Yamaha Timber Wolf 250 sat for years. Will it run?

  • Yet another machine made it's way into the shop that has just been sitting for years. The good thing is it was running when part. The bad thing is it's full of old gas that I bet has our carb in pretty rough shape with the ethanol it contains.

    Ethanol is the gift that keeps giving, has it saved the planet yet? Where I live they made it illegal for the regular grade fuel to NOT have ethanol in it. Most small engine warrantees are voided by ethanol. I only run it in my daily drivers. All my small engines, and carburated engines have to get Super (ethanol free) fuel now. That's affordable.

    I have one of these and my problem when dumping the old gas was completely cleaning out the gas tank from the gunk u got any tips

    You maybe able to help me if you still have the timberwolf do you know the exact size of the rear rims I know the size is stamped on but its worn away all I can see is 10! Had to change a tyre and the rim is soo worn it just folded in 😂 and when I search timberwolf rear rims nothing comes up 😮

      @@travharrell1713 the ultrasonic cleaner that harbor friend sells is what I’ve been using. You just have to watch with it not to let anything aluminum sit in it too long as it will discolor it.
