Defeating Yan Long in 4 Turns [] Octopath Traveler: CotC

While others are fighting guardians in the woods, I'm having fun with this guy. This clear is completely stable and doesn't require any A4s beyond the free ones from Yunnie, Tikilen and Elvis.

Notes:
- A 4-turn Yan Long is quite difficult to pull off because you need to break with either Light or a thief, which means you'll be losing significant damage. It could be more ideal with a light comp, but I honestly don't see how it's possible without A2 right now. If you don't have A2, aim for a 5 or 6 turn instead, as it's much more manageable.
- As long as your attackers are A1 there is no RNG to worry about. Otherwise you really need Richard's sword debuff to land, A2 to crit and Olberic to do a 4 or 5 hit with Thousand Spears (or Three To Five Spears as I like to call it).
- Some speed manipulation is necessary to make this work. Edea/Richard must be the fastest, then Fiore, then everybody else.
- Lynette is only here for her passive, so if you have her unawakened, with lvl 1 ultimate and at 4.5 star, it makes no difference.
- Edea can be swapped with Odette or Eliza if you have them to perform the same role. Otherwise you should make for a 5 turn instead.

It's crazy how in this game it's "easier" to one shot an enemy rather than to tank or out-heal them.

its a bit off topic but i want to ask a question regarding the traveler of memories banners. when a new unit gets released, can the old units still be sparked if you reach 200 pulls? im saving for rinyuu and would be nice if its still worth to get to 200 pulls in case i get her early!

Yes, old memory travelers can be sparked with 200 fragments on later memory banners. And the featured unit is always at 150.
There have only been a single exception as far as I know, and that is the Bargello/Sonia twin banner.
Herminia, Auguste and Tytos will not appear on these banners, though. As they are memory "champions", not memory "travelers".

Yeah for this they are necessary. But you can pull off a one-break without them, but it will take more turns.

Yes it does, so A2 doesn't really benefit from Lynette's passive here, other than extension of barrad's.
