost like Tories don't want to prevent high immigration for some reason. Facts are facts, regardless of how "tough on immigration" they will pretend to be to get your vote.
