Was listening to this while at the hospital recently because I had to get an MRI scan bit while I was there something weird happened. While I was on my way there, I heard a noise that sounded like gunshots being fired from a silencer and I got! Went flying and all! Strange how that happens.

Actually, Araki put in a MTV music list "Dancing In The Dark" by Bruce Springsteen, and he also said that Bruce Springsteen's Album "High Hopes" is a masterpiece in the note of JoJolion Chapter 29, You're welcome
Oh, and, this is not from Hirohiko Araki, but from Hayao Miyazaki, he said that he felt motivated while listening to Bruce Springsteen's song "Hungry Heart"

This song came on the radio this morning as I drove through Starbucks. The guy at the server window smiled and started bobbing his head to the music and said, "Bruce!". He couldn't have been more than 22 years old. That's when you know you're timeless: you have staying power from someone like me at age 65, and from someone in their 20's. 😊

I'm 22 and love this song! Sadly, no radio stations here in the UK seem to want to play Bruce's music - that's why I just rely on my playlists, guaranteed good music plays consistently!
My son is 22. We've talked about how a lot of 80's music is still relevant today. Even his friends have said "Yeah I know who they are. They're legends." In reference to people like Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Kiss just to name a few. I think that's pretty dang cool 😎

With this song Bruce kind of wrote the anthem for old music video comment sections - several decades ahead of their time!
@@rjjcms1I know what you mean.
Trust me, Bruce and the E.Street band were massive. I remember no being able to afford tickets, so my friends and I paid for parking and just sat in the parking lot hearing a concert from outside. Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
I remember when I thought, “My days are just beginning”, when I would hear this song. I had so many hopes and dreams: most unrealistic, but a few that made it. When I hear this song, I remind myself that looking back doesn’t have to be sad. I’ve come a long way. And I thank God for artists like Bruce. If only he knew how he kept my spirit alive......
Wow you just said what I feel when I hear this song. I think this was the first tape I ever owned as a kid. I asked my parents for it because I liked Dancing In The Dark and fell in love with this song. I would listen to it and think wow life is going to be good when I get older.

How many are there?
And where the sick one
I really gotta tell my friend Bobby Jean about this song
Makes me sad and happy at the same time. You often don't know you are making a great memory til it's over...our lives are filled with a series of short special moments we often don't appreciate at the time. Appreciate your friends, your youth, your kids as it will all pass by before you know it
Yes...Sad Happy
But its totally fine that you dont appreciate it at the time, because that means you’re living in the moment. If you appreciated it as it happened you wouldnt be truly living in the moment.
1984
In the blink of a young girls eye!!
YET THIS P.O.S. ENDORSED JOE BIDEN / DEMOCRATS ..
Went to my 50th high school reunion last week. I put my athletic accomplishments behind me a long time ago. I can't believe how many people remembered those things I did in high school. It made me think about those days since then. I found out that one of my records in track was broken recently. Didn't know I held it for 48 years. I guess I can be proud of what I did now. Seems everyone else was.
Good for you brother, really, I mean that. I hope life smiled on you my friend.
Rock on! Sometimes you don't know how good it was, one foot in the past and one in the present. It's all we have....
P.s. I'm sending this to the guys I reconnected with at my 45th. We are spread out but all remember the good times...
You must have been a real "mover-n-shaker" (or held a very high seat at the "Cool-People'sTable" during lunch hour) in high school if so many people remembered you and your accomplishments so many years later. Me? I got booed at my ten year reunion....After coming up on stage, or in front of everyone to accept some prize I won. (No shit--I had no idea I was that unpopular... Will never go back to another one....Reunion, that is).....Though restraining orders have kept me away from, like "Booger,"** combing high schools for girlfriends....I especially liked "hunting" for girlfriends at the private all girl Catholic schools, even though I went to a public school--the uniforms those girls wore got me more "hot-n-bothered" than the cheerleading outfits that the girls at my school wore---except when they did those kicks, and twirled around so their skirts gave me a quick look at their little red "Victoria's Secrets" they wore. Unfortunately "Mercy High School in San Francisco has closed 😭😭😭
**Must see, or be familiar with, an early 80's movie called Revenge Of The Nerds to get this reference .
What matters is who you are now. Anyone can have a good start, but very few have a great finish. I was a likable young man, but nothing exceptional. Came to realize that the lives of most of my peers are very dull and with few real accomplishments. Stopped caring a long time ago. Now I am focused on serving others, as well as putting God first in everything I do.

Bruce and the E Street Band are just TIMELESS. I recently have a new found love and appreciation for this man's music after years of ignoring it.
Same here… I was 12 when this was released. 39 years on and I was back in my home town & I finally recognised the ‘ i was walking in & he was walking out’ line. Some people live in the past & some fixate on what will be. I say all we’ll ever have is the right here & right now. 🙏🏼
This song is so true man. Time flies by and you sink in the monotony of your every day life and it seems like some of the best times you had are memories and at the time you didn't even know it. Youth is wasted in the young.
Adolescence isn't as enjoyable as the biased, selective, memory of adolescence. The character portrayed in the video is from Jersey, where heavy equipment operators are unionized. He's got a wife, a real home, two sons he obviously adores, and to whom he is passing the tradition of baseball. You know how many people would love to have the monotony of that life?
He's an old jock, who didn't know the odds were 1 in 890,000 of playing one day in the majors. He should be happy with his lousy job that pay's $80,000-$100,000, embrace his blessings, and thank God he's fortunate enough to be a family man.
I never did that, but I know plenty that have or do. Since I retired have gone back to traveling the world, places I saw years ago and new places. Sadly, as you say youth is wasted on the young. I am into photography and am simply no longer able to do those long hikes into nowhere or climb the 1000 steps to the Buddha statue.
