They do look different sized, could be stress in the log but I was over by a mill with a brand new LT40 super and I measured a stack of lumber he had and the boards varied any where from 1" to 1 1/4 in that stack. Maybe the WM setworks isn't that accurate or who knows.
Why are the European versions always better? That under bed clamp is so good.

when dry they plain it to exact measures. but often you dont need it to be exact
If you are going to pay 80 thousand + for a mill setup it better be accurate
