Machine: Bernina 770QEE
Serger: Bernette 334DS
Music: Tagirius, Two Pianos - for sewing sequences; Onion Capers for machine set up sequences - Jak na to + styl
Enjoyed today’s format a lot, music was fun. Didn’t know a serger could be a cover stitch machine! Still so much to learn
Thank you. I am trying new things! As far as the coverstitch goes, it depends on the machine. Mine has the option to convert. Usually the serger will have 5 thread options if it does a cover stitch.
Those are super cute! You must let us see them on you. Great job 👏
Thank you! You will see them in a few upcoming videos, because I'm living in them right now. 😁
Very cute! Sinclair has a really good free cardigan pattern too called the Harper. I always forget to go to hobby lobby! I need to go there more often. Can’t wait to see what you make next week.
Thank you! I will check it out. I liked so many of thier patterns. Lots of good staple pieces. 🪡
Love the Tee… Great video. okay
Great video and tee… love the Lemons… I need to get a Bernina Serger. Love their products. My serger is an old Kenmore. I better start saving .
Watch for the interest free financing. That’s a huge help!
Thank you! I love Bernina! I sewed on them in college and have been a convert ever since. My first Bernina overlock was a used 1980's machine and I sewed on it for 27 years. Still sews great and I have it in the closet for a backup. Worth the investment for me.
Do you ever apply fusible stay tape to shoulders, armholes and/or neckline?
I don't use the fusible as much on knits. I have used clear elastic on the shoulder or across the back of a neckline. Do you use it? Do you find it a good help? I am always learning!
Confused, when sliding the pattern over to give more room in the hip, doesn’t the grainline get askew?
Great question! Since the straight of grain is the center front fold, only side is changed. If the swing were very wide you could get a bit bias and need to do a more complicated alteration. For a tiny bit more hip room it is an easy fix.
@@stacyrobbins makes sense. I’ve done the slide over on paper to make it wider in the hip. This is such a timesaver! Thanks again.
Nothing quite as useful as the basic t-shirt!!
YES! I am replacing loads of old T-shirts with this pattern. 🧵
