Dr. Grande, I’m in my senior year of my Psychology undergrad. THANK YOU immensely for your SPSS tutorials! My textbook sucks and I have to teach myself so your videos are immensely helpful. 😅

Dr. Grande I found your channel initially because of the myka stauffer drama and your coverage on celebrity mental health topics. Now, I'm watching this tutorial for my stats class in my first semester of my MPA program. Funny how youtube works, thanks for the tutorial.

What is the point in defining missing values, if it's going to show that you have missing values from the cell just being blank anyhow?

To tell the difference between: missing values that you don't actually have AND values that you forgot to fill in. Maybe?

Hi Todd, many thanks for your missing value teaching., I followed your steps and it was quite helpful. However, am confused with the analysis I did using Descriptive Frequency and on the analysis result table, it shows the missing values by the left side of the analysis. Is that normal? I thought it won't specify there the number of missing values in the analysis since the missing values have been replaced with the data.I will really appreciate your help. Many thanks in anticipation!

What if I were coding information like GPA or GRE values? Would I just use the straight 0-4.0 for GPA as my range with no discrete value or would I enter something just in case an entry was transposed or transcribed incorrectly? Same for GRE values?

Hello Dr Grande! Nice video! Any idea about how to calculate the reliability of a questionnaire in spss if we have missing data in some questions? Is it using the usual cronbach alpha?? And what should be putten in the cells of the missing data in spss?

Hi Dr. Grande. Thanks a lot for this video. My question is.. Is there a way to define a missing value (discrete) to all variables simultaneously?

Hi Dr Grande, I have a large data set with a lot of participants refusing to answer questions. As I need to pair some items together via computing variable function, they will negatively impact the total score of the scale. How can I get rid of the refused items? They have already been coding as "99"

I still have confusion. If ask a question from the respondents regarding A. Yes and B. No, and if someone didn't answer to the question then in that situation what I put?
    Please help me ASAP
